With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
"Okay!" Fae replied energetically to Mr. Hatter, smiling widely as she skipped over to the pot of tea. She grabbed the fine china carefully by its handle, trying not to burn herself on the fresh, steaming tea. Several tea cups were lined up on the table for the guests, there was more than enough for everyone. Fae slowly and carefully lifted the teapot over to the cups and cautiously tipped the pot so that the tea poured into the cup in a trinkle. Fae stared hard at the pouring tea, her tongue sticking out of her mouth in utter concentration. After the sweet smelling tea nearly filled the cup, she moved on to the next. "One for Music Man, one for the pretty lady, one for the fun lady, one for Mr. Hatter, one for the stalker man, and one for Fae" Fae listed the guests and waiting staff as she pured the drinks. Fae had tea before, but she never liked it unless she put lots and lots of sugar cubes in it. It always tasted great with lots of sugar cubes! So Fae promptly dropped lumps of sugar into each and every cup until each cup of tea was diluted with the sweet stuff. Fae though about carrying all the tea on a tray like maids were supposed to, and she even started to pick the tray up with the tea lined up in neat little rows, but it was harder than it looked and it she felt as if she were going to spill it all over the floor and make everyone mad, and whenever anyone gets mad at her, Fae gets really sad. So Fae decided to bring the tea to the guests one at a time, holding each cup with both hands and the utmost care.
First she delivered Franny's drink, since she was close by at the table with all the food. "Here you go fun lady!" Fae said with a friendly smile as she offered the tea to the woman, who was currently eating all the food. Fae wanted to hang out more with the fun lady, but she had more important maid stuff to do, so she scurried off as soon as she gave Franny the tea. But a second later she ran back to the table and popped a chocolate in her mouth. It was really hard to pass up such a delicious treat. "Mmmm, tasty!" she exclaimed to herself, smiling happily over the fact that she was eating chocolate. But then again, Fae enjoyed everything and almost anything would make the child smile.
Then next was Sobek. Of course he was still sulking about, observing the other party goers, not really participating himself. Fae hurried along over to him and handed him his cup of tea. "Here ya go Mr. Stalker" Fae said gleefully. Before the man could even respond to this unintentional insult, Fae was gone, running back over to the rest of the tea cups to hand them all out. People may get restless if they don't get their tea quickly!
Fae brought Django his tea as he was staring at some man in a suit that Fae had never seen before, though she recognized him as soon as she saw him. "What happened pretty lady?" Fae asked in a panic, her eyes wide and her expression fully displaying her concern for her once lovely friend. "You changed!" Fae exclaimed. Fae could have sworn that the lady was indeed a lady before. But now she was a man, but he was still the lady, Fae could feel it, her sixth sense left no detail unnoticed, though the little ADHD arrancar girl tended to ignore all the "uninteresting" stuff.
"Mr. Man" Fae began, trying to come to terms with the sudden transformation. "I need you to make the pretty lady appear again so that I can give the pretty lady her tea." Fae explained, trying to express the urgency of the situation. Fae made this particular cup of tea specifically for the Pretty lady, if she gave it to Mr. Man then it just wouldn't be the same.
Django was dumbstruck when Gen his flower turned into a man. It hurt him and embarrassed to no end. I will right a song about this. He thought as he tuned his attention to the one Fae called Fun Lady. Seeing as she was the only woman left in the room, he decided to get over Gen and try and swoon her. Bringing himself over to her, he grabbed her hand and took and knee. "My what a lovely appetite. You my sweet are truly a sight to beyond, perhaps you and I should get to know one another. I am Django Diaz and I am unworthy to be in your presence." Another series of quick flirts to a woman in Django's line of vision, it would have been difficult to flirt with both Franny and Gen so Gen did him a favor by limiting the selection.
Hatter on the other hand wasn't liking the fact that his party was becoming the mans dating service. He stepped in and took charge with his own form of flattery. " Now that some of the guest have arrived, I do think we should sit and begin. Anyone who shows up now will be welcomed, but we need not wait for them." Hatter said as he motioned everyone to their chairs, he wanted to begin his party and now was better than later.
"Now to start off you will notice a card in front of you, this card is very special and contains a surprise. Now don't open it just yet. Card contains a different surprise and that is where the first game comes into play." He said pointing out a series of large closed cards on the tables in front of each plate. They looked pretty ordinary, except for the size. They all had a large ? with a picture of Hatter's mark on it. The mark was a skull wearing a top hat much like Hatter's and it's tongue sticking out.
