With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.

Masanori listened to the two bicker and just added his two cents when he thought neccessary. Seiji seemed bothered by something Hisashi had said but Masanori just nodded as if he understood all too well.
"I'm sure he does. He said some hurtful things the other night that I'm not sure he really meant."
"What you have to understand about Hisashi, is that he's had it pretty rough. He's actually pretty talented and has helped me alot."
Their conversation about Hisashi was sidetracked by Vergil's questioning about his jug.
"So you have seen my jug eh!? Well come on and spill it, where are you hiding it? Clearly it has you distraught."
Seiji picked it up and smelled it turning his nose away as he closed it. Masanori kinda smiled at that and whispered.
"Heh, that bad huh?"
When Vergil tried to answer Masanori's question he kinda trailed off...
"Well... you see when you're trying to get out of doing w-," the abrupt stop made Masanori peer up curiously...
"What was that? get out of doing what?" "Ah, I do see." "See? See what?"
Masanori turned back and forth between them, but it was obvious there was some joke there he didnt quite understand. His lips twisted into a suspicious frown just before he was spoken to about his chores.
"You take direct orders from Rounin Taicho? Why is that?" Seiji asked.
"Rounin Taicho huh? Bet you feel really good right now huh? A captain having the trust and faith in you to do errands. What an honor," Vergil's words were slightly mocking but Masanori didn't take them that way.
It made him feel good to think that she came to him directly, that probably wasnt quite the case. More like he was the one who was around when she was looking for someone to push chores off on.
"W, Well, you see, um... Yeah, I mean, who doesn't want to have a superior put their faith in them for important tasks and stuff?" Not that any of the stuff on the list was really important...

Vergil smirked and shunpoed down and claimed the jug with a greedy smile upon his face. Ah, how nice it was to beholding his... his... what was it exactly? Oh well, it had been good enough to put him out of commission for a few hours so it was obviously the good stuff. The other guy who had been in the tree obviously had gotten what he had omitted from his comment. Oh well, that just meant that he liked to relax himself he supposed. However... the other guy had obviously not gotten it. "Uh... its nothing really, no need to go into detail about it," he waved it off dismissively with a little bit of a smirk. Hmm... now what was he gonna do? He had gotten interrupted from his sleep and its not like he was going to be getting back to sleep anytime soon.
Hmm... maybe he could do something with these guys, after all, it wasn't like they had anything better to do. "Well you guys seem alright, maybe a little... crazy and overly slow but, alright none the less," he said trying to be relatively nice. "Would you guys like to hang or something though... you did say you were busy huh? Then you also seem to be busy... talking plants into growing. Oh well, I guess I could get back to work..." He finished with a relative distaste in his mouth. Though the work was necessary, did there really have to be so much of it? Oh well, it could be worse he guessed, he could have to do his Captains work like this poor sap if Hitsugaya-taicho had ever chosen to be lazy. Luckily this was never the case.
"What you have to understand about Hisashi, is that he's had it pretty rough. He's actually pretty talented and has helped me alot."
"I'm not saying he doesn't have his good qualities, just that he doesn't use them around me. Probably due to the fact that I'm all chummy with Kimiko." Seiji folded his arms. As he did this, the bottle disappeared from his hand.
The man made a comment that was more directed at Masanori, so Seiji waved that one off. Though, this man was fast, Seiji didn't realize that he had the bottle till he was down there... How did he do that? Seiji could learn a lot from this guy, but would he anytime soon? Probably not. Seiji would have to be in the same division for that to happen, on a regular basis anyway.
"Well you guys seem alright, maybe a little... crazy and overly slow but, alright none the less,"
Crazy? Or slow? Which was Seiji? This was almost obvious for Seiji, he was the crazy one, talking to plants and whatnot. He read somewhere that talking to plants help their growth due to the carbon dioxide in the air that they breath out. That sounded like a good reason, that and he wanted to get out his frustrations from a few nights ago. Either way, Seiji would ignore this comment as well.
"Would you guys like to hang or something though... you did say you were busy huh? Then you also seem to be busy... talking plants into growing. Oh well, I guess I could get back to work..."
"Hangout? Uh, yeah, uh, sure, why not? I'm not really busy with the whole talking to plants thing, I was just getting things off my chest. Got a lot on my mind y'know." Seiji laughed a little bit.
"W, Well, you see, um... Yeah, I mean, who doesn't want to have a superior put their faith in them for important tasks and stuff?"
Faith in a lower rank? This was almost unheard of from Kuchiki-Taicho. He did a lot of his work by himself with little to no help, usually no help. Even Makino-Fukitaicho wasn't as busy. Sure he had his share of work, but not as much. The more it went down the ladder, the less work there was to be had. Everyone had their "fair" share, and Seiji was no exception. Though he would like to work a bit more, especially if it meant training time, but this just didn't happen often. His division was complicated.
"It's not always a good thing, I'm sure you'd like to have time off, am I right?"

"I'm not saying he doesn't have his good qualities, just that he doesn't use them around me. Probably due to the fact that I'm all chummy with Kimiko."
Masanori was just about clueless as to why that should matter, he just smiled and shrugged.
"Maybe you could try a little harder to get along with him. We could get some dinner one night, that would be nice. Or we could go drinking, although I don't usually drink much."

"Hang? Aren't you doing enough of that?" Masanori was referring to him being up in the tree.
"Hangout? Uh, yeah, uh sure, why not?..." When Seiji said hangout what Vergil said made a lot more sense. "...I'm not really busy with the whole talking to plants thing, I was just getting things off my chest. Got a lot on my mind y'know."
"OH Hangout! Um, Yeah sure, I could use a break, whatcha got in mind?"

