Narrowly escaping death was the guy who had sauntered in and out of fourth Espada Vaaz's room, Era Memory. And here he was again, courting almost certain death once again, in a bid to prevent the apocalypse from unfolding. Some people really never learn, do they?
Well, at least this time he wasn't dancing in the Arrancar's home field. He was back at good old Soul Society; so perhaps his safety was more reassured this time, seeing that only recently Retsu Unohanna had given him her goodwill.
Or not.
What lay here was a massive building; or perhaps it was better to say prison. Gaol. Jail. This was the Nest of Maggots; the most reputed Second Division's territory. Which meant that if Era felt a sharp pain behind his neck, that would probably be one of the Assassins who had just taken him out. After all, they were known to kill first, and ask questions later.
Era crawled along the grounds in the dark cave- he wasn't at the center of the Nest yet, but merely along its dark tunnels and winding stairs. There was no reason to approach the place taht housed all of Seireitei's inmates yet; the security was probably very good there, and the locals weren't exactly the friendliest people either.
Era gulped. Would his instinct be right? The place was certainly old enough, having existed long enough for one to have hidden a Sword within here for centuries come. But he had been wrong once; and he had been lucky to escape unscathed. This time, however, might prove a different case...
Shutting out his heart's fears, Era pressed on, back to the cold, damp walls of stone, moving but a step at a time.

Era facepalmed and did the seppuku. This was past frustrating. How hard was it to find a damned sowrd? Incredibly, it seemed. Either way, tehre was the sound of someone approaching, so it wasn't a bright idea to remain here more than he needed to. Era quickly stole away into the darkness of the night.
