Zaru watched in awe as his opponent's reiatsu jumped extraodinarily and smiled. He had finally pushed him to shikai. Despite the fact that there was no chance Zaru would be able to hold his own in his current state he still felt triumphant for pushing him to a higher level. Zaru's awe changed to suprise as he saw his opponent's sword disapear to be replace by nothing. His reiatsu was much greater and almost overwhelming but the only thing he saw was Azuma in a defensive stance with two fingers pointed for each hand.
What is this? A joke or something? Zaru said out loud to no one in particular. He knew there was no way that was all there was to Azuma's shikai but he still felt angered by the lack of a visible weapon. He thought better of it though and decided to keep his distance. He fired one quick/weaker Raikyoshou, shunpoed to Azuma's right and fired another, and shunpoed to Azuma's left and fired one last one to make three raikyshou's flying through the air towards Azuma he then shunpoed a few feet behind Azuma, charged and fired a strong Raikyoshou towards Azuma, this was going to be near one of his last attack because he was starting to run low on reiatsu so he needed to try and take Azuma by suprise.

Azuma watched as the first blast of energy fired towards him, suddenly there was a second then a third. Quickly Azuma steadied himself, as Zaru appeared to fire the last blast Azuma shifted his position squaring his shoulders bringing his two hands in towards him before thrusting them out sending an invisible blast of energy with a ten-meter radius. Quickly he spun towards Zaru his wall slamming into the raikyshous the energies colliding he sped towards Zaru. With the first step his right hand came across his body in an upwards-diagonal slicing motion sending an invisible crescent blade of energy at the remaining energy of the stronger raikyoshou. As he charged his left hand came across his waist sending another blade at Zaru’s stomach. He charged on his hands swiping at Zaru sending criss-crossing blades of energy towards Zaru’s chest.
(OoC: Hey just wanted to explain the blades a bit, they are a blast of invisible energy with a crescent shape and they are as long as the line drawn by his swipe.)

Zaru watched as his raikyoshous closed in on Azuma but then watched as his opponent made sweeping motions with his hands. Zaru couldn't tell what he was doing but then watched in shock as his first three blasts were struck down before reaching him by seemingly nothing. Then Zaru watched as more motions were made stopping his charged Raikyoshou in mid air. Whatever was stopping his blasts he could not see but he didn't want to stand still to find out. He leaped to the right to remove himself from what he believed to be the path of the invisible blasts, but he underestimated the width of the blasts. He felt he was safely out of the blasts' path until he felt two of them make deep gashes on his left arm and mid section. Zaru yelled in pain and fell to one knee, clutching his left arm. He looked up and felt for the first time during the battle, he felt a trace of fear. He knew at close range tai-jitsu he was no match for Azuma and his sword fighting worked at first but he had found his pattern and was already able to counter it. To compensate, Zaru had attempted to keep attacking with medium to long range attacks but now that was an even worse option...there was no longer any choice in the matter.
Zaru stood up, still holding his left arm and zanpakuto in his right hand. He planted his zanpakuto into the floor so it was able to stand on its own and placed his right hand behind the left side of his mask and flipped a small switch. The mask dimmed to a barely visible yellow and shut down. Then Zaru relaxed and all of his reiatsu swarmed around his body. There were no more restrictions on his reiatsu and his Shikai was ready to break. He picked up the zanpakuto and lifted it to the sky. Gray clouds formed and spread from where Zaru's zanpakuto was pointed and lightning and thunder were seen and heard from the clouds. "Congratulations once again. You've pushed me to the edge and this is my reward to you. Bankai!!" Three bolts of thick yellow lightning flew down from the sky and struck Zaru but did not vanish until 10 seconds after Zaru's call. When the lightning finally ended and the surge of reiatsu subsided, Zaru stood now with new found resolve. In his right hand he held an H shaped blade with two half-lightning bolts, each five feet in length, making the legs and a hilt similar to the Shikai's connnecting them. In his left hand he held a large, grey, circular shield 5 and a half feet in diameter bearing a crest of the side view of a long dragon. Zaru sealed his massive, unrestricted reiatsu into his sword and shield. "Ikazuchiryu Raijin....... I wanted to go longer without using Bankai, but it was inevitable. Now I will attack with all my strength." Zaru raised his blade (2 feet in width) and fired a quick/weaker Raikyoshou toward his Azuma, traveling with slightly greater speed and much greater power than its shikai version.
(OOC: there is a picture and description of everything for my bankai on the link in my sig. )

