Shinigami Application

--------------------
General Information
--------------------
Name: Ozawa, Tsukuyo
Actual Age: 179
Appearing Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance
A petite and youthful woman, Tsukuyo has aqua-marine eyes and brown hair with her bangs covering her forehead, and a ponytail tied in the back of her head. Her ponytail is very sporty, being centered up and down, left to right of the back of her head. It has a metronome effect, swinging hypnotically between her shoulders as she walks. Some of her hair falls in the front if her ears, hugging her face. She has a scar running horizontally on the left side of her forehead and another vertically on her left cheek.
Standing at five feet six inches, Tsukuyo has a swimmer body from her daily exercise of swimming. She has well defined muscles, but because it shows mostly her shoulders, triceps and biceps - it can come across as a little too broad or bulky. These are usually hidden by her uniform, but once she removes the kosode, one can clearly see the definition in her dark olive toned body. She removes the kosode when fighting, as the loose fabric gets in the way, however it should be noted that she does wear something similar to that of a sleeveless swim shirt. A black, form fitting shirt that has a high collar and shows off her well toned body. As it is form-fitting, it does show her B cup chest along with her abdomen.
An unique aspect of her uniform consist of a pair of dark blue tekko which go up to, but not past her elbows. Nothing particularly special about them, she just likes wearing them. Being very serious in nature, Tsukuyo is often seen with a face like a placid lake, calm until disturbed. She does smile at times and has a very unique laugh.
Personality
Tsukuyo has a tough, assertive personality and not afraid to speak her mind; but at the same time, she has a very compassionate and loyal spirit. I should point out, that with being tough and assertive may come off as being a jerk, but that isn't her intention. She is just very confident in her own abilities and feels it may be the best way to get the job done. Though despite this assertive way of thinking, she will listen to others with more experience to better her own skills.
She also had a mild tendency to hold grudges. Whether it's from someone insulting her or an accidental bump. She'll take it to mind and will remember the person's face for future reference. Though she won't outright seek revenge or try to sabotage them in any way, she will ignore them to a point and if she can't, her tone of voice will show her disdain.
A woman of action, Tsukuyo will take action quickly when the time calls for it. She isn't rash, as she knows the difference from a uselessly rushing into battle and thinking out a plan. She can quickly determine the proper action in most combat situations, but sometimes she will make a mistake, She'll see this mistake as a learning experience, as she knows her own limitations.
Tsukuyo is compassionate, sweet and caring outside the realm of combat. She has a deep sense of loyalty and duty to her comrades. She offers hope to others and is courageous enough to sacrifice her own life to save a friend and comrade.
She does have a sense of humor, though she typically does not like to laugh. Her laugh is quite embarrassing, she snorts and it makes her very flush. She has a fear of bugs and spiders, they creep and make her skin crawl. She has a very low alcohol tolerance, needing only a small amount to get drunk, even whiskey bonbons. While drunk, she tends to display an extremely aggressive nature, mercilessly beating whoever is near her.
History
For one to be born into a Akasen, life can be quite different. That would be the best way to describe Tsukuyo's life in the sixty-ninth district of south Rukongai. Her mother was plus who happen to be purified into such a district at an early age. She was found by a man and sold to a popular brothel. There she was used for many years, until she a man brought his son to become a man. What he didn't know was that the two would fall for each other.
In a secret love affair, Tsukuyo's was conceived, but she would not have the family she deserved. After the love affair, her father came down with an unknown illness which resulted in his death. Her mother was devastated, so much so she couldn't bare the pain of childbirth. Tsukuyo was born on March fifteenth, her mother was happy to see her crying child's precious face and gave her a name in her dying breath.
With one of his best girls gone, Lamia was very angry about Tsukuyo's birth, but before he tried to end her early life, he had an idea. He had a list of the men Tsukuyo's mother had been with in the past year, only one man came more times then any other. He could use this as blackmail, get money from the grandfather of this bundle of joy. For now, he had the girls raise her until he could confirm if her father really was that nobleman's son or not.
