With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
He grimaced, jumping over yet another tentacle. With every tentacle that fell, more took it's place to protect the main body. He needed to find an opening before his poison dried, and that would be incredibly soon.
Gritting his teeth, the lowly shinigami spontaneously ran into a patient's room, looking as if he was running away from the battle. What the mistress thought of this was not his main priority, he had to think of something quick.
Slamming the door behind him and putting his back to it, his breathing speed increased at a panicked pace, and he began to sweat. To be honest, it looked like he had lost all will to fight. His spirtual pressure fluctuated dramatically, and his heart rate quickened. It was something the hollow most definetly felt.
Sensing the area of the shinigami, it gave off what looked like a crude smile and shot a tentacle in the direction, knowing that he was too scared to avoid it.
The art of an assassin is deception.
A the last moment, the lowly Shinigami dropped onto his back and out of harm's way, tentacle flying through as he shot upward, paralyzing it immediately. Using the shock that he bought for himself, he allowed his spiritual pressure to spike and put it into his feet and flashstepping to the top side of the tentacle and darting along it, moving at incredible speeds that made his near invisible to the naked eye.
Finally, he reappeared in front of the main body, his gauntlet raised at the hollow's face.
"Sayonara." He murmured, before firing a dart directly into it's roaring mouth.
After the dart had landed, the Shinigami immediately jumped back, avoiding tentacles for a full three seconds before they all fell, limp and uselss.
"Excellent work, you three. Finish it off, and we'll call this mission complete," she said with her arms crossed.
It was the work of Kamair that caught her attention mainly. Unlike the other two, he wasn't afraid to use measured strength to speed up the fight, and reduce collateral damage. Of course she didn't say it directly. Not in front of the group.
It didn't matter if it was no secret that he was the highest ranking member, or not, she didn't like giving special praise to anyone. It didn't matter if she did or not. She didn't need her team turned into a brood of puppies vying for attention. It shouldn't be to impress her that people get better, it should be a personal drive.
Still, she rewarded talent one way or another. That'd come later, though.
As soon as the dust cleared and the hollow had fallen limp, Kamair shunpou'd out of sight, reappearing as far from the hollow's main body as he could. He was panting slightly, winded from his manuevers. In a couple of seconds, the two other shinigami crashed through the floor, the girl immediately walking up to the hollow's main body and executing it.
"That's what you get for messing with Squad Two!" The female announced proudly, she looked about and finally saw Kamair, hunched over and breath ragged. "And where were you the entire fight huh? Gosh, you are useless, making the two of us do all the work."
He mentally sighed, but he was used to this by now. Standing up to full height while hiding his shikai behind his back, he forced it to return to it's sealed Zanpaktou and easily sheathed it.
"My apologies." Kamair said quietly, without a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "I'm afraid I was unable to keep up."
"Pssh, pathetic." She sounded before turning her head away from him. The other shinigami said nothing, which led Kamair to believe that he was possibly a mute.
"C'mon!" She chirped again, "Race y'all to the gate, I can't wait for a hot bath."
With that, the two shinigami dissapeared, leaving Kamair to linger about the slowly dissapearing body of the hollow. It was habit for the man never to leave the body of a hollow unattended, one could never know that the thing was dead until after it had fully dissapated.
When it finally had done so, he simply grunted and fell to a knee, clutching his side. Apparently he had gotten severely nicked in the heat of battle, and now that his adrenaline was gone, the pain was kicking in.
With a clenched jaw, Kamair looked down and his wound and saw blood seeping through his fingers.
"Damnit." He muttered, immediately ripping off his sleeve and making a makeshift bandage.

"You did good work," Soifon said to the lone shinigami that lingered to make sure the job was done. That was all she said. Her face was serious, and she almost sounded like she just tossed it out, but there was something... something that hinted she meant it.
"Lets get back to the Seireitei," She said, then turned to head back to the gate at a casual pace, but she lingered to make sure the job was -really- done here.
He froze for a moment as his captain addressed him, making him suddenly forget how to breathe. Kamair looked up to see her serious expression before bowing his head deeply.
"Mistress is far too kind to this lowly servant." Kamair said gratefully, somewhat flustered at the newfound attention. "I did nothing that I wasn't trained to do."
Effectively stopping the bleeding from his wound, the winded man got to his feet, somewhat limping towards the gate. Before stepping through, he took a moment to survey his surroundings and the damage he had undoubtedly caused.
There mere multiple holes in the floor and ceiling, most of which had knocked out the ceiling lights that sent out random sparks across the hallway. By this time some of the patients and nurses had already began to leave their rooms, confusion sweeping across their faces.
Damnit. Kamair thought to himself, if he had been quicker, he could have prevented this. Cursing himself mentally, he bowed before his captain once more.
"Please forgive this servant for his recklessness." Kamair said, eyes trained on the floor. "Lets get back to the Seireitei."
"Y-yes mistress." He stumbled, before walking through the gate.

Soifon followed Kamair as he walked into the Gate without a word.
She wasn't going to openly support such humility. She didn't like it, but she wouldn't correct him, rather she'd just absorb it. Yeah, let these subordinates grow however they will. If they annoyed her, she'd let them know when they've crossed the line.
The doors closed behind the pair, and they were gone. The rest of the humans weren't her concern, so let them clean up.
And the ninja hit squad was gone from the mortal realm.