Azuma was surprised as Zaru released his bankai the blast coming down and transforming his opponent, his reiatsu surging around him, the very air itself seemed to have metallic electrified taste. Thoughts of strategy went through his head, he had released his bankai meaning the fight had reached its peak, it would seem the man has no more ways to raise his power. At the same time the injured ribs and stress of the fight would get to Azuma eventually. With his mind quickly adapting to the new situation Azuma decided to go with an offensive strike.
”The Snake is a particular favorite of mine Azuma”
With a surge another blast of lightning came surging towards Azuma. Expecting him to open with the lightening blast as he had done with his last transformation Azuma tensed his arms cutting across sending two crescent blades of energy surging into his blast. As the two blades released he jumped up and over the lightning attack sending three invisible crescent blades at his opponent. Before he Shunpoed to Zaru’s right.
Off the bat when he appeared Azuma’s stance shifted his right leg sliding across the ground in front of his body as his weight shifted back. The swipe sent a cresent blade of energy along the ground while at the same time his hands shot out three forwards thrusts sending weaker but faster spears of invisble energy towards Zaru’s sword arm, right knee and throat.
(Note all his energy attacks are invisible, ie. spears and crescent blade. And the stance he takes is Snake stance.)

Zaru watched as Azuma sent two more of the invisible blades to stop his first attack and sent three more hurdling towards him when he jumped. Zaru fixed his gaze on where his opponent was and then turned his head to his right when he shunpoed. He had expected him to shunpo based on his assumption that he wouldn't fire just one attack straight on from the front. He watched as his opponents foot slid in a crescent path towards Zaru along the ground and then saw the floor being torn by what seemed to be an invisible blade like what he had "saw" before. Zaru watched the floor being torn up and noticed the width of the marks it made was equal to the width of the arc he had made with his foot. "That must be how he determines the width of his attacks. Good" Zaru thought to himself with satisfaction. He then saw Azuma make three front thrusts with his hands toward Zaru and he took a wild guess these blasts were somewhat similar to the crescent blades from before. Zaru leaped forward towards where the first three blades had been launched from to avoid the last 4 blades Azuma had launched. He felt more satisfaction as he felt nothing cut him meaning he had dodged the last attacks. Zaru then moved his shield in front of him and charged reiatsu into it. The reiatsu formed an invisible barrier over and past his shield sending the original crescent blades above and below the shield making two large cuts in the floor and one in the ceiling. Zaru then landed, spund and turned to face his opponent again. Zaru was happy to be in Bankai, he had always loved the rush of power and energy he got from it. But he felt a bit of tiredness from the previous fighting and knew he didn't have time to play around. Zaru leaped forward, shield first in case of any attacks headed his way, towards Azuma and brought his large blade down vertically towards his head.
(OoC: I'm sorry if the shield barrier seems god-modish. The barrier only reflects reiatsu based attacks so no solid projectiles or actual blades. Plus if the attack is strong enough it can break the barrier and hit Zaru. The defensive is kind of a way to make up for Zaru's lack of a diverse offense.)

(OoC: No the shields cool J, and sorry about the long delay I was moving outta my dorms back home and life got really hecktic I should have posted something on the temp leave, my bad.)
Zuma watched in amazement as his blast are deflected then, suddenly Zaru leapt up at him. Needing to buy sometime to figure out a new strategy Azuma’s hand flung out towards Zaru throwing a star shaped pillow of energy at him as Azuma called out ”Tsuriboshi”. A few inches from Zaru, The tips of the pillow fire out sticking to the walls ceiling and floor of the dojo to create a net. As the tendrils fire Azuma drops and rolls right to move out of the way of Zaru.
As Azuma rolled a stern and forceful voice spoke into his mind, ”Azuma, the blasts were deflected we’ll need to use more indirect measures”.
Quickly Azuma’s hand flew out towards Zaru sending a blade of invisible energy as his hand reached the peak of it’s extension his other hand came flying out grabbing his outstretched arms bicep he called out ”Shakkaho”. As the blast and blade flew towards Zaru, Azuma’s out stretched arm shot forward sending a spear following his attack.
Finally Azuma shunpoed to a few yards behind Zaru hopefully using the blast of the Shakkaho to distracted him if it didn’t break his barrier or to secure the advantage if it got through. Quickly he let fly four criss-crossing crescent blades flying towards Zaru.