Vergil didn't really care who this Hisashi guy was, he sounded like a loser. He just sort of sat there as they talked about it. He didn't even know who the Kimiko they were talking about was either. Apparently that's why Hisashi and Seiji hated each other by the sound of it. Was she a home wrecker? Nah that wasn't the right word for it... Not that he would think of the word as the slow one spoke up. "What?" He said giving him a weird look. What an odd guy. That's when the crazy one spoke up. Allot on his mind huh? Was quite the understatement for the mind of a crazy person in his opinion but, that was neither here nor there. He didn't really pity the ignorance of the slow one. The way of the world was to dodge work and have as much fun as possible. But, he was a straight edge kind of guy it seemed.
"Nothing wrong with that I guess," he said shrugging. It seemed his earlier slip up was due to a misunderstanding, he supposed he could believe that, the guy was pretty slow. Not really one that seems to upkeep with common knowledge... lacking common sense! That was the word he was looking for! "Hmm, I don't know, didn't really have a plan with anything. What do you guys usually like to do?" He asked looking at the two for ideas. Hopefully they had something, he didn't really want to go and work right now... or ever. Blargh... work, it was just no fun in the long run or short run for that matter.
"Maybe you could try a little harder to get along with him. We could get some dinner one night, that would be nice. Or we could go drinking, although I don't usually drink much."
Seiji rubbed his chin for a moment. He knew exactly how it would end. Seiji and Hisashi would end up in a verbal argument again. Masanori would probably try to stop this from happening, but Seiji knew better. He might not of been the brightest, but Seiji knew how things could go, especially after what had happened the other night.
"Nah, that's alright. Me and Hisashi would probably fight... Unless Kimiko was there, but even then... I have to decline. It would just be... Bad..."
"OH Hangout! Um, Yeah sure, I could use a break, whatcha got in mind?"
"Hmm, I don't know, didn't really have a plan with anything. What do you guys usually like to do?"
Seiji sighed. He knew that he was gonna have to make the decision. It always ended that way... Ok, not always, but that was besides the point. In this case, it was up to him seeing as how they both didn't know what to do. Maybe Seiji would make a joke first...
"Well, usually, I do what you were doing..." Seiji chuckled and pointed up. He then continued. "As for right now though, Why don't we grab a bite to eat, there is this noodle place no to far from here, they got some good noodles."

Sadly, Seiji didn't seem to like the idea of spending some time getting to know Hisashi in a more friendly setting. "Nah, that's alright. Me and Hisashi would probably fight... Unless Kimiko was there, but even then... I have to decline. It would just be... Bad..." It kinda bummed Masanori out that he turned it down so quickly.
"Gee, that's too bad. I'm sure if you guys talked more you could come to some sort of understanding. Anyway, this talk of food is making me hungry. I wouldn't mind grabbing something to eat, if you guys want to I mean." Food seemed to be on Masanori's mind now, food was great! It brought people together, even enemies could forget their differences over a good meal!
Masanori kinda zoned out thinking about what he would eat until Vergil asked about their plans. "Hmm, I don't know, didn't really have a plan with anything. What do you guys usually like to do?"
But it was Seiji who answered first, "Well, usually, I do what you were doing... As for right now though, Why don't we grab a bite to eat, there is this noodle place not too far from here, they got some good noodles."
It was like Seiji read Masanori's mind, "Yes!" Masanori excitedly exclaimed, then came the awkward pause... "...I mean, that sounds great..." His eyes moved back and forth between the two. Hopefully Vergil would be on board for the idea because it almost looked as if should Vergil refuse it would just break Masanori's heart...

Hmm Seiji seemed to really dislike the guy they were talking about. Not even giving the other guys idea a chance with the whole dinner idea. Oh well, it wasn't his problem. Vergil smirked at Seiji's attempt at what he thought was a joke, quite the smart ass this one. "Noodles huh?" Vergil asked and then thought about it. He hadn't really eaten today in fact, he had only had what was in the bottle he had been drinking earlier. This is when his stomach made a faint gurgling noise. Hmm, it was decided he guessed. Vergil was about to answer when the Masanori piped up with his excitement for noodles. Well... someone was obviously hungry... or had an abnormally odd attachment to the food.
"Heh well someone likes their noodles. Sure, sounds good. I haven't really eaten all day," He said smiling. "Feel free to lead the way whenever you would like," He finished gesturing in a gentlmanly manner, though for more of being a smart ass than anything. These two were odd that was for sure but, maybe, just maybe they would be his new friends.
"Gee, that's too bad. I'm sure if you guys talked more you could come to some sort of understanding..."
"Maybe..."
"Feel free to lead the way whenever you would like"
Almost perfect timing for Vergil to say something. Seiji really didn't want to talk about Hisashi anymore right now. He could do without. It had seemed Seiji had made two new friends, and they were gonna go get noodles.
Seiji reflected upon the things he had talked about with Masanori. He had some good points and this could, in fact, help Seiji get along with Hisashi. Would it happen anytime soon? Probably not, they were rivals for the hand of Kimiko, and Hisashi made it clear that he would stop at nothing to get her. Seiji would have to tread carefully.
Seiji began to walk off to the noodle shop. Maybe they would talk again after this, but who knew? Not knowing if he would see his friends again, Seiji would have a good time while he could.