It was her sixtieth birthday, a party was set for Tsukuyo and she was happy. The girls treated her like a ray of hope in their awful lives. They spent what they could on a cake, they knew she had to eat even if they didn't have to. They even tossed in together to get her a doll, one that happened to look like her mother. Tsukuyo was happy, even if Lamia was so mean to the girls. but today he was being good to them and her.
He came down from his office, to watch the festivities. In a way, he saw her like a daughter he never had. Her smiling face brought him joy as she came over to him showing the new friend she got. His plan, his propose for keeping her alive was no longer part of his life. In a way, Tsukuyo changed the lives of all the them and became the family she always wanted.
That's when the man came. A drunkard with a pile of money came into the Lamia's Akasen. He was asked to leave, even though the brothel was closed for the party. Lamia insisted that he leave, as he was disrupting the party. Tsukuyo was confused as the what was going on. Oji-san was yelling, the smelly man was yelling, and her Ane were trying to her to come back over to them. This was when the man struck.
Lamia was hit with a large arm swing as the man grabbed Tsukuyo. He held a knife to her olive skin, right under her left eye. He wanted all of the money and one of the girls. To make his point, he cut down Tsukuyo's left cheek from her forehead, making her scream with pain. Lamia got up with assistants of a couple of the girls, but he wasn't about to let this man get away with hurting her or insulting his place of business. He had people to deal with this guy and had signaled them with a secret switch as he lead the man to his office.
Tsukuyo had never been in so much pain, but seeing the frighten face on her Ane's made it far worst. She made sure to keep herself quiet, she didn't want to be more of a burden. When they reach Lamia's office, his men were ready. Lamia sat in his chair, the girls made their way to the corners with a worried face. Tsukuyo was the first to notice the man coming from the ceiling. He must have been like shadows to her as they crawled above the man with swift silence.
Lamia asked for Tsukuyo's release as he distracted the man with money from his safe. The fat man licked his lips at the site of the cash, his grip loosened enough for her to squirm out, but that lead to another cut. As the man from the ceiling came in from behind and stabbed the fat man. Before he could keel over and die, he tossed his knife at Lamia only to have it cut across Tsukuyo's forehead. It seemed her birthday was always going to be an event associated with pain.
She was aware that she lived in a place that was dangerous if one was not careful. Her Ane's explained to the best they could what they did for a living and why they did it. Lamia even took it upon himself to have her educated, not wanting her to pick up bad habits from the girls. This was her life for the next forty years, learning all she could and still having fun playing games with her Ane's.
It was her Hundredth birthday that she enrolled into Shinōreijutsuin. Lamia had insisted that she go, knowing of Shinigami and why she needed to eat regularly. He made to escort her to the first district himself, leaving the girls protected and sadden to see her leave. She had never been outside of her own district but she knew what others were like. Lamia and the girls told her about the ones they had been into, she could see why some had left. It was awful in certain areas, she wished it would change. Sad faces made her sad, but not too upset Lamia, she remained quiet. She gave Lamia a hug before the Giant Hikonyūtō opened it for her to enter.
Her years in the Shinōreijutsuin were rather uneventful. She studied, made a few friends and rivals, you know the usual. She was never that good with Kido, but do to her early studying, was able to pick up hand to hand combat rather well. Lamia made sure she would be able to defend herself.
It was during her one hundred twentieth birthday that she discovered her zanpakuto. It was during one of her early morning swims that it happened. She thought she had gotten out of the water, to dry off, but this wasn't the bank she left. No towel and the beach was very bare. She hadn't even seen the mist rolling in behind her.
A voice was heard, she turned to face the most beautiful woman she had ever seen. Her white gown matched the porcelain skin. The flowing black hair had a silk white kasa that veiled around her head and her lower back. This was definitely not the same waters she entered into.
"Welcome Tsukuyo, I'm glad you finally made it." Her voice was soothing but her eyes made Tsukuyo relax. It was strange how much she reminded her of the doll she had as a child. Except for the blue markings painted on her face and shoulders. It didn't even occur to her that this woman was getting rather close to her. She was so relaxed around her, that when she was embraced in a hug that nearly surprised her.
