Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Hello people this is Saix- your former Staff speaking. now before i note my opinions i'd like to tell you i met both hikaru and ake before hand and they are wondrous people and i hope they do good things for this site.
1.) Vampires may not be a part of bleach but everyone who dislikes them on said beforehand has barely been here save for shadow. Me,Matthew, and various others all ran vampires. not only because we saw bounto in the end as non-Favorited chars. but it added a little individuality to our site. Your right this isnt twilight Ake nor did we try to make it that way. Twilight is prolly one of the worst representations of vampires ever. They had their own plot somewhat alike the quincy another race that the shinigami deemed dangerous and had to eliminate. Except for the few individuals who rebuilt the race.
I say keep them but leave it to vote. Although with most of our old member base gone it will be mostly new people voting who find the thought of vampires stupid. <-- which is a bias.
2)Rules: Our rules were created so we could call people out on things that no one seems to care about. similar to the power parameters rule post i created. If someone god forbid stood up to a captain out of arrogance and fought. even if the captain decided to play around a captain using shunpo on a much weaker target the person wouldn't even be able to see their movements much less block their sword or their strikes. Alot of people are wimps and cant take hits like a normal warrior and will sum up a great rp'ers post and will simply integrate everything they did into a bunch of dodging which is ridiculous. Which is why i made that rulings post. because people will do whatever they feel like doing unless told otherwise. Thats why the summary of rules was made up.
3.) Power tier: you've got it a little twisted. In our current tier, power was determined by rank. in our more flexible tier people abused it and tried to jump tier way too often. so we had to crack down on it. and make it tighter with smaller exceptions. abilities werent based on post count only shikai/bankai/ress/mask control/ were the amount of abilities you had were based on training posts whether solo or group and once the training was completed you had a staff member approve it. since only me and veral could accept apps aside from matt it was usually one of the 3. But in the end it was the drama that shot the site down along with personal issues but not the tier nor rules.
4.) Site plot- I can tell you much of the plot just from having been here for awhile. In a short summary this takes place after the battle with aizen we aren't in our own separate Bleach universe. After the battle much has changed and many have died. the dead includes some favorited canons like aizen,gin, and tousen. Practically all of the original espada are dead Ulquiorra and grimmjow were kept alive due to vote because of their character content which was needed to bring drive to the story. The vampires have their own plot. The spot of captain-commander was left open as yamamoto was sent to 0-Div. and the 5th squad had become integrated with the kido corps. The vizards themselves are still secluded in their own nitch but have expanded into the 7 vizard tribunal allowing their army to grow exponentially. The espada still exist but are under the rule of the primera. They still own the hougyouku which at present time is the only item capable of regularly creating arrancar or vizards. While our event was going to start soon i can send you the email of what my plot idea for matt was meant to be. he enjoyed and had a ton of ideas in his head but sadly it came to this.
5. Crossovers- Im not totally against this while i rather not have a "bleach site" become kingdomhearts,FF, or any other anime. People like chars from video games whether it be name appearance or abilities and we cant just say no. If they by term "bleachify" their chars. in power and aspect and also history wise. then it should be perfectly fine.

2. Our power tier is proven to work amazingly well, incorporating post quality and site activity in order to rank up and gain new abilities. Not to mention make fights fair.
3. That's not a plot, that's a setting. Plot has to have some form of conflict in it.
4. Having appearances and names (to an extent) is fine. But they need to be their own characters and have Bleach abilities that aren't clones of the originals.
There are going to be a lot of changes happening here. Many many many things you all are accustomed to, familiar with, and even liked are going to be re-worked.
In short: With this site, you get what you give. You put a lot of effort into the site, you'll get more. If you wait for the staff to pamper you for some reason (which we don't do, even to our own), you won't get shit.

1.Yea vampires aren't original in real life expectactions which is completely understandable. but if not for this additional class matt created a bunch of one-sided hollow vs Shinigami with vizard intermixing is boring. At least with vampires or any other customized race we could throw something in the mix and make it exciting with twists and turns. We cant stay pure bleach forever as Tite Kubo is unpredictable. We can't rely on him alone to write out a base story for us to follow especially since the story is nowhere near completed yet. It's still only my opinion to keep the vampires here solely for the reason they add a little more spice to the dull flavor of just shini vs hollow.
2. I've seen your power tier since I've been to rebirth. while i understand this is Ake's site now we just went through a major change already. if we show instability this will drop the member base drastically. and while you can say the people ho wanna stay here will stay you cant just expect the people who do want to stay to constantly keep having to change multiple amounts of times to suit your needs to make it easier for you. even me myself had to change tiers while it toned me down and made the majority of my chars weaker i did it cuz it needed to be done. bu multiple but most people arent that agreeing and asking them to change multiple times over a short period of time isn't just morale dropping it shows people this site isn't stable either. remember the reason it's like this was personal issues and drama not a site problem.
