With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
"But I don't wanna fight, I trained this morning! See!" Aoide whined showing Kenpachi the muscle in her arm, pretty impressive for a girl. "Besides, is it wise to break a possible new member's spirit so quickly? I'm not even in Squad 11, get Ikkaku to do all the work! He's probably going to pee himself once we start fighting! I just did my nails. They just repaired the Training area," she then let out a sigh and crossed her arms, "My demands are a piggy back ride to the training area and a bottle of good sake, the expensive stuff, nothing more nothing left."
She glared at Kenpachi, who did he think he was just assuming that she would fight..for free.

Blah blah blah blah blah... Gee wiz, sometime Aoide talked more then Yachiru. Sometimes.
"Quit complainin'!" Kenpachi growled, "The hell is wrong with you? Besides, Ikkaku is busy today. He, Yumichika and Yachiru are on earth for somethin'."
"So what you trained this mornin'?" The tall captain sighed and shook his head. "If I recall right, you trained before your fight with Ikkaku as well."
"My demands are a piggy back ride to the training area and a bottle of good sake, the expensive stuff, nothing more nothing left."
He stared incredulously at her, as if she was insane. "No. To the ride at least. ...I'll think about the sake."
He fell silent for a moment before deciding. "Ah what the hell, ya can come over tonight after Yachiru's asleep. I got a couple bottles a few days ago, bout as expensive as it gets."
He paused and glared at her, "But you better not pass out on my couch again."
With that, they finally got to the training room, it was quite large and rather bland. Well, to him at least. There were stains of blood all over the place, as if multiple people had attempted to paint the walls and have failed miserably.
Because the sparring session this afternoon, the area was quite clear of equipment. They stood there on a well-matted floor.

When the captain entered it was in Tsugaru's own will to salute the man again. He honestly held only the highest respect for him, even if it was misplaced. After holding the salute for a few moments he allowed his hand to fall back to his side and began to mentally prepare himself for the fight that was sure to come. He started to sift through his mental rolodex for all of the counter stances he could think of. If he didn't know what the hell she was going to come at him with then he would need to become a jack of all trades in countering them. He knew, if anything, he would be able to fall back on his speed and dodge her until he was able to land a hit.
"Sir, I am ready to do as you instruct, without question"
He surprised even himself with his own lack of humor but he wasn't at ease with the thought of joking with a man like him. Sure, the air about him seemed easy enough at the moment but Tsugaru knew that it could change in an instant and the last thing he needed was a pissed off captain on top of an impossible fight.
"I'm not going to pass out on your couch, everytime I do you either wake me up with your ugly mug right in my face, or scare me to death with a Reistu burst. I mean come on, what happened to a polite nudge to the shoulder," Aoide complained taking out her blade and holding it over on shoulder, which would have made her seem impressive if her blade wasn't half the size of most Shinigami blades.
"Look at him," Aoide sighed rolling her eyes, was she really going to fight thise guy right out of the academy? "I feel like I'm taking away his battle virginity or something, it makes me feel dirty," Aoide made a face as Kenpachi glared at her, damn he always knew when she was procrastinating, "Oh hey, there's my blood, there's your blood, and there's Ikka-chan's," she added with a cocky smirk as she pointed out these areas before she disappeared.
She flicked her blade out of it's sheath with a thumb as she appeared to the kid's right. Pulling her blade free she aimed for the boy's shoulder, hey maybe she could it himjust right and he couldn't use the arm for the rest of the match. It was almost snack time too. She was pretty sure that Kenpachi had some sort of fetish watching underlings fight, but she wasn't going to say anything about it.
Seemingly ignoring comments from both Shinigami, he silently took as seat on the sidelines as Aoide shunpou'd out of sight. It was hard to catch her movements as a beginner, but Kenpachi could easily tell where she was aiming for, having memorized the pattern.
"Be ready to fight the unexpected." Kenpachi stated in an almost lazy fashion. "In the heat of battle, ya ain't gonna be able to study the opponent before engagin' them. The only reason members from the 2nd can do that is because they hide like sissies until they find an openin'."
"Be on yer toes." He deadpanned to the newcomer, "And never let anythin' surprise you. You in the real world now, and everythin' the academy taught you is useless."
"Don't hold back because she's a girl." Kenpachi said simply, "You'd only end up aggravating her."
He scoffed at the idea of Aoide being scorned in this fashion, the man before her wouldn't stand a ghost of a chance. Still, he could sense... some potential in this man. It wasn't much, but it was there.
"Give it everythin' you got." The tall captain growled, "And if you ain't ready to do that, you ain't ready for the 11th."
Sure he had seen her move, he had spent most of his school career studying flash step and swordsmanship but there was no way his body could move fast enough to block it. The blade sunk into his shoulder pretty deep and he couldn't help but cry out even in the slightest. He bit onto his lower lip and jumped back from the woman that had rust wounded him. The stare he was giving her would only clarify that he would not be taking it easy on her due to the fact that she was a girl. He wouldn't hold back, stop fighting or show mercy until his goal was accomplished. Either he would lay unconscious or dying on the floor or she would. He nodded and spoke quickly.
"I under stand, Sir. I'll give it all I have"
And with that he reached back with his left hand, drew his zanpakuto and brought it to his face. In almost a whisper he spoke in a loving tone to his Zanpakuto.
"Shibatsu... Mother. Help me to further my goals."
He placed his hand on the blade and shouted the next command.
"Shibatsu Pounce!"
As he shouted the zanpakuto's name the over sized kunai split into four large blades and socketed into place becoming a very large shuriken. Tsugaru then threw the zanpakuto through the wall to his left and charged his opponent. Hopefully him charging would distract her from the true problem. If given the chance Shibatsu would come plowing through the other side wall at the women and strike her if not blocked. It was a sneak attack that he had been trying to master.
Get her, Shibatsu...
He would try his damndest to flash step out of her way if she successfully countered his attack... which was most likely.

