Arrancar Application
[/b][/center]In Character
--------------------
General Information
--------------------
Name: Deidos Descanso
Actual Age: 355
Appearing Age: 28
Gender: Male
Race: Adjuchas
Rank: Fraccion for Jericho
Number: He forgot.
Appearance
Standing at five foot ten, mostly legs and seemingly weighing nothing, Deidos naturally looks very fast. He always appears to have good posture, despite the fact that he's likely asleep. It's a defense mechanism to protect him from all the people who call him out on being asleep. His hair is short, black, and scruffy, sticking out in random parts, and laying flat in others. It's obvious that he does not care about his appearance, extending down to his beard, stubble always taking over his face. His eyes are a bright blue, contrasted by the dark bushy eyebrows that hang above them. His face is shaped a bit like a teardrop, narrowing towards his chin, his mouth oddly wide, giving his many yawns a strange look, sort of like he's about to try to eat an entire watermelon.
His shoulders are broad, giving his body a look that leans towards a very athletic look. Until you get past the shoulders. His body looks extremely thin and frail, simply looking like with some muscle he might be a well-shaped man. Instead, he looks almost skeletal, from his gaunt face to his frail looking limbs, simply excentuated by the inverted triangle shape he has. His clothes don't help, the typical arrancar outfit seems draped over him, as if it was hung on a rack. Every part of his shirt hangs down farther than it should, his bones sticking out at odd points along the way. Despite him wearing small clothes, they still dwarf him. His white top is sleeveless, just holding on to his shoulders, pinned at the front near his navel. Under the top, he wears a loose V-neck shirt, revealing the top curve of his hollow hole. The far-too-baggy sleeves ending just past his elbows, revealing his skeletal forearms and long, thin fingers. His pants are baggy, but only because he may as well be walking on french fries. For footwear he generally wraps his feet, wearing plain white slippers over the wrapping, finding the slippers more comfortable than any type of shoe he has ever found, and the only things he cares about is comfort.
His hollow hole is large, encompassing most of his upper chest, peck to peck, and almost down to the navel. His mask fragment starts at a point his brow, running completely down the right side of his nose, and about halfway down his nose, a seperate branch juts out, curling up under his eye, ending with a point meeting his eyelashes.
Personality
Deidos is a lazy, lazy man. So much so, that he often appears to be rude, or even sometimes to hate almost everyone around him, simply by not responding to anyone; it's generally because he's actually asleep. A feat he manages to perform with his eyes open, even those being too lazy to shut, even when he's asleep. Deidos only stays awake in the presence of those he respects, and even then, awake and aware are two very different things. He often ignores his surroundings, until they force him to react. He spends an odd amount of time in the human world, sleeping in trees, on rooftops; anywhere he is unlikely to be disturbed. When required, Deidos speaks with a deep, soft voice, often considered to be soothing, or even relaxing. He only speaks in a calm tone, even when he has to fight. Something he despises at his core. Not so much the fighting itself, as the energy needed to do so. So much energy is needed to fight, and he hates it. Energy, focus, movement. It upsets him. But he will, if he has to, and sometimes, he even manages to have a little bit of fun with it.
His laziness covers a clever enough person, who hides most of his feelings and ideas under several hundred layers of teflon coated laziness. An adept combatant with his unique weapon, but not so strong on the strategy front. He relies mostly on his unique brand of unpredictability. When forced to converse, it's often one word replies, unless he's speaking to someone interesting or someone he respects. Even those more powerful than him will often just get simple answers from him, even if their power does cause him to give them an extra word or two per sentence.
If properly awoken, he will gain an overly arrogant attitude. Anything that demands his attention enough to draw him out of his nearly perpetual slumber is something that he has to reduce to background noise as quickly as possible, and he has learned over time that confidence tends to cripple those who are not confident. And when that fails... he pretends to agree, just so he can go back to sleep.
He's not incredibly adept at maintaining relationships for obvious reasons, but it isn't something that bothers him greatly. He has a knack to doze off even around people he respects at times, and that can be too much for others to handle. Generally, he doesn't remember who they were after a few days anyways, thinking they might have been a dream, or sometimes in the case of the more boring ones, a nightmare.