"They game is simple, you can exchange your card with other person at the table, and vice versa. You can not exchange with the same person twice and you can not open it until the game is over. You can decide to keep your card, but you will have to give it up if someone ask for it. Any questions so far?" He finished with his rules and sat at the head of the table. He sipped his tea calmly as he waited to hear some questions if any.
Django took his seat after Franny did, so he could sit across from her. He didn't care about the card or it's contents, what he did care about was swooning her. He received his tea from the short Fae and he secretly slipped in the vodka from his flask. He didn't like tea unless it was hard and even then it was an acquired taste.
Nero bowed to Fae and with a quick movement was behind her back as Gen holding the cup of tea. "You mean me?" she asked with a smile as she took a seat at the table. She was slightly annoyed at Django for moving onto another person, but that didn't bother her too much. She just enjoyed flirting. She took a sip of the tea. It was a bit too sweet for her liking, but she wouldn't tell that to Fae. "It is delicious thank you Fae."
She looked at the card for a moment wondering what could be inside each one. She held it in her hand seeing if she could tell what it was by feel, but she could not. She decided to hold onto hers until someone asked to swap. "When is Ulquiorra-Sama going to arrive Hatter?" she asked curiously.
Popping treats in one right after the other, Franny was too indulged into her snaking now to notice the approaching flirt. When he went down on a knee and took her hand, it basically freaked her out of her meal. Of coarse the treats weren’t that appetizing to her compared to hollows, but since she’d already ate her meal, sugared sweets tasted rather delicious. Being a little startled at first, Franny calmed her self up a bit and gave a smile. She wasn’t the kind to be rude and smack the guy away, but he was kind of creeping her out.
“Umm, hello there Django, I’m Franny Shiroi, and you are unworthy of my presence” she said and grinned at her little greet filled joke. Of coarse she wasn’t being mean, but she just thought it would be funny to say something like that. A warm smile is what she gave in order to make sure he didn’t take it seriously, and then she had to reassure him, “Sorry, I hope you know I’m only just joking.”
The party host Hatter had started the party up by getting everyone to take a seat and a card. The Django guy that partly creped her out because of his flirtatiousness sat across her just for her sake. ‘Oh joy…’ she thought to herself sarcastically putting her elbow on the table and her head on her hand. She took a look at Django and thought about teasing him a bit. So when he looked at her and made eye contact, she gave him a wink and a nice smile. ‘How odd…’ she thought to herself knowing full well that this was beyond anything that she would normally do, but man did she think it was funny.
A girl referred to as Fae brought the tea over to her as she took it. The aroma from it flew up to her face as its warmth and smell overfilled her. She took in a sip, and gave a nice smile to Fae, “Thanks, it tastes really good.” She said truthfully and took some more sips. If this truly was a tea party, she would play well at it and sip her tea rather than engulf it with her vacuum like appetite.
She held the card in her hand wondering what it was, ‘huh..’ she thought. What was the card for? And what exactly are they doing to get this party really started. Franny had no idea, but since she was at a party, she didn’t mind what would happen because to her, a party would only get better because of its wild fun, or wild party crashers. She looked at Hatter to pay more attention to the host rather than play around with what the card was.

Sobek was amused by the party, picking up a few treats as he moved to a seat. Fae brought him a cup of tea and he smiled and nodded gratefully until she added the comment about him being a stalker. He raised a hand as if to correct her but she had already moved on. He was not a stalker, he was observing quietly, there's a difference...It was like, part of his job in a way. He sipped the tea and sat down waiting to see what would happen next.
He thought it hilarious that the woman Django had been trying to woo, was in fact able to change into a man, or back at will. Both forms were attractive in their own ways, and it was perfect to be able to appeal to either sex. From a tactical point of view Gen/Nero made a great spy.
The girl he had followed in, Franny, busied herself with the treats at the table and soon after Django had embarrassed himself he went straight over to her...from first impressions she was quite energetic, rambunctiously so... He would have to keep an eye on her.
When hatter spoke and laid out the terms of his game Sobek stared down at the card before him. Picking it up between a thumb and forefinger and turning it this way and that. Why not... Sobek thought holding his card up and waiting for someone to excahnge it with...Oh it would be far too boring for everyone to keep their card so he would gladly trade just to see what would happen.

