With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Daigoro smirked, and ran his hand down the blade of his zanpakuto, causing it t glow red-and-white. He then swung his arm in a massive arc, creating a cresent with square ends, and making it fly directly towards the blast that Hotaru had sent towards him.
"Seishou Hakaisha!" Daigoro shouted, as the blast and his attack collided. He grinned, and watched Hotaru's attack split into two, and explode.
"It'll take more than that pitiful energy attack to get at me. And now, you just wasted your only chance." Daigoro suddenly flash-stepped, in a direct attack to Hotaru. As soon as he was about 2 metres away, he flash-stepped, apparently faking it. He then returned to the exact spot that he faked from, effectively faking his fake attack.
Unbeknownst to the three, a fourth figure made her way across the night sky. She sensed some strong reiatsu not too far away, and it peaked her interest. That, and the fact that one of them seemed strangely familiar.
Samuii Verano sonidoed about a few hundred feet away. She didn't want to be noticed...yet. Hopping from tree to tree, the red-haired arrancar moved closer and closer to the location of the reiatsu. As she drew nearer, she surpressed her reiatsu as best as she could, and she did it pretty damn well, if she did say so herself. Climbing onto one of the higher branches, Samuii sat down and watched the on-going battle. It was two against one, with two males against one female. Hardly fair, in her books. Her eyes were fixed on a familiar man with long red hair. Racking her brains, she tried to figure out why that particular one was so familiar to her.
She stayed in the tree for a while, watching their banter with amusement. The girl...um...Hotaru (probably) looked like she was having a hard time against the two Shinigami. Wait, she was also a Shinigami. What the hell? Anyway, it was rude to fight a one-on-two fight, especially if that 'one' was a lady. Not cool.
She sonidoed in front of the girl, intercepting the attack head on.
"Whatsa matter, Goro-chan?" she said in a sickeningly sweet voice, "Why so violent?"
She tensed as their two blasts collided then cursed as he effortlessly negated hers. She prepared another blast, but suddenly he used shunpo to attack. She slashed at him with her buyoh, but missed as this was a fake. He appeared again and she repeated, but then he attacked from his initial position.
She gasped and lifted her weapon to defend, however futile it might be. Suddenly an arrancar leaped from the trees and intercepted her attack for her.
She looked at her and blinked a few times. "Goro-chan?" She asked curiously.
She then breathed a sigh of relief when she realized that the arrancar had to be on her side. She held out her hand, and smiled warmly at her.
"Hello...ally? My name is Hotaru Aosawa and you?" She strained to find the best word to describe their....positions.
Daigoro's eyes opened suddenly when the Arrancar appeared in front of him.
Samuii? What the- His eyes then narrowed. Great, a complication.
"Just doing my job, Samuii. All I need to say. Maybe... you should move."
Alright, Ookami. How long do I have left with the seal?
About 25 minutes, Daigoro.
Alright. I need an excuse not to fight her. When I say the word 'way', wait three seconds and re-seal it. Got it?
Understood, Daigoro. It will be done.
Daigoro smirked, and looked at Samuii. He sighed, and pointed his zanpakuto at her.
"If you do not move, I will be forced to take... drastic action. I have specific orders to capture Hotaru and take her back to Soul Society, and I'd appreciate it, if you would please get out of the way!" Daigoro swung his arm back, preparing to strike, and right on cue, Daigoro felt it. The tattoos began to curl away from his eye, and back down his right arm. His arm glowed, and the wolf tattoo reformed on the back of his hand.
Daigoro looked at his arm, feigning surprise.
Well done, old friend. With that, Daigoro re-sheathed his zanpakuto, and turned towards Areno, still looking at the two women behind him.
"It appears that this is going to have to wait for another day, now. I'm sorry about that, but I cannot fight at my full strength for a while, and Areno isn't in any shape to continue." His gaze turned to Samuii, directly. "Get in my way again, and you won't be so lucky, next time." Looking at Hotaru, he smiled. "And don't get yourself killed. 'Til we meet again, ladies." With that, Daigoro Ito flash-stepped away, and to where Areno was lying. He picked him up, and slung him over his shoulder.
"C'mon, mate. Let's get out of here." Daigoro whispered, and flash-stepped away, until he decided that he was far away enough for them not to follow. He re-drew his zanpakuto, and opened up another Senkei Gate. When it had completely opened, Daigoro slowly walked through, following his Hell Butterfly, back to Soul Society.
"Pipe down, child. I'm doing business here." Samuii snapped at the girl. "Now, where was I? Oh, right." she said, placing a hand on her zanpakuto. "Yes, well, two-on-one isn't exactly fair now, is it, Gorogoro? Even though, well, one is...kinda out." she said, looking at the other Shinigami. When he pointed his sword at her, she grabbed the hilt of her sword, ready to pull it out in a second. As he prepared to strike, he stopped.
Something was up. It was that tattoo again. She had seen it before, but didn't really get an explanation for it. It was probably a seal or something, but maybe there was more to it. She losened her grip slightly as the Shinigami took his unconscious friend and disappeared. "Frigging hell." she mumbled, before turning to look at the other one.
"Ally?" she asked, looking at the extended hand, "Don't push it. I'm just here because you looked like you were getting your ass served to you, am I right? So let me ask you something, Hotaru, was it? Why was DelGoro and company attacking you?" she said, locking eyes with the shinigami. Samuii didn't know this girl, nor did she actually care why she was being attacked.
Then again, if it was interesting enough, she might join in. Or she could pretend to be an ally and have some fun...
Hotaru sighed with relief as the man prepared to fight the strange woman who had appeared. She gripped Chika even more and prepared to fire another blast when the two had an interaction.
The man picked up Areno and opened up the Senkaimon to leave. She sighed then prepared to reseal her zanpakuto when the woman told her to pipe down...child. The pipe down wouldn't have bothered her, but then she called her a child.
She was about to retort when she asked why they were attacking her.
"Because...i'm on my way to Soul Society to search for my sister and kill her attaining my revenge!" She said with a new found vigor.
She had forgotten her goal over the course of the battle, but now she remembered and she was ready. She was ready to go, and eliminate her sister...no half sister.
Samuii raised an eyebrow. Revenge? Well, wasn't that interesting...
"Hotaru, right? Well, Hotaru, I guess I'll stick around and help you. Now, why do you want to kill your sister? Aren't family supposed to do...family things? Like...bake and...read?" she asked with obvious difficulty in trying to understand family life (her family died 800+ years ago, so you can't really blame her).
"Oh, I completely forgot. I'm Samuii." she said, taking her two fingers and putting it at her forehead. Flicking them, she let out a mocking salute.
[OC: sorry it took so long and that it's short. My Internetz is retarted, and I just had a brain fart.]