Relaxation is less a desire, and more a necessity to him, he often only spends a few hours a day awake, and that is rarely at one time. Usually a half hour here and there. When forced to stay alert for more than a few hours consecutively he grows annoyed. He is capable of staying awake for a full day, but it drains him of all desire to do anything but sleep.
History
As a new hollow, Deidos was the opposite of his current self, vicious and ferocious, and far too overindulgent. Especially when it came to food. He'd often draw too much attention to himself, having to hide from shinigamis while they slaughtered the pathetic other hollows. He feasted, and they paid the price. It was a deal he was totally okay with, despite them not knowing it. His body was heavy, covered in black fur, and his eyes shone blue behind his pure white mask, no details aside from thin stripes running across the eyes. His arms ending in hooked claws, and his feet simply spikes at the end of his legs. As he gained power, his bulk increased, his claws sharper, and he'd use all of that to tear through random parts of the world, before ending his rampage in a town near London, heavy with people and souls, he made it his stomping ground, killing people and pluses alike, until he was confronted by a Shinigami. One had finally caught him, showing up as his claws were deep in a plus, its essence draining into Deidos' core, where his hollow hole rested. He craned his long neck over his shoulder, and stood, piercing the ground where he was standing. The Shinigami was shaking, and Deidos decided they were not an even match, though he had never fought a Shinigami, the Shinigami seemed slightly stronger than him, making his next move all the more obvious. He jumped towards the Shinigami, clawing through the air with his right hand, which was promtply stopped by the Shinigami's blade. The Shinigami delivered a quick kick to his chest, sending him pummeling to the ground.
Deidos released a fierce roar, glaring at the Shinigami. Food. The Shinigami was food. Strong food. Good. Should fill him for a long time. The Shinigami asked "Do you understand me, hollow? I am here to purify you, to change you from your sick ways!" And with that, the Shinigami charged towards Deidos, who was noticing that more hollows were gathering near, undoubtedly drawn by the Shinigami, whose confidence Deidos had decided was in error. The Shinigami swung his blade, Deidos stepped aside, displaying surprising speed for his size. With a great yawn, he kicked the Shinigami, impaling him on his spike of a leg. Feeding on that energy gave Deidos a great idea. He had been gaining awareness more and more over time, but now he was confident that he could come out on top through a Menos Grande. A risk he knew he would have to take sooner or later. The other Hollows neared the area, but they were slowly being killed. Deidos noticed an insanely strong presence, a much stronger Shinigami. He was destroying the other hollows, working his way towards him. He assumed, then, that the Shinigami he killed was not entirely supposed to wander off alone.
Rather than brave a battle with the other hollow, who were quickly dying, Deidos decided to make his first journey to a place more crowded with hollow than anywhere he'd ever seen.
He woke up sometime later, noises echoing in his brain... was it his brain? The screams of others made it hard for him to focus. But, amid the chaos he realized that being the voice speaking the most wasn't the key. He roared, bellowing above all others, seeing the world through new eyes, destructive eyes. They had been here for some long amount of time, he wasn't sure how long. Most of his memory was missing from the past... however long it had been since he killed that shinigami. But his presence here was strong, and he felt the others falling in line. It wouldn't be long, now. He would reach the last stage of his evolution. At least as far as he knew at that point. He kept control for the rest of his time there, destroying other Menos, crushing them under his will, drawing his monstrosity closer to to the next evolution.
His new body was... different. He was small, that was odd. No, not small. Smaller. He was actually... quite large. His limbs were long, it was an odd feeling, he felt almost like he weighed more than his massive muscles could move. He walked on his feet, new for a form he fully controlled, but his hands nearly touched the ground as he walked. He realized that the muscles coating his body actually made him weigh so much that he needed a lot of energy to move quickly. That was annoying. But as he moved his limbs, he could feel the power they held. It made him smile, his mask splitting across the jaw as he heartily laughed, coming back together to a solid shape, covering his face, once again only displaying his eyes, with the stripe running across them. He turned his neck, finding it oddly long, and looked around. Convenient, he didn't have to turn his body to see behind him.
