Somewhere in Karakura town, a pair of little girls with the same red eyes sat beside each other on a park bench, one of them inching anxiously towards a stand full of balloons. She extended her arms, flailed a little, and whispered, "I really really want the green one."
"Then go take it."
"Really?"
She was so tempted. But that was wrong, it would be stealing. But the green balloon, it matched her hair so perfectly. She slowly fell from the bench, inching across the sidewalk like a snail rather than a little girl, before she propped herself up on her elbows and the balls of her feet, arched her back like a cat, and pounced directly into the balloons.
The force was greater than she had expected, and though she achieved her goal of green balloon squishy goodness, the rest of the balloons popped with a startling crackle.
"Nooooooo," she whined, "I didn't mean to pop them. I'm sorry!"
The bewildered balloon salesman shrugged his shoulders and went back to filling new balloons, but Kaki continued flailing on the ground, hardly noticing her balloon was floating away without its tether.
Meanwhile, Hotaru facepalmed.