"Oh where, or where did yor Zanpaktou go?" Aoide asked as the boy charged at her, he was pretty fast, yet not fast enough. She smirked slightly, blocking his attack, but instead of pushing him away she locked blades with him, her eyes narrowing as her Reistu glowed around her. She stared at the boy, her eyes glowing faintly with orange energy as she began to memorize his Reistu. As she satyed locked with him weapon wise, her eyes began to move around the room, tracing the light blue spiritual energy of this boy.
Her eyes widened a little in surprise, a sneak attack, she wasn't use to that. Aoide dug her feet into the ground, moving her Zanpaktou ever so slightly to unlock it from the boy's blade. Her body seemed to hum as his blade missed her side by a few inches, but it was enough movement to get the boy off balance. Her arm muscles tensed grabbing the boy as his blade was down, her leg wrapping around his leg to trap him into place as his surprise attack exploded out of the wall, heading directly for them, and the boy was directly in the way.
She was quick, too damn quick and Tsugaru had found himself locked up with the same person he had just sent Shibatsu to come after. He knew Shibatsu would do what she could to not harm him but he really didn't want to loose the momentum that she had in her attack. He thought he knew what to do but wasn't sure whether it would help or not. It was just the kind of stupid idea that he usually used and it almost made him laugh when he thought about it. As Shibatsu blew through the wall he let her get with a foot and he pushed away from her hoping to throw her into the air above him. Sure it would throw him to the ground at the same time but maybe it would place her in the path of Shibatsu. Maybe he would land an attack instead of being the prey the entire time. If he could actually get her off of her feet he would try to head butt her as well, seeing how it was the only thing not locked up at the moment... hopefully Shibatsu would cut it too close.
"Don't you cut me, Shibatsu!

Well he was a lot smarter then he looked, Aoidehad to give him credit as the boy used his weight and muscles to throw the two of them to the ground to mis his surprise attack. She untangled her arms and legs from his, shunpoing away to avoid being trapped under his body. She was a little disappointed, he had released his Shikai so early. Those whodid that were often reckless and tended to tire out pretty quickly. Aoide smirked, her Reistu growing again a the thought of this fight. It would be a nice little training session.
She then stood there looking at the boy, her eyes narrowing slightly, "You're slow," she said casually resting her blade on her shoulder, a look she had picked up Ikkaku as her stance relaxed slightly. Not that she was getting cocky, she just liked with when her enemy under estimated her, "I'm still faster then you and I haven't released my Shikai. Is being in Squad 11 that important to you?"
she WAS fast, amazingly fast but it wouldn't diminish his want, no, his need to be in squad eleven. As she easily unlocked her limbs from his had sped away he reached up and pulled Shibatsu from the air and got t his feet. Her stance relaxed but t meant little to him. As soon as he got up he rushed her, Shibatsu in hand, and started rotating it within his palm. IT caused the shuriken to spin much like a fan blade and perhaps if it actually scored a hit while she was blocking, it would be able to just roll over her blade with it’s spinning and score an actual hit on her. Even if she defeated him it would be nice to know that he could land even a small hit on her… he just needed to pour all of his determination in it.
I will strike you, for my goals!!!
Perhaps Shibatsu would hear him and lend him a hand. As he called out in his mind his spiritual pressure started to become more powerful, whether it would effect Aoide was a completely different story, though. He just had to land a hit and impress the captain, all he wanted was to be on squad eleven.
”Joining squad eleven is as important to me as my own life! Joining squad eleven will accomplish another one of my life goals and further me down my path!”
And with that he droves his spinning shuriken as hard as he could in the hoped of landing a hit.