3. Like i said I gave a summary of what the plots supposed to be. We would've had an initial plot had our event not been ruined due to laziness.you can't introduce a plot without a setting or certain atmosphere beforehand. Our event woul've had the aforementioned conflict. like i mentioned in my previous message i can send you what the plot for our 1st event was going to be.
4. I have no problem with that considering the only crossover Char I made was Saix from KH and i made him into a vampire in which he folloiwed their rule settings so there was never a problem. This will concern others way more than me.
Okay guys there seems to be a bit of debate here. both sides have valuable ideas and insight into this site. Saix is a former Admin, he saw what worked for our members, and what didnt. thats important to members( like myself and others) to have people who are respected vouch for us. With that said Temple is a new admin and your ideas are obviously important now. You have seen ideas that work and can obviously add to the site.
I like the idea of a vampire/other race to give the site more depth, however if noone is going to rp with them there is no reason to make them in the universe. So there needs to be a vote to put something like that in. Or ask people if members would rp with these characters.
I personally like the power tier its well set up and rewards experienced rpers, while not being too hard on newer players. Advancement was based on rp skill cause you had to challenge the person above you, so characters werent overpowered either. However, if new admin has a system that works I personally am open to it. But, I like this site, its not perfect obviously but its different.
Admin is going to do what admin wants in the end. But I would like our own site not a carbon copy of someone elses site.
As for the plot, if it is changed then the available characters positions and people all need to be checked out. Obviously this can be done but it needs to be made VERY clear to all members whats going on.
My final thought then Ill stop is this. While I know admin is doing what it needs to do to update the site and make everything work, members will leave if they cant post, so while posting now may not do anything for the plot or advancement, it will keep up interest, let newer people get some experience and show who are the better rpers, so Admin can help make decisions as who should be in higher positions, such as captains and such.
1: I didn't really care for vampires. They didn't affect me, so I wasn't bothered.
2: Again with the power tier, I just did what I was told. The older one was simpler, the new one, confusing...
3: Plots were alright, but that Open Destiny idea was pretty stupid on Matt's part, and he's done some good stuff... When you do make plots, you should be sure to keep them simple...
4: If you want to base your character off a crossover, that should be fine, and maybe one or two of their abilities, but leave it at that. Make the rest your own.
5: And before you tell me to shut the hell up, I have one last thing, a suggestion if you will. There is a simple solution for power posters. DISABLE post counts in the categories that aren't relevant to RPing. So the Other category? Just disable post counts, people can still post, just not get any closer to their higher levels...
Let me clarify something for everyone. I'm not interested in making a "carbon copy" of another site. Just because we take some aspects from a different site doesn't necessarily mean I'm copying it. God knows I don't want to run two sites that are exactly the same. It's just by through experience I have found what works and what doesnt. Also keep in mind that everything can be modified and changed if we find something isn't working.
All I'm asking for is a chance here people. It's going to be a big adjustment for everyone including myself and I really need you guys to try to be supportive of me and the other staff. I'm here to HELP you.
well still new here and i agree with both akesato and STLD, just to say something i've noticed that when i spent many hours on the site just going through some of the thread in the SS sections, threads in there doesn't last very long and too many ppl are being absence (though everyone do have their own life), also i've noticed that some ppl uses the same pic for their created character (like myself and two others are using the same one!?) maybe if possible this can be checked over as well. as for the crossovering i've havn't really check them all but just the sound of it alone is irrataing, yes we love the characters in other animes and games but we all have minds to think. Back to the threads it all seems a bit unorganized, too many things going on in one thread that contains a small location but yet there are like 30 ppl in there having their own battle fights or other stuff but yet it's not affecting those around them? i admit that i may be whining alot here but honestly i expected this rpg site to be a bit more realistic, ex. too many ppl knowing bankai or having the ability to use flashy moves, i mean all the character that i've came up with i intended them to be support character to make the game more realistic, ex. a healer which there aren't many of. i believe that too many ppl wants to be the hero, i recommend that we should have only a few heroes and the rest be supportors (supportors like they're there to assist but can't really hurt the bad ass opponent, ex healers are only there to observe and heal not grab there weapon and kill. it may not sound fun but i'm positive that we can all work it out. also i think too many ppl spend too much time just chatting with one another instead of rping, i mean isn't it the mod jobs to start topic threads or somethin? (GOD I hope this make sense)
It's a bit odd, something i've noticed. I'm not pointing any names, but usually the people with a large post count vote "no" against the power tier, and the newer members vote "yes".
