With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Samuii crossed her arms, as the rays of the sun peeked out from above the trees. Standing about ten feet in the air, the red-haired Arrancar took a deep breath, feeling the cool morning air in her lungs. She closed her eyes, feeling the light and warmth of the sun as it rose from the horizon. She could feel the reiatsu of hollows all around her, devouring the souls of any unlucky Plus that got in their way. But she ignored them. It wasn't her problem. Those Shinigami should be there saving those souls. Why should she even bother thining about them?
It had been a few days since her bout with that Arrancar, and her meeting with that Shinigami, but that experience was just another day in her life. How could she possibly be a traitor when she was on nobody's side in the first place? She huffed. That bastard deserved to die for calling her such a name.
Opening her eyes, she saw the sun was almost halfway up. A smirk formed on her face as the morning climbed out of the horizon. With the roars of the hollows, and the screams of the souls, only one thought was in her mind.
Hyoto was walking around the human world, bored. He was thinking of opening a garganta back to Hueco Mundo, but that would yield the same feelings. Besides, thats where Aizen was, and where the hurt was. Suddenly, he sensed an odd reiatsu, one that was worth checking out. Without a moment's notice, he sonido'd to the location of the pressure, finding an odd female Arrancar. "Well well well, what do we have here?" He asked, suddenly behind her. "Whats a young Arrancar like yourself doing in a boring place like this?" He continued. "I'd think someone like you would be in Hueco Mundo, praising Aizen or something."
Ikkaku had been sprawled out in a tavern floor back in soul society when he had received the order to go find an Arrancar that had been sighted in the human world. Things had been boring lately and he relished the chance for some action. Getting up he began walking to the senkai gate only to be greeted by 5 other members of squad 11.
"Ikkaku-san! We've been given orders to accompany you to the human world and help search for this arrancar."
[red]"Hell, i don't want no rookies like you guys tagging along, plus i can handle an Arrancar on my own, now run along and don't insult me by offering help![/red]
Ikkaku grumbled to himself as he waited for the squaddies to leave, although it seemed they weren't going to until Ikkaku began to walk to the nearest one with a rather intimidating frown on his face. [red]"Leave!"[/red] The squad-member quickly disappeared in a cloud of dust, almost following over as he did. Finally he could get to the matter at hand, as Ikkaku walked towards the senkai gate it opened infront of him and he walked into the bright light.
Upon arriving at the park he quickly felt the arrancars presence and looked around for it. There! It was a young looking woman that seemed to be just standing there day dreaming. Perfect. As Ikkaku got ready to move in on his target a second figure suddenly appeared behind the first. As far as Ikkaku could tell they hadn't used shunpo to get behin the opponent which left 3 likely possibilites. Either it was a vizard, an arrancar or a Quincy, whichever it was it mean Ikkaku was going to have more fun than he had thought. Using his shunpo he travelled towards the two almost instantly and appeared 3m infront of the girl with a grin on his face as he drew his weapon.
Samuii felt a presence behind her. She remained silent, until he began to speak. And when he finished, she couldn't help but tilt her head ever so slightly.
"Praise?" she asked, "I don't praise anybody. Aizen can kill himself for all I care." Which was true. The traitorous Shinigami can do whatever he wanted, just as long as it didn't involve her. "Why? Are you going to kill me for betraying my 'people'?"
She turned again and looked at the sky, which was now clear blue and illuminated by the sun. But before she knew it, a black blur appeared in front of her. Samuii covered her eyes, as the light suddenly grew, before dimming again. And when she looked ahead, she saw a very bald Shinigami with a grin on his face, drawing his sword.
For a moment, Samuii was actually surprised, but soon regained her composure. Placing a hand on the hilt of her sword, she looked at the other Arrancar, and then at the Shinigami. "Two against one? That's hardly fair."
