The 4th seat's comment just made Michael blush more. Had he really squeaked? Oh god he was such an idiot and he kicked himself for it. Maybe this whole thing hadn't been such a good idea. It was obvious now, curse his want to be a better Shinigami. But the woman holding him, Kaida Date, snickered and squeezed him again, pressing her chest against his back once more, which brought him right back out of is funk. Why was she being so kind to him? Surely he didn't deserve it. But, it was certainly not unwelcome. She had certainly just saved him from certain pain and misery. Suddenly without warning she gripped his hand and took him away from the area, heading out where everyone else was sparring.
Her words made him feel safe for some odd reason. Maybe because they seemed genuine or perhaps it was that she had just saved him from a sure punishment. Perhaps it was a combination of both, no one would know, not even Michael. "T-thank you Kaida Date-Senpai." She then regained her position behind him and wrapped her arms around him making him blush once more. He was starting to think she was enjoying this... Her back pressed against her front again and he blushes redder. Why was she so physical with him? He just didn't know. Her hands rested on his shoulders and he tensed up as they began to slide down his arms. Was he flexing or was he nervous? Not even he was sure of that either.
Her cheek was right near his! His whole face flushed red. Was he truly nervous or just embarass? He guessed a little bit of both. "Yes... Date-Senpai." He said a little ashamed. She consoled him again, granted, a little teasingly but, it was the thought that counted. He followed her hands coercion towards his blades hilt. She went on to teach him how to draw a zanpakuto? This, he guessed was technically a lesson though... the words she used were again... suggestive. The giggle didn't help shape that fact either. He had however read about a style that focused completely on drawing their sword but, the name for now escaped him. He gripped is zanpakuto and hesitated a bit. "Well here goes nothing." He murmured as he quickly drew his blade but... it caught on the scabbard and flipped on to the ground below them. His jaw dropped open and he looked absolutely stunned by the stupidity that had just happened...
