With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
A rather large garganta had started to open up to a location close to where Raiga’s room was. The reason why they didn’t directly go to her room to check on the hollows was because Franny, in her beast-like form would’ve been to big and caused damage to her quarter. So instead, they land in a hall way large enough to sustain Franny’s size as she changed back to normal.
She looked about the hallway, something seemed wrong. A hollow passed by after a quick glance their way. “Huh?” Franny said out loud, “Um, Raiga. Where did you put the hollows you captured?” she asked wondering why she just saw an injured hollow run in the hallway. Then something started to bother, not just one thing, but a couple things. At first she thought that she forgot some stuff, but couldn’t think of what it was so just shrugged.
What Franny couldn’t remember was that she had left her stolen gigai back behind a bush. Hopefully no one would find it lifeless and go burry it, or do something perverted to it. But if Franny would want it back for the remainder of the festival, she’d have to eventually recall about its whereabouts.
Raiga thought about this. "I sent them to an empty locked room." she said scratching her head as she saw the hollow sneak past. "At least..... I think I did." She dashed on ahead to where the room was and stared. It was unlocked completely. That meant there were hollows running loose in Las Noches with marks of her claws and fangs on them. Some would also have marks from Franny. If they didn't catch them they would get in so much trouble.
"Erm....seems I sent them to an unlocked room by accident...I meant to send them to the room next door." she said pointing at the door in question. "We best go catch them quick or the espada will have our hides." She said dashing away to try and catch the first hollow they had seen.
"What!" Franny said in someone of a comical way. "Uh nos! You've gotta be joking!" she said disappointed on having to do work and catching the runaway hollows. She pouted and sulked away on her search.
"Come'ere hollow hollow!" she started calling out as if searching for a cat. She sighed andsctarched her head. "Why you hollows! Stop hiding from me and just come out already! I dun' wanna play this game anymore!" she said starting to complain since she would usually get very impatient when it came to being the seeker in hide and go seek.
A shadow ran past her in the other hallway, Franny cocked her head in stupidity. Crickets chirped before she thought what she was supposed to do. Her eyes grew wide and she pounded her fist on her hand. "That's it!" she said alloud knowing that she was supposed to chase after them. Franny made off with a sprint towards the shadowy figured supposedly a hollow. "I've gotcha!" she yelled out and jumped towards it.
Raiga had gone in the opposite direction. She headed through it annoyed at her mistake launching bala at the feet of the hollows to try and slow them down. How could she have been so stupid? Well, thats what you would think she was thinking wouldn't you? Well, your wrong. She isn't even annoyed she sent them to the wrong room. She is annoyed she didn't purposely send them there. At first she was scared she would get torn apart by the espada for letting tons of hollows be unleashed in Las Noches, but now....she had another idea.
Yes, she had a much better idea. This could be a new game. She didn't care about Franny's mission. No, all she cared about was the thrill of the chase. The fun of the hunt. She was feeling more in touch with her beast. She was not a cat. She was a liger a cross-breed of two mighty beasts the tiger and lion. She was on the hunt. No hollow would be left alive.
Well, maybe they would be left alive, but they would wish they hadn't been. They would be reduced to shreds barely alive for her to sharpen her claws on or maybe for Franny to use for her mission. Either way they would be fun to play with. She wasn't even going her fastest yet. She was enjoying the thrill of slowly accelerating. "THIS IS SOOOOO MUCH FUN." she yelled out with a maniacal giggle that had the potential to make your blood run cold.
She went up, then down; landing on top of a hollow’s back. Franny gave a smile that she would give to a friend after just catching or finding them. “Gotcha!” she said enthusiastically. “Now… what to do with you?” she said letting go. The hollow was obviously scared of what she would do, so as Franny pondered on what to do, it tried to make an escape down a different hallway.
“HEY!” she yelled out after it. The hollow must’ve been suffering from the damage Raiga had done early on. Franny hadn’t done much capturing and did more eating, so it was all mainly Raiga’s doing.