Could be useful. He decided he'd learn more about himself after a nap. Eventually he woke up, surrounded by hollows, one of which was clawing at him. He noticed the wound and snarled.
"What do you think you're doing?" He asked, his voice heavy and gravelly. He cracked his arm out, smashing the hollow's mask, crumpling it to the ground. He looked around. There were three, how annoying. One was an Adjuchas, the rest were weaklings. He simply stood where he had been laying, flexing his fingers. He noticed he was in striking range of the two small hollows. Convenient.
He swung hard at them with his right arm, crushing the two remaining hollows. It swung with huge power, but he felt himself tiring right away. He yawned, and looked at the remaining hollow. The Adjuchas. He lumbered towards him, opening his mouth for another yawn. "Rude to wake people up when they're sleeping."
"You looked like an easy kill. Why don't we work together?" The hollow asked, its voice high and cold, as it stood its ground.
Deidos didn't even consider the offer. The idiot was asking him to work? No thanks. He yawned again, launching a cero through the air, coursing out from where it was charging in his closed mouth. The other Adjuchas crumpled, but stood back up, standing on all fours, looking thin and frail. It was shaking.
"Scum!" It cried, charging at Deidos, who simply sat down, and swung his arm around, catching the adjuchas as it charged, catching it on his claws, tearing down its side, it collapsed in front of him, eyes fading, before its hole body vanished. At least it would give him some energy. Its purpose had been served, food for the strong. Deidos glanced around, the area was empty, he then began to climb one of the many tree like shapes around him, breaking through the top after digging for what seemed like forever, finally standing on the sand of the desert, and took a nap. He figured there were less hollows up here, and he would be bothered less. Perfect spot for a nap.
When he woke up, he was aware of a nearby presence. Luckily, when napping he was undetectable. He kept his reiatsu down, the presence felt too powerful to be real. He crawled along the ground, not standing for fear of being more easy to notice. He trudged carefully up a dune, and craned his neck over the top, careful not to let his body show to the other side. He saw an odd scene. Was it a human?
No, way too strong, and... He was... Shinigami. No... Hollow. ...Both?
Deidos was confused, but he saw the figure strike a hollow and the hollow was gone. And that was an Adjuchas he struck. Not a weakling. Stronger than he was. And he just... dismissed it with a wave of his hand. How? The figure turned towards Deidos. He froze on the dune, his eyes looking at a mask, broken. What was that thing? It felt like a hollow... and a shinigami. But that mask, what was left of it. Was there more power he could attain? Did he just have to shatter his mask? He was too timid to try. It wasn't worth risking death on a whim. Not a death like that. He was only a fresh born Adjuchas, anyways. He had no hope of mutating that soon. He'd try to get answers later.
The figure was staring, Deidos noticed. Right at him. Not moving, but it was clear he saw him. Deidos sighed. He was tired. But, his curiosity was getting the best of him. He trudged over the top of the dune, his bulk helping him slide him down the dune like a rock. The figure tilted his head. "I almost didn't notice you," it spoke, his mask covering the top left part of his face, including his eye. It had spikes lining its round edge, ending in a perfect right angle at his nose.
Deidos was scared, and he knew the man could tell. "I.. what are you?" Deidos question, keeping his voice steady.
"Arrancar," the man said, eyeing Deidos. He tapped his mask. "There's a shinigami that wants to make us stronger. Wants an army. Aizen, he said his name was. I didn't care. I just wanted what he was offering. He breaks our masks and unleashes our true potential."
"Arrancar?" Deidos asked. "True potential... I guess I should look in to that."
"You should," the figure spoke. "But why would I let you leave here alive? I could use a good workout."
Deidos felt cold fear sink all over his body. He couldn't win. But he could run. He felt his muscles tense, fear kicking his stamina into gear. The man turned to attack him, with a sword?
Deidos jumped back, and stumbled, the sword scratched his left arm. Shit, Deidos thought. Shit... I have to get out of here. He let loose a cero from his mouth, right towards his attacker. Apparently his cero was quick enough to stun him, because as Deidos ran away, he felt the figure start to give chase, but Deidos had already cleared the dune. He felt the man close to him, gaining. Deidos spun again, maybe he should have worked with that other Adjuchas.
