With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Normally, she would have ran from the blast. Normally, she'd be prepared to parry the blast, and the hit. Normally she'd smile, but this wasn't normal.
He released his shikai, but she didn't budge an inch. She felt him move, and a reiatsu source speed toward her. She swiftly cut with her trident into the air. To anyone else, it would've been rather odd. She still kept her eyes close as she felt him close in.
Opening her cold, emotionless eyes she jumped up as water exploded from the space in the air where she had cut. "Hikisaku!" she roared, as the water poured out.
It would keep the blast at bay for a few seconds, as well as spew toward him. She took the chance to slyly carve a a circle into the ground. A foot wide, with a "G" in the middle of it. As she finished, she did a lithe backflip onto a tree. She held her spear like a bat, and a yellow energy formed at the tip.
"Bakudo Number Four: Hainawa." she swung the spear as a yellow chain was hurled to the man.
She looked down at her enemy, and calculated ways that she could get him onto her Kenketsusen Eikyou. The easiest was to swing him onto it, or to slowly force him to step on it with kido, and Hikisaku.
As the water sprayed onto the fire, it was immediately put out, and forced Kazuki back as he was trailing behind it. His feet hooked into reishi particles and he was gone in another flash of a shunpo. He re-appeared several times as he bounced from tree to tree like a ricocheting bullet. Finally though, he dove back in.
Unfortunately, due to the velocity at which he had been moving, he hadn't heard the bakudo being summoned. Because of this, the chain hooked his ankle just as he was about to go into another shunpo to close the distance and deliver another blow. He, instead, immediately slammed into the side of a tree rather roughly. He took another course, though and drew back his sheath before hurling it at her end over end. The wooden would-be weapon hurled end over end in an attempts to strike her right side, though what his target was wasn't clear--save the fact that it had been aimed as a body shot.
The strong hiss of the steam was nothing but a background noise to her. Her focus was unshakable as she stared him down. He dove in and out as he was trying to get closer to her. She allowed herself one malicious grin, as Hainawa wrapped around his ankle. As he hurled his sheath, she merely jumped down.
The yellow rope would proceed to hang him from the branch as she descended. As she landed, she drew a circle in the ground with her spear. As she finished up the foot wide circle, she drew an "H" in the middle. She looked up, and pulled down with a hard yank. She hoped he'd fall into one of her techniques. However, she was a cautious person.
She gripped the rope with both hands, "Hado Number Eleven: Tsuzuri-Raiden" she chanted, as the electrical spark slid down the chain.
She took a deep breath, and quickly took up a defensive stance. Hits weren't something that he'd be allowed to land on her.

As she leaped down, he was pulled upwards. As his foot was whipped out from underneath himself, though, he managed to use his free hand before slamming into the ground, a means to keep himself from eating dirt.
Literally.
When he reached the peak, dangling from the branch, he performed an inverted sit up, a testament to his lean, strong muscles and worked at the chain with his free hand, attempting to free himself. Before he could achieve this though, his head snapped back down as he felt her reiatsu surge slightly. His stern gaze met hers.
"Hado Number Eleven"
In speed that was, essentially Kazuki Kobayashi, he whipped his sword towards the trunk driving it in point first before grabbing the short swords hilt with both hands.
"Tsuzuri-Raiden!"
And then came the electrical current. It traveled up the chain quickly, hitting his ankle and immediately traversed his body, looking for an exit. Using the sword as an extension of himself, and essentially his body as a circuit, the current traversed through him, into his sword, and discharged into the tree, which was grounded by it's roots in the ground. Despite this, the tree's bark exploded from the current, though not enough to topple the thick, ancient plant. While it stung like hell, he felt he had gotten off pretty easy.
Ripping his sword out and down, lava coursed from it in the same motion, a blob of lava rocketing forth. The trajectory of it would send it whizzing harmlessly over her head, latching onto another large, ancient tree's base on the other side of the clearing.
She watched carefully, at every single twitch he made. She stared on as he attempted to get the kido off, and she giggled a bit. It's not like a kido would be easy to get rid of, but whatever. Some people needed to experience an exercise in futility to realize they're position.
He stabbed his sword into the tree as the bolts traveled through him, however the majority exited his body via the sword. The bark exploded, and she dispersed the kido. He lobbed a projectile at her, and she lifted her spear to block it. It went over her head, and she grinned at him.
"Someone should work on their ai-" she was cut off, as she heard a large groan.
She had barely any time to react, she moved as fast as she could with her shunpo before it landed on her ankle. She cried out, but she mostly kept her eyes on him. She lifted her spear, and struck it through the tree, cracking it enough for her to cut in half. It was a clean break, but it wasn't going to be easy to walk on.
...but that wouldn't matter. She formed a plot in her head quickly, as she began to retreat behind her circle with the "H" in the middle of it. If it didn't work, she'd have to get even more crafty than she was.