(OoC: it's all good man. I understand and thanks for lettin me keep the shield ) Zaru's blade was about to strike Asuma but he was suddenly dragged backwards by a sticky white star shaped substance pinning him against the wall. Zaru then saw Azuma make another hand movement, probably another crecent, a shakkaho, and a straight thrust toward him. Zaru let loose some of his reiatsu until he was able to break free from the star. Zaru then leapt forward towards the onciming attacks and channeled reiatsu through his shiled again. The attacks were deflected but were enough to stop Zaru's momentum. Zaru lowered his shield to look at Azuma but didn't see him. He spun around in time to see him making more hand swipes but Zaru decided not to use the same strategy. Zaru launched two fast/weaker Raikyoshou's from his blade to collide with the crescents, he did not want to obstruct his vision again with his large shield. He then shunpoed, with suprisingly high speed considering the bulk of his sword and shield, to Azuma's left, spun to face him and swung vertically towards his head once more.

Azuma stood as the blades and bolts collided the blast of opposing energies lighting the room. Suddenly Zaru appeared to his left his sword above coming down towards Azuma’s head, suddenly his left arm shot up swinging across the path of the blade sending a crescent blade of energy into Zaru’s blade as he pushed off and back the energy slamming into the blade and buying him time to push off and backwards.
”NOW Azuma”
With Shain’s voice in his head, Azuma dived just under the swipe of the blade as he called out “Bakuzen”. Midway through the dive Azuma disappeared from sight all traces of his reiatsu completely vanishing as if he was passing through a portal. Now invisible Azuma quickly landed and shunpoed near the ceiling keeping a safe distance from Zaru he waited and watched looking for the right moment, His hands resting on the hilts of the two short daggers on his waist.

Zaru saw Azuma's hand sweep through the air towards Zaru's blade sending a crescent blade toward it. Zaru was taken by suprised when his blade struck the crescent and was sent upwards with incredible force almost sending it out of Zaru's hand. The crescent sliced through the ceiling sending debris falling towards him. Zaru put his shield up to block the debris, it struck his shield and rolled off to the side unlike the crescents which had been competely diverted. Zaru looked up for his opponent but was shocked to see absolutely nothing. Zaru looked around and found nothing and could not feel any sort of reiatsu. He had never been good at feeling reiatsu but the room felt virtually empty save for Zaru. "That's impossible...where are you you sneaky bastard" Zaru said with a smile. "I'll just have to flush you out then." Zaru relaxed for a moment and then tensed his body letting all of his reiatsu flow outward and flow around him. He made sure to hold nothing back and the reiatsu around him grew and grew until the dojo was destroyed opening up the sky above which was now filled with dark grey clouds. Rain began to fall from the clouds steadily. Zaru looked around at the debris and rubble of the former dojo for signs of his opponent.
(OoC: really sorry this took so long man. I had surgery the other day and had to get 8 teeth pulled all of which were under the gums so I've just been layin around for the last couple days)

Azuma felt the rise in spiritual pressure and watched as Zaru’s reiatsu begins to flood the room. It was a surprising tactic, one Azuma had not anticipated but not one that couldn’t be overcome, quickly Azuma shunpoed above Zaru and then charged up towards the ceiling using the reiatsu to propel him through the wooden ceiling. The impact slammed him through the ceiling and up allowing him to regain his composure sitting up. by fpcusing his reiatsu towards the impact he was able to reduce the damage though not without injury his body now covered with small but deep bruises from the ceiling. It had come time to end this, using the collapse of the dojo and the rain to cover the sound Azuma began to chant.
” "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six!", Bakudo 63 Rikujokoro”
As soon as the spell left his lips Azuma shunpoed invisibly appearing behind his opponent his hands snapping back to the two short daggers on his belt, the two soundlessly slicing through the area as he quickly attacked with three distinct slices from the eight inch blades. The first two twin parallel strikes across the back of the left knee and ankle, The final a deep slash along Zaru’s shield arms shoulder blade. As soon as the strikes finished Azuma shunpoed again, appearing both physically and visibly fifteen feet to Zaru's right, he would send three blasts of criss-crossing crescent blades at Zaru if it appeared the fight wasn't over.
