Name: Roy Dylandy
Skill Level: Swordsmanship: Advanced
Skill Level: Agility and Speed: Intermediate
Skill Level: Hand-to-hand: Intermediate
On the surface, Roy is a decidedly shallow and self-absorbed man, infamous among many of his colleagues and students alike for the selfish and narcissistic aura he gives off. Easily as arrogant as his some of his young protégés, Roy would act in an ostentatious manner and appears to act mostly out of self-interest rather than any sort of philanthropy.Appearance:
He comes off to most as a sort of cocky lay about, shirking most of his duties and delegating his paperwork to others while sitting idly at his desk with an amused smile on his face as he procrastinates, but quick to take action when it appears that there is glory to be gained.
Roy also has the reputation of being an incorrigible womanizer, spending much of his time cavorting about town with various women and wooing several of the servicewomen with his abundant charm, good looks and charisma. This adds another facet to his unpopularity among the students and teachers, many of whom have had their sweethearts and crushes ignore them due to their crush on Roy.
However, while these traits do have a place in his real personality, much of his outward persona can perhaps be considered an intentional façade perfectly designed to cause those unfamiliar with him to underestimate his remarkable intelligence and ability. Roy is an exceptional tactician, well-versed in various strains of combat theory and particularly talented in the realms of surreptitious information-gathering, covert operations and enemy ensnarement. At the core, he is a remarkably devoted educator whose primary focus and personal duty is to his friends and students. Though he hides it well behind a veil of cynicism and self-importance, Roy is a man who cares deeply about the people who trust and support him, and goes to great lengths to ensure their safety and well-being, even at the risk of his own.
As a man with considerable power, Roy considers himself a protector to those without and acts accordingly, earning the staunch loyalty of his most trusted compatriots. Unfortunately, his self-imposed position as protector has caused him to display a penchant toward stubbornness in regards to his pride on the field and a fiery temper, both of which have been shown to cloud his judgment in certain situations.
Roy is a very handsome young looking man, for someone of his age, and this only adds to his charm. Always clean shaved face with his long curling brown hair that often comes in front of his face, and is seen brushing it away from his face. His emerald green eyes often remind him of his Irish home where he grew up with his family, where the grass fields were never ending green. He stands fairly tall, at six foot three, nearly towering over most other people. He has a lean muscular body, that has many small scars from his days on the battle field, none of which touched his face or back. This is because he often used his snipping skills and never turned his back on a fight. He may have a lean but he still weighs hundred ninety pounds. His skin is lightly peach in tone with no freckles or blemishes. On his chest is a pentacle cross from when his teacher shot him with his arrow in order to regain his Quincy powers.
He typically wears his Quincy cross on a leather bracelet on his left wrist. His style of clothing is usually very comfortable while stylish; red t-shirt covered by a black sports jacket, a pair of blue jeans, and black boots. He wears a pair of fingerless biker gloves when he rides his motorcycle and a red helmet. He has a pair of dog tags daggling from his neck which usually opens up a conversation with the ladies.
1992 HARLEY-DAVIDSON FAT BOY, Beautiful flawless dark crimson red with black ghost flames that turn into a firing crow on the front of the Harley. Some noticeable features are the high performance S&S carbs, Jims chrome lifter blocks, step tune open hooker headers, dyno tuned motor, chrome wing arm calipers, all custom brake reservoir, air ride kit, la pera seat, braided cables, fat chrome spokes. His helmet matches his bike, being red with a black fire crow designs on its sides.

As a child, Roy had always shown to be spiritually aware, whether it was interacting with spirits or manifesting a small Quincy bow. When he started to show Quincy powers, that’s when the Hollows came. They attacked his family and would have killed him as well if it wasn’t for his teacher. Then old man killed the Hollows with a single shot each and took Roy under his care. He never told Roy his name, but he had been referred to as teacher for the longest time. He taught Roy every thing he knew, from Seele Schneiders to Quincy Bow techniques.
Seele Schneider Expert: Due to his military background, Roy has be been trained with several forms of bladed weapons. Since the Seele Schneider’s resemble a combat knifes, he often uses them for close range combat.