Her eyes went from shock to calm, sh didn't know why this woman was hugging her but she liked it. It was comfortable, like the times her Ane's hugged her for the night, it just felt right. But she had to ask. "Who are you?"
The woman, still in her embrace whispered to Tsukuyo. "I've been with you your entire life. I was there when you held in your tears during that thunder storm. I was there when you were attacked by that man on your birthday. I've been with you for so long, you know me deep in your heart." Her words hit deep into Tsukuyo's soul. She knew some things that she had never told anyone before. Only those at Lamia's place knew how she got her scars but they never knew about that thundering night.
Then the woman spoke once again spoke. "Just look deep inside you and you'll know my name." Sh released her embrace and floated away in the mist. She was alone now, on that island sitting on the log. She had to some inner thinking and to her knowledge the best place to do that was here.
It was quiet, the water was placid and Tsukuyo was alone. The beach wasn't even that big, maybe five or six feet to either side, but she needed to think. This was obvious a test, the first test into becoming a full fledged shinigami. It took some time to think. She skipped a rock across the lake, she counted ten skips. She was at the edge of the water and despite it being so close to the shore, she couldn't see the bottom. She refused to leave without knowing, it was a challenge she intended to win.
It was only when she stopped thinking about it that sh figured out her name. She was staring at her reflection in the water. It seemed like such an obvious answer now that she thinks about it. She shook her head with a smile, when it came to her. She dove into the water, going toward her goal with Olympic skill. She knew the answer as the lady appeared holding a sword. Before Tsukuyo could make to the sword, it was dropped into the water, and she was forced to dive after it. She went deeper and deeper as the sword sank further into the never ending water.
With one last ditch effort to grab it, wrapping her hand around the hilt the water seemed to lift her out of the watery depths. The woman was still where she stood, on the water when Tsukuyo returned with a big breath. "Y-your name, I know it now." With a breathless moment, she smiled holding her zanpakuto close to her chest. "Waru Himitsu."
The woman smiled as the mist rolled over them. Tsukuyo awoke to find herself on the bank of the lake she swam in. She must have dozed off after her morning swim which lead to her adventure in her inner world. She looked to her side to see a newly changed Zanpakuto and that made her happy. Now she can practice her new shikai and she couldn't wait to tell Lamia and the girls.
They'll be so proud to hear of my new victory. She'll tell them in the letter with the presents she'll send them. But that will be later, now she had to practice her new found power. It took her thirty years to reach the level of skill she has with it now, but Waru Himitsu told her there is still some aspects of her powers that Tsukuyo had yet to tap into. This only met one thing to Tsukuyo, she still had much to learn and was glad to have such a helpful spirit to guide her.

Waru Himitsu does have a serious anger side to her. In the wake of seeing outrageous acts of cruelty, her calmness begins to ripple. She believes that once an enemy is defeated, there is no use to put an end to them. For this reason she hopes they will come to understand what it is they did was wrong and will forgive them. Her anger has a reflection on the inner world she resides in and will be explain below.

She's treats Tsukuyo with a caring and understanding heart. They have their differences as Waru Himitsu finds all life precious while Tsukuyo hates creepy-crawling things and will smash them if the opportunity presents itself.
They work rather well together seeing that Tsukuyo is always eager to learn. She understands that Waru Himitsu has more experience then she does, she respects any advice she can get from her, and often trains inside her inner world.
Inner World
A vast placid lake with no land insight, that is except for a single island. This island is where Tsukuyo usually appears. The island is sand with a log of drift wood in the middle. The lake is dark and deep, so deep you cake see any bottom, even in the shallow water near the island. On the lake is a rolling mist, it gets stronger when Waru Himitsu comes closer.
The lake changes depending on Tsukuyo's mood. When she gets scared, the water starts to shake. Anger causes the water to crash and rise flooding the island. It always upsets Waru Himitsu to see the lake is such a disarray.

