Captains Meeting ( all Caps)

::Byakuya stepped forward a little, so where even the shorter captains could see him. His gaze was cold, as was his face. He turned toward Commander-General Unohana, and spoke::

"Out of respect for my fellow captains, I shall only speak of my squad. I believe that the sixth should retain its position as protecting the noblility, pride, and image of the Gotei Thirteen. That is my suggestion."

::He stepped backwards a few inches,, waiting on the next suggeston.::

"Yeah, yeah, nobility and pride." Hikaru scoffed from his position, offering the nobleman a mocking yawn.

He had seen both sides of the world in Soul Society. Having spent time living in both the upper and lower districts. What the man could know about pride, Hikaru didn't know. To his knowledge Byakuya never had to stuff "pride" down his throat in order to survive.

"I suggest we assign a division to relations with the Rukongai. Without them, we wouldn't have the supplies necessary to keep the divisions going. And lord knows we treat them poorly enough as is, especially the shinigami concerned with "nobility" and "pride"." He sneered, his blue eyes narrowing at Byakuya.

It was no secret that he disliked the Kuchiki nobleman. He would rail against him, no matter the cause. Even if Byakuya was right, he would staunchly fight against him. He had too much pride to do otherwise. Which he supposed made him a hypocrite, but that thought was always buried away as quickly as it would come up.

Shunsui heard Kuchiki talk and was weirdly disgusted by it. He spoke not though his only reaction was the narrowing of his eyes and shoving his hat over his face. He sighed softly to prevent from other people hearing that he did so. He knew that there would be a captain to go against him soon as no people really liked Kuchiki.

As he predicted another captain soon stepped forward and this was a captain Shunsui had more respect for then he would ever get for kuchiki. The captain spoke about things that everyone knew should change but no one really cares about. He would sonly step in this conversation. The person finished speaking and Shunsui decided this would be his time to speak.

’’People Calm down and look at the facts as they are. They squads have no co-operation and they are mostly ruined by the fights we had recently. We need to change that by getting new captains as soon as possible. Other then that, ’’

He looked at the captain that had just spoken and continued.

’’We need to aid the districts out of seireitei, but we need to do it carefully. Furthermore I think my squad should do what it has always done.’

Running as fast as he can and breathing heavily, Renji finally reaches the two large doors that separated him from the captains meeting. Catching his breath and holding the white captain's robe in his right hand he realizes that this will be the first time he enters the chamber not as a lieutenant, but as a Captain. Still now sure how he had gotten the position of Capain and knowing that he was late to his first Captain's meeting he quickly puts on the Captain's robe and adjusts his own uniform trying to make himself look as formal as possible he places his right palm on one of the door and begins to push it. Noticing that the door was slightly heavy he places both his hands on the two door and begins to push it open.

As the doors opens Renji enters the chamber and sees that several Captains were already in the middle of discussing matters that involves the Gotei 13. Glencing around the room he quickly spotted his former captain Captain Kuchiki as well as the other old and new captains. Sensing that tensions were already flaring during his absences he quickly got in formation to where he thinks he should stand and remains silence.

Unohana, just sat in her chair watching each captain voice their options as well as one insulting the other, she just lets it go as there are bigger issues then what the captains thing of each over, as the captains are talking Unohana stands up and begins to say.

“Silence there is more at stake here then what you think of each over, now then I agree with Shunsui we need to help are people, ok so I have a rough idea of your they are the following.

Captain Hikaru you are to do what you suggested, take your division and ensure that the people off Rukongai support us. That is your divisions new goal, I expect you to carry out with the upmost respect and without questions.

Captain Roben I don’t care if you where daydreaming remember your a captain so act like one, now for your orders I want your division to work with Captains Hikaru division, and I expect you to follow my orders to the letter, you will handle the Supplies and transport them to and from the Soul Society.

Captain Sajin, your divisions orders are to keep watch over Karakura Town and act as support for the units already there, you may act on your own accord but remember keep it within limits, I also expect you follow my orders without question.

Captain Karel, I have no orders for you at this time just keep training and till such time as your division is needed, there will be a time but it is not on this day so stand ready for orders at a moment notice.

Captain Kuchiki your division is to remain here and secure the Soul Society, and run its Security any actions with that side will go through you, I expect you to carry out my orders as well without question don’t let me down

Captain Shunsui, you division is to carry on doing what you do, im counting on you carry on, I expect you to work with the other divisions if they require help.

Captain Hitsugaya your division is the best cut out to run the whole thing, so you are in change of making sure the others divisions are doing what they have been told to do, ant problems tell me.

So let’s make this happen captains, I want to see all divisions out there working them self’s to the bone, I want to be ready just incase there is a war coming, and captain Renji seems you are new to your division I want you to get to know your division better most of the captains in this room have the respect of their division members so that is your job. Unohana then sits back down and waits for the captains to talk about their new assignments

Meanwhile......outside the Captain's meeting room....

Outside the meeting hall where the captains of each squad discussed their issues a very familiar shinigami appeared before it's walls. His black hair and medium complexion are what made him generally distinct among his peers. The shark tattoo he had on his right forearm was tribute to his legacy. He paced around the meeting hall diligently awaiting for his captain's arrival from the meeting. This seemingly young shinigami was no other than the Vice-Captain of 6th squad serving under Captain Kuchiki, Ranimaru Touskei.

.......... ......... ........... Nyah! I can't stand waiting here! I was hoping to do something important soon but it seems Kuchiki-Taichou isn't finished with his meeting. I must be vigilant, I have a responsibility as the Lieutenant of 6th squad I shall wait here till my Captain's return. although I must admit it is such a bore to just wait out here alone I would think the other vice-captains would be here as well.

As Ranimaru awaited his captain he felt as if a storm was brewing on the inside of those doors. Ranimaru couldn't possibly fathom the matters of which captains dealt with and in what matter. As he pondered his thoughts time passed by as birds chirped in the nearby barracks and the sound of them fluttering away from the chatter in the nearby barracks.[/center]

Karel stood up suddenly from his chair and turned to the doors to leave. "Excuse me for a moment" he said simply as he exited the doors. Karel could no longer restrain himself, he needed to breath fresh air and calm down. If Captain's meetings were going ot be a regular duty, he would have to learn to control his urge to cut down strong opponents. As he waited outside the meeting room, he sensed a familar reietsu nearby. He turned to find his old rival waiting outside the room. "Ranimaru" he greeted coldly.

Not even ten minutes in the Captain's Meeting and Renji can tell conflicts were already building up. Then hearing Head Captain Unohana's orders, he remains quiet and gave a slight nod, at the same time he tries not to make any eye contact with his former Captain for now he too is a Captain of his own right.

Hikaru scoffed at Karel's brisk walk out the door of the meeting hall, rolling his eyes and making hand gestures that would imply that the Captain was insane.

He was just a Kenpachi clone in Hikaru's eyes. Except Kenpachi was analytical; a savant really. Most people thought he was a mindless brute, but the man had a very tactical eye, and could be quite analytical.

To Hikaru, Karel was just mentally unstable and could bring more harm than good.

Ironically, he was starting to sound like the previous Captain of the 9th.


Letting out a long, drawn out sigh, he nodded in acceptance of the commander generals orders. He thought it would have been better to force Kuchiki out into the Rukongai to improve relations, but that was more because he wanted to see the man squirm, and not because he felt that was best.

Unohana, that stands up and looks to the captains and says, " Right we are done here i expect you all to carry out your orders"