Effects: He is able to use several techniques involving Seele Schneider:
Sprenger (破芒陣, shupurenga; German for "Explosion", Japanese for "Ripping Grass Formation"): This technique uses five Seele Schneiders to create a pentagon-shaped seal which, when activated, causes a massive explosion within its borders. The Seele Schneiders function as accumulators, gathering the necessary amount of spirit particles to create the explosion, with the liquid inside a Gintō acts as the trigger.
Reishi Collection: The Seele Schneider's second ability is to collect reishi during combat by absorbing the opponents attacks. The more spiritual pressure and energy they release, the more powerful the Quincy wielding it becomes. It allows an opponents spirit particles to become the user's.
Sword & Arrow Functionality: Since a physical high-speed impact can be destroyed by a spiritual high-speed impact, the Seele Schneider can do more damage to someone physically strong, when they physically attack, than when using a spirit-based attack. The Seele Schneider makes for a powerful blade in combat, but can do even more damage as an arrow.
Limitations: Though he has mastered normal military combat knives, the Seele Scheiders prove to be more difficult to handle. He can’t use more then five and usually reserves them for the Sprenger technique or for when someone comes in for close combat.
Sprenger: There's also a potentially-fatal drawback. The preparations needed to successfully execute this technique, combined with the charging time for the Seele Schneiders, make Sprenger's use in battle impractical unless the user has a partner that can stall their opponent in order to buy time. It is one of the most powerful Quincy attacks seen so far.
Quincy Bow & Spirit Arrows:
Beanna Camphor (Guardian Crow):Roy’s Quincy bow looks more solid then other quincy bows, it has a metallic blue appearance and the tips of have a feather like pattern that look like crow wings. It is formed from his Quincy cross on his bracelet, which looks like an Irish cross, and is capable of willfully changing its size from five feet to two feet and can fire multiple shots at once.
Quantity of Arrows: His arrows are dark blue arrows. He can fire a total of 800 arrows in succession without stopping, while they are small they pack a good amount of power.
Path Control: Roy has become so skilled in firing his arrows that he can control the path they take to a certain length of distance and time.
Limitations: He can control the path of his arrows up to 25 yards, no more then six at once, and for up to a minute at a time.

As a child growing up was nice and fun. Roy had a loving family, a caring mother with a no nonsense attitude and a father who was a former Irish Army Ranger but had a heart of gold.
He would often get some military like training from his dad, which usually consisted of gun cleaning to basic survival. He mom was always there to make sure he got an education, being a former teacher she had high hopes for Roy. He never really told his parents about the spirits he saw, the first time it happened they said it must be the wee people messing with him.
He knew better has he grew up, he found that they were human beings once and not just some tricks played by leprechauns. It was on his seventh birthday when he started to develop his Quincy powers. It stated with simple during one of his fathers training days, they were practicing Roy’s accuracy by firing arrows. When he held that bow, it felt natural, and when he fired that arrow he saw the reiastu form around it causing an amazing light show, but it faded off once he lost concentration. He wanted to know more about this lights and tried his best to reproduce it.
After several months of practicing, Roy finally managed to create a bow made from reiastu without the physical bow. His parents thought he was practicing his form, but in truth he was doing far more then that. It was that night when the Hollows attacked his home and killed his parents. He couldn’t do anything to stop them, for every one he killed two took its place. They just played with him tell he came, the man who Roy would refer to as teacher. He shot every last one of them with a single blue arrow, and as they faded from this world Roy sat next to his dead parents. He took Roy under his wing and held him close as they burned Roy’s home has a ceremonial cleaning for his parents souls.
After several years with this man, Roy managed to learn more then just basic training. He learned how to manipulate his arrows and bow far beyond his imagination. It was own his sixteenth birthday that his teacher thought he was ready to start his senrai training. Thanks to his early survival training, he managed to pass the requirements.
When he returned, his teacher trained him to further understand his Quincy culture. He explained the history that they had, and talked about the attack from the Soul Society. Roy didn’t know how to react about this, for one he was a Quincy and felt hurt about the genocide. On the other hand he can understand why the Shinigami did it, the balance needed to be fixed. His teacher was the same as him, seeing both sides of the issue without choosing a side.
Years past as Roy devolped his Quincy skills, it was then that his teacher died. Leaving everything to Roy, he felt the felt that Roy should honor his parents. He never really found out his teachers name, so his grave is unmarked at the burned remains of his family home.
