With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Kohaku Anzu slid the wooden door of the Dojo open. She poked her head inside. It was empty, and dusty, and seriously needed some sweeping. But she wasn't there to clean.
She walked inside, opening a few of the windows, letting streams of light enter the room. She usually hated, no, disliked drawing her sword without reason, but she hadn't done so in a long time. Momiji was getting very annoyed.
So, Kohaku decided to stop by the Dojo and get some excercise. Not only would Momiji finally be satisfied, at least for the moment, but she could also improve her skills. And since it was simple training, no blood would have to be shed; an extra bonus.
Taking another look around the empty room, Kohaku blew a strand of hair away from her face as she waited for someone, anyone, to come in. As minutes passed, she found herself getting increasingly bored, and pulled out a journal from the folds of her kimono. Pen in hand, she walked up and down the room, scribbling in the small book. Minutes passed, and Kohaku was so absorbed in the writing that she had forgotten she was in a Dojo in the first place.
Malus Sondioed himself quietly into the dojo areaquickly servaying the area. He smiled evilly at the female he sore sitting on the floor her nose within a book. She had not noticed him, a slight stab to his ego but he would get over it. He thought about fiering a Cero right into her pretty face but he was never a man to hit a woman..........well that was a lie but he was trying to be sporting.
He watched her for a short while enjoying the calmness of the scene before the mayhem began. He absentmindedly fingered the mask fragment over his left eyebrow continuing back over his ear and around the back of his head, he loved the suttle scale like pattern that he felt on its serface.
The novelty of there serenity began to ware off and he began to wonder how the woman could not be aware of his presence. He ran his tung over his double fangs, something he always did to ease his fustration.
Clearing his throat loudly to get her attention he spoke in a teasing manner, "I wonder how you could have survived all these years when you cannot even tell there is an Arrancar in your presence. I would tell you how long I have been here but to be honest I lost track after ten minutes," he said a slight smerk on his handsome face.

Sitting comfortably in the corner of the Dojo, Kohaku sensed a presence enter the room.
Arrancar.
Peeking ever so slightly over her book, she noticed a rather tall Arrancar, looking bored, yet... he did nothing. If he wanted to fight, then he would have said something, right? Besides, she was in the middle of a brilliant poem...
Mintues passed, and he still had not made any sort of action towards her. Should she do something? Kohaku felt Momiji's excitement. Poor sword really loved a good fight. Unfortunately, Kohaku did not.
When she finished the last stanza, the Arrancar finally spoke. Snapping the book shut, and tucking it into her kimono, she looked up at him. "I'm sorry, I was in the middle of a poem," she said, "You should have said something earlier. Once I start something, it's hard for me to stop." Standing up, she shook the dust off her pants before continuing, "I'm Kohaku."
Malus smiled at the woman desplaying his double set of fangs. The amber of his eyes glinted slightly as he looked at her.
"Malus Fortuna," he said giving her a somewhat over exadurated bow, rising he placed his left hand on the long red handle of his Zanpakuto, he chuckled slightly, "forgive me I came here to play with some Shinigami and I find my self with an ichy trigger finger, if you will excuse the metaphor."
He walked slowly to stand ten foot before Kohaku, not making any move to remove his weapon he just kept his hand lazily on the handle not really gripping it just letting it rest there. He ran his tung absentmindedly over his right upper fangs as he waited for her responce.
Kohaku stood and faced the Arrancar, her own set of amber eyes locking into his own. For a second, her mind drifted, noticing how their eyes were strikingly similar in colour, but soon returned to reality. She placed her hand on the hilt of her sword, making no expression as she tilted her head slightly.
"You seem to be eager for a match," she said. "I hope you don't mind that I'm just here for some light sparring, nothing too...extreme."
She held her hand out in a gesture, "Since you seem to be excited, please, after you,"
At her words he amediately used his Sondio to move behind simutaniously removing his straight Zanpakuto from its shealth. The blade glisened in the light setting off the engraved image of a dragon that ran down both side of the the blade.
Slashing towards her back he said in as calm a tone as he could, "Of course my lady," he said grinning in a wolfish fashion his long white coat rippling as he moved.
As she heard the familiar sound of a sonido, one thought entered Kohaku's mind as she unsheathed her sword.
Predictable,[/i]
She shunpoed some distance away, and pointed a finger at him. "Hado 4, Byakurai," Instantly, a blast of blue lightning was released, aimed at the Arrancar's mid-section. Because she didn't recite the incantation, the spell wasn't as powerful as usual, but she told herself once more: It's just training
A smile curled his lips as she shunpoed away from his attack. He felt her Reiatsu reappear a small distance before him and felt the flicker of Reiatsu that signified Kido.
"Hado 4, Byakurai," she cried, he felt slightly insulted by her use of such a weak attack.
Landing softly on the ground and brought his blade up to block her on coming blow the flat of the blade facing his apponant. The Lghtning attack hit his blade hard forcing him to place other hand on the other side to keep himself steddy. The last remnants of the lightning ripped across the serface of his Hierro not even singing his flesh.
"You will need to better than that," he mocked lightly.
As the attack disipated a sight red glow began to grow from the based of the dragon design illuminatinng the tip of its tail in a fiery red light. He presented the design to Kohaku for her inspection
"What do you think my dear Kohaku?" he asked taking a small step forward letting the blade glint slightly in the. As he did he casually placed his left hand behind his back and breathed deep the warm air of the dojo, "Beautiful is it not?"

Kohaku wasn't at all surprised that the Kido did nothing to him. It wasn't the strongest spell, after all. And, without incantation, it was even weaker.
After he had blocked her attack with his sword, she noticed that it had begun to glow. Her eyes narrowed. Was his sword's ability to accumulate enough energy for a final attack? Considering that he didn't even release yet, it probably wasn't right.
"It's a unique sword, I'll admit," she said, "Rather long, isn't it?"
She motioned to her own sword, "But I like mine just fine."
"I don't ever remember offering to give you my sword," he said in a joking manner.
At that moment he released his grip on his blade letting it fall pulling his right hand back into a fist. Quickly gathering Reiatsu he thrust is fist forward fiering a crimson Bala towards the woman.
He quickly dropped his hand grabbing the hilt of his blade a second before it hit the ground. He amediatly Sondioed to Kohaku's right raising his conceiled left hand on which was already half formed a bright red Cero gathering in the claw like formation of his handaimed toward the womans chest.
As the Cero burst forward and the Bala spead toward its target he made a kissing gesture toward Kohaku.
(P.S. Sorry about the black text him using and different background and I didnt think about) (P.P.S. You have no idea how hard it was not to make a joke about the very long comment, please note I took the high ground..........and mentioned it here )