Just then, another Adjuchas jumped at the man, who, like Deidos, was too busy to notice its presence. It tore at the man's arm, bloodying it greatly, but it was soon kicked off, and the 'Arrancar' raised its sword. Deidos fired another cero, turned and ran. He heard the Arrancar scream with rage as the cero undoubtedly hit. So Arrancar weren't all-powerful.
He charged off through the dunes, and buried himself under a smaller dune. He sensed the presence of the other Adjuchas fade. He was falling asleep, though. And his reiatsu would be hidden. Good. He needed to heal.
When he woke up, his wound was healed, luckily he had had that small feast shortly before the battle. It had given him the energy to fight, and to heal. But now? He was exhausted. His life was about to become a constant struggle to feast on hollows. He needed their strength. He needed to be strong enough to become a powerful arrancar... And then he would hunt that other one down.
How many years passed? Or had it been years? He had lost track of time since his last meeting with that arrancar. His body had grown, and he had taken to feeding on other Adjuchas instead of weaker hollows. He could feel power surging through him all the time. He knew, now, through the absorbed souls of the hollows, and their brief conversations, where he had to go. He had to go to Las Noches.
The journey was long, and more hollow fell to him along the way. A few close calls with stronger Adjuchas, but he pushed on. He was ambushed by a group at one point, but managed to scare them off. It was the closest he had come to death in a long time, but luckily he was far stronger than them. His comfort in the laziness of feasting had resulted in an excess of stamina. He didn't much feel stronger after kills, just more energetic. He used that excess energy to increase his pace towards Las Noches. To his final goal.
When he arrived at the palace, he felt many, many strong energies within. But he was surprised to be greeted by one, and not threatened. They told him they knew why he was there, and hurried him inside. Hurried him to the Hogyoku. Whatever that was.
Next time Deidos woke up, he felt tired. He had no memory of anything past reaching the gates. But he felt much more powerful than he had felt before. He could feel new energies inside him. He was taught about his new abilities, and given a number. He was now a Numero, a member of an army. He didn't mind that. So his job was to kill Shinigami, big deal. Just like old times.
Before he truly worked with the others, though, he made a pilgrimage. His new power led him right to the one that had tried to kill him so long ago. He could sense his energy, he was just outside Las Noches. Deidos ran, charging through the domed city, until he found himself in front of the other arrancar. The other arrancar looked up, and Deidos knew he was right. That mask. He recognized it immediately. He smiled. He wondered if the Arrancar remembered him. The confused look on his face suggested no. "I almost didn't notice you," Deidos said coldly.
The man looked like he was trying to place Deidos' face. But he couldn't. Deidos looked too different.
"Don't remember me? You told me about Arrancar. About the army. Then you used me as your workout. Or, you tried."
The man's face shone with dull recognition.
"My turn."
Deidos unwound his new Meteor Hammer from his left arm, and swung it, cracking the arrancar square in the face, before he could even react. Deidos pulled the Meteor back, and wrapped it around his arm again. He loosened the one in his right arm just slightly as he did so, spinning it in a small circle.
"Turns out, I understand this power better than you did. You and your silly little sword," Deidos laughed.
"Screw you," the arrancar said. "I woulda killed you back then! Piece of shit!"
Deidos smiled. "You know, it's awfully rude to talk about someone like that before they crush your skull."
And that just what he did. He felt much better afterwards, he had redeemed that small bit of pride he had lost. But, suddenly, a wave of exhaustion wore over him. He trudged slowly back to Las Noches, falling asleep resting on a random tower. He'd have plenty of time to train, now. Now there was nothing to do but to learn how to use his newfound power better. To close the gap between those stronger than him. And nap. Plenty of naps. Maybe some food, too. But mostly naps.

Skills
- Swordsmanship- Intermediate
- Cero - Advanced
- SonÃdo - Advanced
- Hand to Hand - Beginner
Attributes
- Speed - Advanced
- Power - Intermediate (Advanced in Res)
- Stamina - Beginner, practically none. (Intermediate in Res)
- Intelligence - Intermediate
As a note, due to his extremely lazy and slow nature in his sealed state, all of Deidos' attributes are stunted by his almost entire lack of Stamina. While Power and Stamina are truly stunted, his speed is still great, albeit only in bursts.