Hyoto saw the Shinigami before he sensed him, and by the time he sensed him, he was already there. He saw the Arrancar girl take a defensive stance, and took a step to get in front of her, drawing his sword. "No, I won't kill you, girl." Hyoto said. "In fact, I praise you for your defiance. I only wish I could do the same." He said the last sentence almost longingly.
"What is your name, Shinigami? Hyoto asked, making sure he was positioned in front of the girl. He admired her, in a way, and was going to make sure she wouldn't be harmed too much. That is, until he grasped the reiatsu the Shinigami was giving off. It was almost choking him.
Ikkaku looked at the two of them and grinned. Both arrancar, it was easier to tell when he was this close. And it appeared that they were going to both make a go for him.
[red] "In the circumstances i would agree with you, you two will definitely need more than two to take me on."[/red]
As he watched the second figure which, from his reiatsu, appeared to be the weaker of the two, stepped forward as if to defend the girl. It seemed slightly foolish, as noble as he was trying to act he was trying to defend a person that was more capable of defending themselves than he was. It seemed like an insult to the girls skills and he wondered how she would react to it.
[red]"My name? I suppose i should say, it's only fair to know the name of your killer after all. Madarame Ikkaku, 11th squad, 3rd seat. I've no need to know your name arrancar, so howz about we get this over with."[/red]
Ikkaku drew Hokutosei and grinned at the two of them. He was tempted to just attack but he thought he would test there endurance first. He looked at the two of them for a moment and then let out a huge burst of pure reiatsu.
Samuii crossed her arms and smirked as the other Arrancar stepped in front of her. It was obvious that she was the stronger of the two, more capable of fighting against this Shinigami, but she didn't stop him. Hey, if he wanted to die first, then so be it.
She listened to the Shinigami's response. Madarame Ikkaku, hm?
"The name of my killer, you say?"Samuii asked, "Isn't that a little cocky?"
But before she could say more, Ikkaku sent out a huge burst of reiatsu. Samuii was surprised at just how powerful this man was. She understood why he was so cocky. She brought her arm up to her face, trying to sheild it from the powerful reiatsu, even skidding back some. She wondered just how the other Arrancar would deal with something so powerful.
Hyoto strained himself not to show any signs of being affected by this Shinigami's reiatsu. It didn't work. He almost buckled under the pue power of this Shinigami. Had it not been for being exposed to Aizen's for so long, he probably wouldn't be standing, but he was. "Well, thats.... thats some powerful... powerful reiatsu you... got there..." Hyoto squeezed out, sweat pouring from his brow. He glanced over to his "partner", finding that he'd slid back some ways. "Well, I suppose theres no fooling around now." He said, breathing heavily. He drew his zanpakuto, pointing it at this Ikkaku person. "My name is Hyoto Kanteshu, whether you want to know it or not. Now tell me, Ikkaku Madarame, who do you serve, and who serves you?"
A wolf in the early morning wouldn't be strange but it having clothes on caused some confusion, if one saw it. This wolf ran through the park despising Hollow's from devouring pluses. When the pluses saw the wolf fly in front of the the raising sun they were scared at first but thanked the wolf in the end. As the wolf vanished from sight he felt a raise in reiastu not to far away. He followed the raising energy, hiding his own as he smelt three figures. Two were definitely Arrancar, while the other was a Shinigami, who had a scent of a girl this wolf knew, Ishi. As he moved though the park he found a good vantage point to where he could watch without being seen. He moved quietly behind a series of trees, unaffected by the high reiastu, and watched.
Ikkaku grinned as he watched the two of them struggle under the pressure of his reiatsu. There was no point playing around he wanted to get into the gritty stuff, the fun stuff. Ikkaku looked at the male arrancar as he asked yet more question, this was a waste of time, as much as he liked to draw out a fight he didn't want to procrastinate any longer, he wanted to fight! Ikkaku looked at the two arrancars with his katana in his left hand and the sheathe in his right and ran towards the two arrancar at break nexk speed and swiped madly at the mans chest.