After his teacher death, Roy felt that he should honor his father by joining the Irish Army Rangers. With his fathers reputation he was able to enlist with little effort. This did not save him from the harsh training that lied ahead, with the none stop training where he was taught special forces tactics such as long range reconnaissance patrolling, surveillance, intelligence gathering, search tactics, and ambush organization.
Roy passed another selection exam, where he was sent on a further six-month ranger skills course. This course includes long range reconnaissance and survival training, unarmed combat, anti-terrorist and close quarters combat skills, advanced first aid, advanced combat shooting and parachuting. Upon passing this selection course and probationary period they then earn the right to wear the prestigious Green beret.
Some other Rangers felt jealous about Roy’s progress, and tried to make his life a living hell. He didn’t take this like they thought, he excepted every challenge they presented to him and passed. He moved up in ranks much faster then they thought and made it to a leading position before they were shipped of to hostage missions. He used all his Quincy skills to protect his comrades with his superior sniping skills. He lead them on several ambush missions and after which he was honorable discharged. They never really explained why they discharged him, but this gave him the opportunity to go to college.
He joined the best college he could afford, and decided to become a teacher like his mother. He spent several years learning how to develop his teaching ability tell he got his masters degree. He started off as a middle school history teacher tell he became a high school teacher.
After several more years he got bored with his career in Ireland and felt the urge to move to Japan. He chose Japan due to the fact that his teacher came from Japan.
He studied the language, writing, and applied for several transfers. It was when he got the job offer as a school counselor at Karakura high school. He then took what little money he had, bought a one way ticket, and moved. He couldn’t wait for this new life he was about to occur.
Roy stood on his balcony of his new apartment, in his new town, and smiled. He was about to start a new job here and he couldn’t wait to help those young faces. “I hope your proud, mom. You too, dad.” He said as he looked toward the starry night sky, and saw a shooting star. He hoped that that was them giving their approval of his life choice.
After a few minutes, he felt a surge of reiastu that was familiar. “Hollow.” He looked around and found where the energy was coming from. He vanished from his balcony, and reappeared at the park. He looked around and saw a small child running for his life. He wasn’t an average boy; he had a chain coming from his chest, that’s when he knew this boy was a plus. Suddenly a crash was heard and Roy’s attention and he spotted the cause; an ugly toad like hollow.
He watched at first, seeing if any Shinigami would stop this but none came. He quickly formed his bow, the blue metallic bow formed around his cross on his right wrist.
He couldn’t help but think about what his teacher said to him when he first formed Beanna Camphor. “All bows are unique when a Quincy becomes strong enough, but never have I seen a bow like yours.” He didn’t know if it was a complement or not, but he was certain to use this bow to protect those who needed it.
As the Hollow shot his sticky tongue toward the boy, Roy had fired a black arrow through its grossest tongue he has ever seen. Once it finally felt the pain of losing it tongue, it screamed its terrible scream. The boy turned to see what had happened, and saw the tongue flapping on the ground not far from him. He was confused until he saw another dark blue arrow pierce the Hollow’s face causing it to fade. He looked where the arrow came from but saw no one.
Roy smiled at his result bringing back memories of his time in the Rangers and spotted the boy looking for where the arrow came from. He jumped down where the boy could see him, and waved at him. color=blue]“Hey kid, you okay?” He put on his poker face, trying not to seem to eager but also trying to keep the boy calm.
The boy looked over to Roy and hesitatingly walked over to him. “Y-you did that? That was awesome.” The boy looked really excited as he went on about the events that just happened. Roy was a little overwhelmed by this, but felt a sense of pride as the boy talked about him like a hero. He suddenly felt another presence coming their way, this time not a Hollow.
He looked down at the kid and gave him a quick two finger salute. “Got to go kid, but don’t fret looks like your ticket for a better life is on its way.” He said this and vanished from where he stood. The boy was confused at first tell the Shinigami came and asked. “What happened to the Hollow?”
“A really cool guy came and shot it down with his awesome arrows.” The boy said as the Shinigami gave him a strange look. The Shinigami then performed a Konso on the boy, and before he left he looked around wondering about the strange reiastu residue that lingered.
Roy watched from a perched position, in a nearby tree as the shinigami tried to find him. He smiled realizing that he couldn't be found and vanished once he felt the time was right.