--------------------
Powers
--------------------
Natural Powers
- Cero is crimson, same his his reiatsu.
- Garganta
- Pesquisa -Not good enough with it to find anyone who is trying to hide, though it may or may not be because he just doesn't care enough to hone it.
- Hierro -Pretty limited Hierro covering his body, a good hit or two from any reasonable level will shatter it until he has time out of combat to restore it. (One hit from equal tier or above will shatter it, two hits from one tier down, three hits for two tiers down, four for all below two tiers.)
Arrancar Abilities
Yawn
- Description of Attack - Deidos can charge a cero or two balas in his mouth, then release the attack with a yawn. The cero or bala charged this way is slightly faster to charge, but almost completely drains him of energy, leaving him incapable of cero or bala blasts while in combat. If he charges two balas, they launch at 45 degree angles from where his mouth is pointing. If he launches a cero, it is larger and wider than his typical cero, but packs the same punch, working as a better close range option than long range, whereas the bala works better for quick opponents or multiples at distances.
- Type - Cero
- Range - 25 yards.
- Limitation - Only usable once in combat, not usable if Meteor Cero/Shower was used. Charge time is two posts, but it is subtle, being charged in his mouth.
Meteor Cero
- Description of Attack - Using his Zanpakuto to charge the energy of three cero at one of the balls, he then sends the weapon at the enemy, dealing both physical damage, and causing the cero to erupt with three quarters of its usual power. When charged the end of Deidos' Zanpakuto looks crimson, instead of its usual color, and instead of the abstract designs, slight bursts of flame pop out at times.
- Type - Cero
- Range - Close
- Limitation - Usable once in combat.
Packs the punch of a .75% cero at point blank, giving it a higher energy cost than damage output by a lot.
Same tier/-1/-2/: Hits like a weakened cero, with the force of a weapon behind it.
Deidos tier +1: Mostly impact damage, the exploding cero simply amplifying the physical brunt slightly, rather than hitting like a cero.
Tiers up: A glancing blow, doing minor damage, and mostly from the physical attack.
Tiers down: A powerful strike, the cero will explode with enough force to weaken a lower tiered opponent, although not enough to put them out of commission, unless they got knocked in the face.
Meteor Shower
- Description of Attack - When Meteor Cero is prepared, Deidos can throw the end of the Meteor into the air, instead of hitting his opponent with it. When doing this, it launches a barrage of five Balas in the general direction of his opponent(s). They launch in a straight line or a star-like patter, never in a straight line.
- Range - 40 yard.
- Limitation - Completely exhausting, Deidos instantly wants to nap. He usually simply walks off after using this ability, sometimes leaving opponents too stunned to chase, oftentimes resulting in him having to continue the battle at very low reiatsu reserves. He only uses this ability as a last act of desperation. Used mostly like a smokescreen, limited control over direction, kind of like pointing and crossing your fingers.
Same tier/+1/-1/-2: A carpet bomb of Balas, each doing typical bala damage. One target not likely hit by more than one.
Tiers up: Negligible damage, likely used to shield his escape, as a few balas aren't going to accomplish much, especially not at the cost.
Tiers down: Good to use in a situation where he is outnumbered by weaker combatants, as the Balas move quick and pack a punch to those weaker than him.
--------------------
Zanpakutō
--------------------
Name: Perezoso
Translation - Sloth
Call Out Phrase: Despertarse
Translation - Wake Up
Appearance
A double-headed meteor hammer, Perezoso is sometimes worn over Deidos' neck and wrapped around his arms, or more often wrapped around his waist like a belt, the weights resting at the front, at around thigh level. The weights are four inches in diameter, and perfectly spherical, the cord connecting them seeming to phase directly into the weights. Despite only being four inches, they pack an amazing density, weighing thirty pounds each. The weights are connected by a smooth, black cord that is roughly twice his height in length, giving him a great amount of slack to work with. The weights themselves are white, each designed with thin abstract swirls of black.