Its look was somewhat familiar, the look of the damaged upon the hungry, like an animal on its last lifeline looking upon the eager hunters hiding in the thicket. And then there was Franny, she had it good, a big house and easy prey. The hollows probably hated her and them. After all, she ate them as her food in the great Las Noches, and treats the lower ranking like dirt. Now damaged hollows scamper around the large dome as they run for their life towards an invisible freedom.
Raiga was having the time of her life capturing hollows once more. She beat them up so much they couldn't move then stabbed them with one of the nine blades at the end of her cat-o-nine-tails zanpakutoh and dragged them along. It slowed her down, but that made the hunt more fun as it was harder. So far she had three hollows and from memory counter about 12 to capture. She would capture a maximum of nine then leave the rest to Franny.
She let out a growl and then pounced on the next hollow slicing it up with her claws till it couldn't move. Four down, five to go. She sighed deeply. This was ending too quickly for her liking. She had obviously hurt them too much when she originally captured them. It meant they couldn't run as fast.
Franny chased after it like as if she was playing some scary character ready to go and kill an innocent but guilty person. A smile was wiped across her face as she was enjoying the little game of tag. Well of coarse, it wasn’t extremely fun, especially since the hollow didn’t run that fast. It was obviously injured, and injured things need rest, not stress from a girl that would be ready to eat em anytime.
“Hahahaha! I’m gonna get ya!” she said cheerfully in a songlike phrase. She was obviously going to stir up trouble if someone found her playing with her food inside the doors of Las Noches.
The hollow slowed by a lot and Franny didn’t want to have to stop. But sooner or later, somethings gotta give. So Franny sighed in disappointment with the too tired to keep going hollow and started to drag it away by its tail. “Aw man, you’re such a bummer, you know that?” she told the hollow, as she dragged it along. “Oh well,” she sighed to herself, “Unto our next victim!” she said cheerily and made marching movements as she walked down the hallway, hollow being dragged behind her by her left hand.
Raiga had managed to catch 7 and couldn't be bothered to find anymore because they were so easy to catch and thus it was no fun. She dragged them back to the room and opened it before chucking them in and locking it behind her. They were too weak to even attempt to eat eachother. Raiga was not the sort of person who left her toys able to move. She would leave them in a state where it was possible for them to recover, but it would take a while and she never left them alone for long enough.
"Hollow toys never last long." she said with a sad purr as she sat there outside the door waiting for franny to come back with the others. "Shinigami put up a much better fight."
She heaved and hoed as she dragged along the remaining hollows, and obviously she was short of one. That was eatened when she got too impatient. Franny walked down the hallway with a smile on her face. “Heya Raiga! I caught them!” she yelled to her as she made her way there. Hopefully she wouldn’t notice that one was missing, so Franny contemplated this whole fake story of what had happened to it.
With a swing of her arm, Franny swung the rest of the hollows as they flew in the air and landed before her feline like friend. A grin on her face, “So what now?” she asked, wanting to go have some more fun. It would’ve been fun if they went to bother some agitated old geezers, especially since that’s what Franny did on a daily basis when she got extremely bored. Or they could go back to the Human World.
“Hey Raiga,” she said, “something’s been bothering me. Did I forget something or something, cuz I have a very strong feeling that I did” she said and pondered some more looking like the thinking man statue.
Raiga opened the door to the room and quickly threw them in slamming the door shut. They seemed to have a bit more life in them then her ones. "I wonder if they'll eat the others." she said absent-mindedly. Due to knowing Franny's hunger she didn't really bother to ask what had happened to the other one. Instead she rose to her feet and thought about it. "Did ya bring all yours toys and gigai?" she asked. That was all she could think of.
She then too assumed a thinking man pose whilst trying to think of something fun to do. At the moment she couldn't think of anything. "How about we go look around for someone fun to play with?" she suggested after a while.
