With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
After finishing up her meal, Sayuri sipped away at her soy milk, she side glanced at Soifon in response to her comment, her brow furrowed a little once again, "Hmmm... It's not that I don't like the others... it's just they tend to be a bit too... emotional... intense... They try portray themselves as cold-hearted and pushing away others as discipline... Though, I have to admit I fell partly in line with that myself, but not out of disliking others or being uncaring... I was just worried it would distract me from my duty... distract me from serving... you... But, I've begun to see the error in thinking it would distract me from my duties."
"And with you having convinced me to stop over-working myself, it leaves me with more time to interact with others", Sayuri sighed a little, "I'm not used to interacting with others very often, but... I'm not above trying.", she then looked to Kamair as she commented, "Besides, Kamair-sama is not so bad. A little... panic-y... but not like the others trying so hard to be aloof."
She then looked to Soifon as she remarked, "Our greatest problem being our own Division members seem too willing to turn their blades on each other...", Sayuri ponders it for a second, "None of them responded to Omaeda's soft approach - he lacked discipline himself... While Yukino seems... disinterested in dealing with the Division members... However, they all respond to your strong-handed approach... So, what I am thinking is we continue with that... When they turn their blades on each other, we break down both sides to force them to see the error in their ways."
"Besides, Kamair-sama is not so bad. A little... panic-y... but not like the others trying so hard to be aloof."
Kuso! Kamair twitched slightly, Talking about me like I'm not here!
Baka! A voice in his head responded. Focus on clearing your throat before you die!
Oh yea...!
Knocking his fist against his chest a couple times before he was able to cough out the rather large piece of shrimp. He quickly recollected himself and found his way back to his seat, albeit hastily.
Taking a seat, he scratched the back of he head and began to eat again, munching away at his food like nothing had happened.
"Demo... 'But..." Kamair interjected. "We don't fight as much as the 11th. We're just not as inclined to work as a group."
He guilty recalled the mission that Soifon had overseen a couple weeks prior. "Gomen nasai. 'Sorry.' "
He turned his attention back to his food and finally finished it. After that, he too, picked up his cup and sipped his tea.
"We among the lowly look up to the seated officers..." Kamair noted offhandly, seemingly to himself. "That's why some of us push to be noticed. However, when people like Yukino-futaichou pay us no heed. Well... we close up and wonder what is flawed with us. Perhaps that is the reason to the bickering, people believe that if they end up on top, they'll be noticed."
He blinked, finally having noticed that he said that out loud.
"But what do I know?" He said hastily, laughing albeit nervously before returning his attention back to his cup.

Soifon nodded understandingly to Sayuri as she explained her position on socializing, "I have noticed that trend since Omaeda's passing..." she said as if she almost missed the fat bastard.
"I'm sure you'll find your comfort zone," her words were partly distorted as they came just as her glass neared her mouth, and the voice bounced around inside it, then the soft noise of a slurp followed.
"I want a certain level of detachment in my squad. The ability to turn a blade on one another can be more valuable than you'd think, though some take it far, too, far, and are punished severely over it," she commented as if she didn't have to remind anyone over what she meant.
"Omaeda did his job well. I wouldn't have had him as my Vice Captain if he did not," she said matter of factly, but not harshly, "But he did lack discipline..." she gave her that.
"When needed, and things go, too far, I shall assuredly step in..." someone had to. Sayuri was right about Yukino...
Her attention went to Kamair as he came up for air, "Perhaps. Then again, Kenpachi offers a great deal of attention to his squad from what I understand, and they still act as animals... It's likely the combative nature of our two squads that make them so difficult to keep calm."
She said not a word about Yukino. Yet another complaint about her withdrawn nature.
Soifon sipped her tea once more, and let the scent, and flavor relax her.
Sayuri nodded in response to Soifon in regards to Omaeda conceding her point, he did his job as far as delegation went and being active amongst the squad. Though she also conceded Soifon's point about being able to turn a blade on another being valuable as well, the crowning achievement of pure idiocy Tommyco was able to obtain was proof of that; and each of the traitors Sayuri got her hands on did not survive - though any who show disloyalty to Soifon she does not hesitate to crush. She shook her head a little in response to something Soifon said in a slight bit of disagreement, "I know you will step in, Soi-sama, but I said 'we' because I and any other Seated member would be a poor excuse for one if we did not step in, either."
Though her eyes turned to Kamair and nodded in agreement with his words, "That's true, Kamair-sama, I remember feeling the same at times when I first joined 2nd Division. Though, I am a recent addition to it, my mind is mostly geared toward the way things are done with the Onmitsukido's Executive Militia. There the situation is a bit different, there are no Seats, there is only you as a member and the Commander, we answer directly to the Commander. The Divisions work by the Seat heirarchy, and when that heirarchy ignores those below them in a continuous chain - it forces the members to vie for favor and attention leading to incestuous in fighting like dogs."
Her eyes turned to her still unfinished second glass of soy milk cradled in her hands, she could not deny Soifon's point as well, "It's true also way you say, Soi-sama, we are heavily combative... my own antics a second ago are proof enough of that... But, that only tells me we need a stronger sense of discipline within in our Division. But also able to turn our blade on our own... like our most recent incident.", she said with an implicative tone.
Staring off thoughtfully, she took a sip of her soy milk, as she lowered her glass back down from her lips she asked, "Soi-sama, your opinion off-duty... If I enacted a set of rules or laws of conduct for 2nd Division to help prevent the bit of chaos we're suffering under in 2nd Division, would you support it? The idea behind it is enforce a level of discipline... possibly even enact Division wide training schedule... Those who train together work together."
"Perhaps. Then again, Kenpachi offers a great deal of attention to his squad from what I understand, and they still act as animals... It's likely the combative nature of our two squads that make them so difficult to keep calm."
... Somewhere in Seretei...
"AAACHOOO!!" Said man sneezed loudly, causing passing Shinigami to stare at him. "What the hell's wrong with me today?"
... Back in Rukongai...
"That is true." Kamair mused, sipping from his cup thoughtfully. "Still, the second is known for it's discipline."
It was a fact, most shinigami believed that assassins were meant to be strict and disciplined. They were supposed to carry out orders with precision and speed, surpassing every other division in this area.
But, they were people, and still had their pride.
"The 11th make more a habit out of picking on other squads, rather on each other..." Kamair observed. "If they do end up beating each other up, it's due to their vigorous sparring. They are likely to simply turn on each other."
"That's true, Kamair-sama, I remember feeling the same at times when I first joined 2nd Division.
He sighed, that was also true. It was this constant pattern of ego's that got in the way, something that began to annoy him a very long time ago.
"While fighting does improve durability, strength and skill, it still depletes the ranks. If only others could see it that way." He huffed, bringing one arm of and resing his head on his hand. "Truth be told, I wish everyone wasn't so emotionally constipated."