--------------------
Resurrección
--------------------
Appearance
When released, Deidos' neck extends an extra few inches, as does his torso. His arms grow long, turning to three oddly-long fingered hands with short sharp claws at the end. The arms themselves have an extra joint, creating what is essentially a new elbow, giving him almost freakish movements. His face is gaunt, his eyes solid black, the hair on his head changing color to crimson, and extending to points under his eyes, before pulling away just above his cheeks, and starting to run down his neck, stopping at his jawline at the front and splitting in the center at the back before stopping at his shoulder blades. Across his eyes, where the hair has grown, a black strip of hair grows horizontally. Where the hair splits at the base of his skull, odd spikes begin protruding from each vertebrate, as if his bones themselves are too big for his skin, giving his back an oddly threatening appearance. His legs gain the same extra joint, often left curled back behind his thighs, leaving his movements looking typical and normal for a human-like shape until he stands fully, giving him an eerily thin skeletal shape. His torso mostly remains unchanged, though his hollow hole shrinks slightly, only remaining under his ribcage in a three inch circle. His ribcage protrudes slightly, accentuating his gaunt shape.
In his released shape, his outfit has vanished, and his body becomes extremely pale, almost straight white. Instead of clothes, his body is covered in small wrappings that are crimson in color, wrapped around each joint, his lower torso, and his upper legs, up to the top of his thighs. His feet are long, and instead of toes, each ends in two sharp claws. The closest elbow to his wrists and the lower, forward facing knees on his legs each have small spikes, similar to the ones on his back. When first released, he often leaves his arms with their slightly extended length, hiding the extra elbow by folding them back to his shoulders, much like he does with his legs. If standing fully straight, with his arms straight out, he would now be eight feet tall, with an eleven foot arm span, all of it appearing to be bony and powerless, which is contrary to the truth. His face is not only gaunt, but his mouth is freakishly wide, giving him an extremely creepy look when he speaks.
Though he has claws on his hands and feet, and doesn't appear to have any sort of weapon otherwise, his lack of ability with hand to hand combat leaves his attacks to his surprising range with those hands and feet, not being very capable of defending himself with them. Though, this seeming disability is rather deceitful, as his new form not only allows him to use more of his power, but actually grants him stamina, as well. A decision he made when he sealed his form was to take a trait of his normal self, normally locked away in the release, and make it a part of his daily self. In this case, his sloth-like nature. This also caused his released state to shrivel, giving it its creepy, thin, gaunt appearance, as opposed to a simple, bulky appearance, like he had in his Adjuchas state, while giving him access to his full reserves of energy. As a note, he has a tendency to use Bala in close range in this state, to make up for his lack of weapons.
Abilities
Meteor Storm
- Description of Attack - Deidos calls forth energy in one hand, though its charging is quick, like a Bala, the energy isn't as explosive. He then lobs the Bala into the air, it will simply hover above him, several hundred feet above. He can throw up to four orbs for one attack. In order to trigger the attack, Deidos simply has to fire a typical Bala, where it impacts, the Balas in the air will shatter into shards of sharp energy, and rain down on that location, cutting through the air at high speed. Each Bala shatters into nine shards in the air, and they fall in a diameter of four feet around the impact point, each additional bala adds four feet to the diameter. (One bala shatters and falls in a four foot diameter around impact, two fall in eight, three fall in twelve, four fall in sixteen.)
- Type - Ranged
- Range - 100 yards
- Limitation - Deidos can muster a total of twelve of the hovering balas before he has to seal his form. Cannot be used anywhere but under open space. He also cannot stop the Balas from shattering towards the impact point if he misses his target. The shards are only inch and a half long triangles. Upon impact, the shards dissipate, leaving mostly surface wounds.
Same tier +1/-1/-2/-3: Like being attacked by a quick flurry of slashes as they fall through the sky.
Deidos Tier +2: Similar to being hit with a pellet gun, more annoying than damaging.
Tiers up: Glancing, the shards likely won't even pierce the reiatsu around a combatant.
Tiers down: Highly dangerous, though the shards can't cut deep and aren't accurate, they move fast and they are numerous.
