The shinigami shrugged sarcastically at the retort. He knew already that he hated this guy, but there was no reason to go into a fight hot-headed. "Oh you know. Eating souls, killing innocents. That stuff," the shinigami replied with a large smirk, now looking at the Arrancar directly, adding to the taunt, "I've been meaning to ask, how does that taste to you, it's apparently so addicting."
He looked over the the human, and realized something important. It was a girl.
"Why is a girl heading up the mountains, anyway? Doesn't seem like the ideal place to hide out," he replied, pretending to shiver, though he couldn't feel the lack of heat.

Ikinaki smirked at the remark the shinigami made, he thought it was funny that the shinigami was expecting a soul eating insect that usually roam the streets and forests of Karakura Town, Ikinaki saw the shinigami taking a certain interest in the girl walking up the mountain trail. "Sorry to disappoint but surely you should know arrancar of my level do not need to devour human souls to stay alive."
"As for the girl, I would let her die, she surely is of no interest to the Gotei 13 I assume." Ikinaki's smirk dissipated, his face turned emotionless he turned to the shinigami and said "Well this is quite the predicament, shinigami." "It seems like you have caught me.. tell me whats my punishment?" Ikinaki began joking with the shinigami knowing that he is ready to fight him.

Akaharu rolled her violet eyes again, her steps not faltering for even a second. Each step was carefully placed, not a single stumble or slip-up to be found in her walk. She wasn't about to turn around yet. Not now, not ever. Akaharu continued her steady pace with her hands in the pocket, when she heard the words, "I would let her die," she turned her head and let out a sharp exhale of breath.
A sarcastic laugh.
"Funny. You think that I'm small so I must be frail or weak. How many times have I heard that same old story in the past two weeks, I wonder?" Akaharu said in a tone heavy with sarcasm.

Akio felt even more pissed at this arrancar. It was obvious that they were gonna fight at some point. But the shinigami knew that he could also make this guy slip up if he was the one who started it. So more taunting it is.
"Well, we have never really captured an arrancar. Usually they're too weak and we off em on accident. So I guess they'll have to think of something totally new for you, huh?" the shinigami said sarcastically, not losing his grin for a second.
He turned to the girl again, thinking that she must have a reason for going up all this way. ANYONE would need to have a decent reason to come here. "Ya, but why would you come to a mountain. You don't exactly look like a mountain climber" he said, continuing to look at the arrancar in the corner of his eye.

Ikinaki ignored the petty insults that the shinigami threw at him, he sat on the freezing earth that was the mountain trail, the girl continued to walk on, but Ikinaki had lost all interest in her, as for the shinigami, tension was rising between them, a fight seemed imminent but regardless Ikinaki needed to leave and new this fight if it occurred would take up unnecessary time, time he didn't.
"Well Shinigami, I am pretty tired and this boring back and forth we have between us fails to amuse me, so unless you intend to 'enforce' you're Shinigami laws and try to strike me, I am going back to my home." Ikinaki began walking up the mountain trail so the humans would not see the garganta he was about to summon up. He saw the girl still continuing to walk up the trail. "If its any consolation I have no intention of killing that girl, but if I have to I will."
Ikinaki smirked, "But you seem to have taken a shine to her."

Akaharu's ears twitched. Her fist clenched within her pocket, and the icy air around her seemed to back away as anger radiated off of her. Her steps finally stopped altogether, there was no sign of movement whatsoever. She stayed like that for an entire minute, just furious at the comment. She knew the sarcasm was there, she knew she was being looked down on, and she didn't like it.

Akaharu turned her head and shot a glare at the man. Her teeth gritted together, she was mad. She spat out another sarcastic laugh.
"You know what? That's funny, cause I'm not letting someone who's already dead kill me."

"Ah, leaving so soon?" the shinigami taunted, his hands behind his head, "I don't blame you for being scared. It's probably my intimidating presence, isn't it?"
The shinigami tilted his head over to the human for a second, then looked back at the arrancar. "Well that's nice to know. I wouldn't have to waste energy protectin' her, then. That'd be really unfair," he continued, a grin still apparent on your face, "Plus, I like this one. She's got attitude."

Ikinaki was extremely silent, he just continued walking up the trail ignoring the shinigami, he heard what the shinigami said to the girl then took a deep breath and turned round, he turned to his left and started walking a few feet and sat calmly down. "I would watch you're words around this one shinigami, after all you so called 'Death Gods' have a habit of underestimating you're opponents, but regardless this should be entertaining."
Ikinaki began smiling and took out his blade and started to wash blood of his sheath while waiting patiently for the girls response to the Shinigami's rude remark, Ikinaki being very entertained at the moment, he was smiling wider than ever before, he took enjoyment in others embarrassment and suffering and he was sure that the girl was about to unleash her wrath whether it be verbal or by force. "Well this should be eventful." Ikinaki said chuckling to his self.

Akaharu turned her head to the shinigami, and said nothing. Revenge would be hers, and he wouldn't know what had happened. She continued to walk, not giving either the satisfaction of her reaction. After all, all giving into such pressures ever did was give the 'predetors' their motive, what they were seeking.
And Akaharu was too stubborn to do that.
Instead of blowing up, Akaharu continued to walk, waiting to see if there would be a way for her to look with her hands, use her sonar again. She wanted so badly to use it to see, to use it in order to find something that could 'blow' into the shinigami the next time the wind gusted. Akaharu didn't turn her head, for fear of revealing her plan. Her expression was emotionless as she continued to walk.
Just wait for the moment, just wait for the moment.

Akio took in what they said, and watched the arrancar playing with his sword. Pff, he never underestimated his opponent.... except that one time... and the time after that... and th... well not recently anyway. And he wasn't about to do it this time either. His arm was grasped around the hilt of the sword on his back, his eyes not averting from the hollow in front of him.
Something did catch him off, though. "Annoyed? Huh. I'm sure I meant attitude in a good way. Like 'so hard to get it's a challenge' sort of way. But I guess my words are lost, unfortunately. Woe is me," he said in a faux dreary voice. "But it's an easy mistake. Happens all the time. I dunno why it's so annoying though. People just need to learn to relax," he continued, then looking around.
This sucks, no one can see me mop the floor with this guy. And it's not like I bring his head back as proof, he thought, his fingers gripping around Kusari.