Call Out Phrase: Anata no kikkake ni rippuru
Translation - Ripple in your wake
Shikai Appearance
When she calls out her release, Waru Himitsu changes into a water-like version of itself. Do to the special nature behind Waru Himitsu, it can change its shape into almost any other weapon Tsukuyo can imagine. See ability below for full description.
Shikai Abilities
Mizu no haji (water's edge)
- Description of Attack - Tsukuyo changes its shape into various more effective weapons such as a long staff, spear, hammer, mace, etc. When she changes the shape of the weapon, it first turns into its liquid state, floating in the air. After a two seconds, it transforms into a solid once more in the shape of the weapon Tsukuyo desires.
- Type - Water
- Range - Close
- Limitation - She can not change it into a duel wielding weapon, such as twin swords. She can change it every minute, but every time she does it uses 5% of her reaistu. The size and shape of the new weapon does not add to any overall damage. It still acts as her zanpakuto and has all of the major weaknesses of one. When changing its shape, it leaves a short window for an opponent to attack. The longest it can become is seven feet and the shortest to a foot. The widest it can become it three feet and the thinnest is two inches. The more complicated the weapon, the long is takes to form. While spears or staffs are the easiest, trying to change it into a weapon she is unfamiliar with, it becomes difficult to make. It takes another three seconds form this weapon.
Due to it being a water based zanpakuto, it has an added weakness to electricity and ice. Electricity disrupts this ability, making it hard to maintain a solid shape. Ice freezes the water to prevent it from changing shape.
As of right now, Tsukuyo can not use outside water sources to increase the overall strength of her zanpakuto. Though with training she can learn to do so, at her current level she can not.
As for damage on tiers, it does damage based on a zanpakuto of her level. That being said, it can not cut someone who is two or more tiers above her own.

Sample Post
--------------------
The sun was setting and it started to rain. It rained down on an olive toned beauty as she stopped in front of a building. The rain felt nice on the skin. She loved it when it rained, it was as if the sky was giving the world a cleaning shower. Her face was upward, feeling each drop travel down to drip to the ground below. A rare moment of peace before she walked into her home.
"WELCOME HOME!!" A burst of confetti guns and girls screaming in unison as Tsukuyo entered Lamia's place. The girls came over to give her hugs and kisses on the cheeks. Some of the more busty ones poked fun at her small size, much to her disapproval. But what made matters worse was when one came up from behind with a big grope.
That caught her by surprise and she quickly got out of the grip, holding her arms over them for protection. "That's too far, Nē-san." She flushed when she said it, but they all just laughed it off. Then she started to laugh, causing her to snort. She didn't have to be embarrassed here, they were family after all.
"Yohohoho, seems our little Moon as come to her fullest." Then the girls turned to see Lamia, the owner and Tsukuyo's uncle. You can see the age of him now, his once black hair had signs of gray. Wrinkles were showing around his face as he smiled.
Tsukuyo smiled as she stared. A moment of clarity of how she was raised and how her life could have been far worse if it weren't for them. "Well, you going to give your Oji-san a hug or what?" To which he opened his arms and Tsukuyo came in for an embrace. The girls awed at the site to which embarrassed both Lamia and Tsukuyo.
They went to the back where the party was going to happen. Her One-hundredth seventy ninth birthday party had started. She sat at the head of the table where all the girls told her the latest gossip. Some new girls tried to give her some sake, but the veterans quickly got it before Tsukuyo could drink it. They knew what would happen and explained it to the new girls, to which they dripped a small sweat on the side of their face.
They sang happy birthday, she smiled at the size of the cake they made. She was so happy that they still treated her like the ray of hope in their dim lives. Even Lamia had made changes to help the girls out by Tsukuyo's request.
The girls started to chant toast, toast and looked to Tsukuyo for it. She stood, a small flush on her face as she lifted her glass. "Thank you all for the great party. It makes me glad that even after all these years, you still love me like a sister. This is the best birthday of my life. Cheers." With that, she drank from what she thought was her glass but the girls knew the signs. They got out of there before Tsukuyo could get mad at anyone but Lamia, who was unaware at what had happened.
A bead of sweat fell down his face as he finally realized what had happened. "Oh dear, not again."