Martillo Abajo (Hammer Down)
- Description of Attack - Deidos can charge ceros, forming solid crimson energy spheres, much like his sealed state Zanpakuto. He will charge two, which will be connected by a chain of pure energy. The spheres are as solid as his zanpakuto, but they have spines along them, two inch protrusions running randomly along the surfaces. The spines do not harm Deidos, even when he uses his body to accelerate the Hammer's speed. He can also increase and decrease the length of the energy chain at his will, from as small and solid as a bar at 6 inches, to a fully flexible rope up to fourty feet long, giving him even more surprising range than just the length of his arms. The extensive total length is also due in part to the length of his arms, which require more length to properly use the weapon. This ability is truly is most powerful, as it gives him his favored weapon in his strengthened state.
- Type - Weapon
- Range - Melee
- Limitation - Deidos can use this ability only once in combat, and it locks away his ability to use Meteor Storm, even if he should dissipate the ability prior to combat's end. Has same effect as a zanpakuto of his level would.
Deidos maintains 'Yawn' as an ability, though the charging time is reduced, and he can use it up to four times in combat, though he rarely does. In release Yawn takes one post to charge.

Deidos slept peacefully, in the middle of an important meeting with most of the arrancar, and the shinigami that had birthed them. Something about becoming a god, blah blah blah, Deidos had fallen asleep just after that. He had a dream about a cloud. But he was the cloud, just floating along on the wind, forever adrift along the currents of storms and oceans. Parts of him would be lost in the transitions, but he would gain new parts as well.
He shook his head as he was nudged rudely by an arrancar near him. "I was sleeping," Deidos said, glaring at him. "I was a cloud. It was odd. Felt kinda like life."
"Right, whatever, pay attention. Aizen-sama is speaking," the arrancar said, looking like he may as well be in love with the Shinigami. Personally, Deidos didn't feel the need to dedicate his time to serving a Shinigami. Seemed wasteful. But, here he was. At least that Shinigami had given him the power to find his own path.
The Shinigami spoke. "I don't expect you to trust me. I do not ask that of you. None of you. I simply ask-"
Deidos yawned. "No problem," he muttered. "I don't trust Shinigami, no matter what they do for me," he thought he maybe said out loud, but judging by the lack of reaction from those around him, maybe he just thought it. He yawned again. Man, Shinigamis talked forever. He could have slept this whole time, but, no, instead he had to sit hear and listen to the aspirations of a foolish man. The whole thing wasn't doing much more than solidifying a distaste in Deidos' gut for the man. His eyes started to gloss over as the man kept talking, but he caught himself as the man looked his way. Deidos there, leaning on a pillar, the man locked onto Deidos' eyes. What, dick? Deidos thought, but the man simply grinned and looked away. Shit, did he just hear me? Deidous thought, before realizing that he only thought that. It wasn't until later that he began to truly find the whole situation rather disqueting.
Finally the man released them from what must have been hell, and Deidos was confronted by an arrancar on the outskirts of the tower. "Ya didn't seem that interested," the arrancar prodded. "Aizen-sama not that fun to you?"
Deidos yawned and kept walking. He wasn't so much ignoring the man, as not even noticing him.
"Hey!" The man said, shoving Deidos' shoulder as they both walked. "I'm talking to you!"
Deidos kept walking, his mind only on sleeping.
"Asshole! I'm talking!" The other arrancar full-on shoved Deidos.
Deidos tripped, caught his balance, glanced at the ground to see what he tripped on. He tripped on something, right? Weird.
"Seriously? What the hell...?" The arrancar was baffled by how stubborn Deidos appeared to be. He ran around in front of him. "Hey! Asshole!"
"What?" Deidos asked, completely unphased by the insults.
"Just wondering why you think Aizen-sama is so uninteresting, but now I wanna know why you were ignoring me!" The arrancar questioned.
Deidos yawned again. "Just tired," he said, continuing his trek to a nice spot he had found. There were plants and some water. He liked it. Better than sand all the time.
The arrancar simply stood, dumbfounded, apparently deciding trying to talk to Deidos wasn't worth the effort.