Fae snatched up her card excitedly and began to guess at what it could possibly be? More sweets? No. Fae had never heard of any sweets that could fin in something so fin. Maybe their were pictures in the card, it was really hard to guess. It would be more exciting if the cards were big huge boxes that maybe had giant cakes in them, or maybe puppies and kittens and the hollows with the big huge funny faces. The thought of such absurd things graced Fae's mind for a blissful moment until she came to and realized that there was only an odd card in her hand.
"Oh, Mr. Hatter said to trade it?" Fae exclaimed to herself, finally coming to terms with the conditions of the game. Fae held her card out to the now once again female Gen, looking as pretty as ever. Fae liked her pretty version more than her boy version, but she was very curious as to how she did it. But she would have to ask these sort of questions after she traded her card. "Do you want to trade your card with Fae?" Fae asked in her usual bubbly and sweet mannerism, unaware that it was mandatory to relinquish ones card when another requested it of them. Fae figured you were just supposed to trade the cards with someone that was your friend.
At least someone is starting to play the game. Hatter thought as he looked around the table, seeing only one is actually playing the game. He looked around smiling until he spotted Django not even picking up the card. He wasn't playing his game, how dare he?
That's when he got an idea of epic proportion. "Mr Charm, why aren't you playing the game?" Hatter asked while sitting comfortably in his chair. He waited for a response but Django ignored him.
"Excuse me, I asked a question. Answer or face the consequences." He said calmly but his aura was beginning to get frightening. Hatter wasn't going to be ignored by some Casanova wanna be at his own party.
Django wasn't going to answer but when the annoying man gave him a warning, that irked him to no limits. "Why play this silly game when I have a pretty senorita to swoon?" He said grabbing his card and tried to rip it. However, he couldn't, it was far stronger then it looked. He struggled to rip the stupid thing but it wouldn't rip.
What the hell is this made of? He thought has he decided to look inside. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. It may prove to be more than you can handle." He heard Hatter say in a sly manner as he looked at the cards seal. He didn't care what this ma had to say and further more he had already decided to open it anyways.
He ripped the seal in defiance of Hatter's instructions and to his surprise nothing happened. "Ha, nothing happ..." He started to say before a blinding light flashed Django. He rubbed his eyes, dropping the card, and started to curse Hatter to no end. It was at this point that Django grabbed his guitar and was about to play one of his special songs when he say a shadow of a person in front of him.
Hatter wasn't going to let this ruin his party and when the blinding light hit Django he calmly got out of his chair, pulled out a large mallet from his hat, and walked over to the musician. He lifted the mallet and slammed it down over Django but he didn't hit him. Rather he tapped a button in the floor that he made some time ago and it opened the floor below Django.
Django had fallen in Hatter's pitfall trap and cursed him as he fell to his unknown fate. Hatter returned the mallet in his hat, picked up the card, and poured out the contents. "So that's where I put that flash grenade." He said as he sat back down in his chair and looked over at Franny. "Trade?"
Gen thought about this carefully. This girl, whom she quite liked as a friend despite only just meeting, was asking if she wanted to trade. She obviously did not understand that if you asked someone to trade they would have to. However, she didn't want to ruin it for the girl so she smiled broadly and held out her card.
"Of course I would Fae." she said with a cheerful tone of voice. "I hope there is something good inside these. Maybe sweets or clothing vouchers." That was all she could think of. Well, except a few things, but she wouldn't mention them to such an innocent girl. It was then she heard the commotion over by Django and her smile turned to an evil grin.
Django was getting his just desserts. Not only was he refusing to play one of Hatter's games, which was a bad idea in itself. He had chosen to flirt with someone else rather then her. That was another mistake. She laughed slightly coldly as she saw him fall into a pit. "Nice one Hatter. Are all the gifts like that?"
Making Django fall for her little tricks was funny. But when Hatter came over to punish his flirting, now that was hilarious to Franny. She was the kind of people that thinks of things like that to be funny, especially since she’s all about fun and games. Incapable of helping herself, she just started laughing it up when Django fell down the pit. “Hahaha wow he sure fell for it” she cried out in a laugh trying to breath again.
A bright smile on her face, as she faced Hatter and looked down at her card. “This thing?” she asked pulling it up in front of herself. Another smile and then she put her hand forward to give it to him. “Sure, here ya go” she said excited to just see what’s behind these cards. “Hehe, I hope the card you gave me is any good” she said still smiling even though the card could just be another trap. She didn’t mind, it took a lot to make her angry, or at least, you’d have to press the wrong button.