"Sorry, Sayuri, the rules are fine as I have them. We may be chaotic, but if we have too much discipline, my squad would become unhealthy, and deteriorate," Soifon said with a calm composure, then refilled her tea. "However, if you have training exercise ideas to aid in teamwork, that would be of help," she said, almost out of character.
"People need to release stress... Some fight, some have hobbies, some beat up their subordinates," No points to guess which one Soifon does mostly, "Too much discipline is what leads to emotional constipation," she sipped her tea lightly, "thus, chaos is allowed, but it's controlled. We don't kill when training, or disciplining save for rare occasions."
"I'd have faith in the leadership of the squads," she said calmly, and exhaled to relax some.
She wasn't sure if these two understood exactly what went on behind the scenes, but right now, Soifon didn't have the time, or drive to mentor them on it right now, and some things people just did not need to know.
Sayu wakes up from her sleep and walks into the area where everyone was. She says "Good morning Captain soifon" She then looks at Sayuri and bows to her "Hello fith seat Sayuri" Sayu the began sipping on peppermint tea and says to SoiFon "I heard what happend with the third seat sorry captain". Sayu then has an idea "I don't mead to but in ma'am but you should make Sayuri your third seat Captain" . Sayu then bows and waits for a response from her Captain.
Sayuri's eyes turned downcast seeing her suggestion being turned down, "I see... I...I'm sorry, Soi-sama, I did not mean to step beyond my bounds.", though when her Soifon told her the training excerises for creating better team work would be helpful, her eyes lit up a bit and she smiled, "Ok, I will come up with something to help the Division work more cohesively in training, Soi-sama.", really all the girl was hoping for was to be in some way helpful and supportive to her Captain in her Seated position.
Perhaps taking Soifon's words a little out of context, Sayuri gasped in dismay in reaction to Soifon's comment about having more faith in the leadership of the Divisions. Sayuri took it as Soifon thinking Sayuri had no faith in Soifon's leadership, which such a thought terrified Sayuri to no end - it was visible in her widened eyes - the expression on her face - the thought shook her to her core. Her idol, her crush - the one she admires above all others - thinking she has no faith in the Gotei 13s leadership, which includes Soifon - maybe the girl understood wrong - still, as mentioned, the thought horrified her, "Soi-sama!", Sayuri pleaded trying to clarify, "Th-That's not it all - I... I have all of my faith your leadership! I... I... just... I was just... trying to think of ways I could support you as your 5th Seat... I never meant to imply anything other... Forgive me, please."
The girl that just approached the three of them seemed to pick a particularly awkward moment to step into the conversation. Thankfully, they are off-duty at the moment.
He almost choked, again. This time; however, he caught himself. Did Soifon mean to think that they had no trust in her? That was clearly not the case!
Sayuri's immediate stuttering simply proved the fact that she was thinking the same thing.
"Forgive us." Kamair said automatically, bowing his head rather shamefully. "We had never intended to question the leadership in charge, nor wold we have ever questioned your leadership!"
Cursing himself mentally, he should have known better than to talk about things that were none of his business. The 2nd squad would be run the way that it was always run. By the mistress Soifon, his measly opinion did less then matter.
After all, he was nothing but a servant.
"Forgive us." He repeated, bowing his head even lower.
"Hello fith seat Sayuri, I heard what happend with the third seat sorry captain. I don't mead to but in ma'am but you should make Sayuri your third seat Captain"
He raised an eyebrow imperceptively, not minding that he had been ignored, but someone odded out by the fact that this person had appeared out of nowhere to show up in Rukongai.
And with such horrible timing...
This is... awkward. He thought to himself, Kamair shot a glance to Sayuri that clearly said, Do you know her?
However, he didn't push the fact before turning his attention back to his taichou. She didn't seem angry, which was a good sign. Still, it could be a simple guise as inside she plotted their executions.
He almost choked again, and he wasn't even eating! Mentally sighing, he thought over how crazy the days events were.

"Hello, Sayu..." she said calmly, then listened to her idea... "My plans for seats are my business, and mine alone," she said in a soft, distant tone, but easily leaves the impression she's not going to discuss it ever.
"Join us if you want. We're enjoying a meal, and relaxing off duty," she says to Sayu, the returns to her drink.
"Don't worry about it, Sayuri. I understand your motives," she tried to calm the woman down.
"You're forgiven, Kamair," she said to him reassuringly, but yet, distant as per normal.
It was at this point Soifon realized the necessity in picking her words better. This was one reason why she valued Omaeda... he may have been a windbag, but he could talk to people a lot easier.
"Relax, lets not talk about work, hm?" she offered to the group, trying to change the subject to something more plesant.
