With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Something strange indeed started to happen as the young Yugito pressed the button on the vibrating breast, they changed into the shape it originally had. An onyx box that Mikhail had received as a booby prize from a Madman in a back ally some time ago.
The box began to glow bright, then fade back to black, but it wasn't over. With a sudden flash of light, brighter than any light imaginable.
The light circled the young couple, preventing escape as the two began to fall into the phenomenon. Nothing can be seen outside the bubble of light as the wind below picked up speed.
No noise can be heard inside the bubble and no noise was heard outside. The senses were shut off, the only one left of touch as the time seemed to go on forever.
What had started only a few moments ago, disappeared with little change to the two. But when the slight blindness fades, a ringing noise of the morning bell for the school rang.
Subtle changes can be noticed, if one paid closes enough attention. Other students that are entering the building had a slightly different uniform. The trees outside are slightly larger then they were before. Just these subtle changes can be easily dismissed as tricks to the eyes.
As the two entered the school, a newspaper blew past, hitting the wall outside the Karakura school. The scene comes in close to the date before it blows off again. The year was twenty years more then when Yugito pressed that button.
As it blew away the paper, a plaque was in its place revealing a memorial in honor of a Faculty member's death. They name is unreadable as it was tarnished from the time, but a good polish will reveal more than just a name.
As soon as she pushed the button, Yugito knew she shouldn't have done it.
The breasts in her hands changed shape, however that happened, into a small black box that emmitted a strange, bright glow. Instantly, as the glow died, she dropped the box, clattering on the sidewalk as she stepped back.
"What...just happened...?" she asked, thinking it was over. It wasn't.
As she stepped back, away from the object, another bright light circled the two of them, forming a barrier between the two students and the rest of the world. The light was so bright that Yugito was blinded, and the wind was so powerful that all she could hear was its roar. Clamping her eyes shut, she pressed her hands over her ears, confused as to the phenomenon happening around them.
"MIKHAIL!" she screamed, but even she couldn't hear her own voice over the sound of the raging wind that blew.
She couldn't see, she couldn't hear, and she was trapped in some sort of light prison with no way out. She tried to walk backwards, but was only met with an invisible wall that prevented her escape. Where was Mikhail!? Was he there with her, or was she alone? Her heart pounded in her chest as her mind raced in total and utter confusion.
I'M GOING TO DIE!
But...after what felt like an eternity, the wind died down and the light dimmed...as if nothing happened at all. Yugito sank down to her knees, planting her hands on the sidewalk as she bent over, almost hyperventilating.
She could hear the ringing of the school bells, signalling the start of class. Slightly shaken, Yugito felt as if her legs were jelly and didn't even bother trying to stand.

The strange, breast-shaped object glowed, and reverted to its original shape. A shape that Mikhail finally recognized and was shocked to see, as he had left it home. The black box with the red button on top, the only warning given was never to press it. The madman in the alley had eyed it with such curiousity, he wanted to press it but wouldn't dare. Now the thing acted like it had a mind of its own, It followed Mikhail and changed its shape somehow.
Whatever it was meant for, it was too late now. Yugito dropped the box with a startled expression.
"What... just happened...?" she asked, but Mikhail didn't have time to answer, as a blinding light circled the two of them. Mikhail's put his hand up over his face as the light flooded his vision. A powerful wind cut off any noise as Mikhail shouted for Yugito. He struggled to see or hear anything around himself. All he knew was where Yugito was a moment ago and instictively, he reached for her.
His hand touched something and he grasped hold. It was sometime before the light and wind died down. Yugito fell to her knees and Mikhail knelt with her. He was out of breath and felt dizzy but she seemed a little worse for the ride. He put his hand on her back in an effort to reassure her as he shook his head, his hazel eyes glancing around nervously. He blinked several times as the bell for school rang. Nothing seemed to have changed really. They were still at school just where they were moments before, and there were other students heading in for the morning.
"W-what happened...?" Yugito asked him shakily.
"I,... I don't know. Nothing,... I think..." Mikhail chuckled nervously. "...Maybe it was just a trick after all."
A newspaper blew past but Mikhail wasn't paying attention, he was more worried about Yugito.
"Are you alright? I'm really sorry, I had no idea that weird guy's box would follow me around like that. The box?!" Mikhail knew he had a little more explaining to do then that, but turned his head to look for where Yugito had dropped the box. Was it still there? It was only then as he was looking around that he saw just a few small easily dismissable things. Were the trees that tall? Were the kids wearing their uniforms a bit differently?
Mikhail scratched his head and turned back to Yugito maybe she had fallen over the box...

"Are you alright? I'm really sorry, I had no idea that weird guy's box would follow me around like that. The box?!"
"I'm okay..." Yugito replied, slowly getting to her feet. She was still a little shaky, and her head was spinning, but it was getting better. "And...the box? I don't have it..." she added, noticing a lack of a certain box that had caused all this nonsense.
She looked around. Nothing seemed strange, but she swore the trees around the school were thinner than that. Well, she never really paid much attention to the trees, so maybe her eyes were just playing tricks on her.
Did she just imagine the whole thing? It certainly didn't feel like she did...she was still dizzy and her heart was pounding. If that was some sort of magic, illusion trick or something, it was damn well a good one.
"Ah! The bell rang!" she said suddenly, remembering the familiar sound of the morning bell. "And we have history first period! Makana-sensei is going to kill us!" She grabbed Mikhail's hand and began to drag him towards the building. As she walked through the now-empty courtyard, she noticed a single sheet of newspaper tumbling across, landing on a...something on the wall. Wait, something?
As the page blew off, an old plaque was revealed, the words on it unreadable. Yugito stopped in her tracks, looking at the unknown plaque curiously.
"Was this thing always here?" she asked, turning to Mikhail and pointing at it, "I've never seen it before."

Mikhail helped Yugito up to her feet and looked around on the ground. Aside from a slightly nauseated, spinning feeling from whatever happened, it didn't seem like the strange box did much anything. Still, he thought it was a good idea for him to recover it before they did anything. He finally saw it sitting in a patch of grass and snatched it up, just as Yugito grabbed his other hand and yanked him away.
"Wha?! Makana-sensei? Oh right, let's go." He was dragged, err followed Yugito along, until she stopped in her tracks, questioning the plaque on the wall.
"Huh, me neither. What is it?" You'd think that after a couple of years you would notice a plaque on the wall outside the front of the school.
Hazel eyes glanced to the side again as the newspaper tumbled across the grass, there was something odd about it that he couldn't quite grasp. Come to think of it it didn't look like the one his father was looking at as he ran out this morning.

"Look alive! If you hadn't noticed, that was the late bell."
From behind the couple stood the one person that could answer their question. She had shoulder length dark brown bangs with a long pony tail tied in the back. Her green eyes were fiercely staring at the two through a pair of reading glasses. Arms crossed over a modest bust, on the right she wore a band that identified her as a Senior Class hall monitor.
The uniform she wore was definitely newer, more streamline version of what Yugito was wearing. Standing just about the same height as Mikhail, this slender, yet muscular girl tapped her foot impatiently.
Dead serious, the air around her was very ominous as she attempted to impose her full authority over the couple. She didn't know who these kids were, but by the looks of those old uniforms they were some mountain exchange students or from the docks. Boonie brats, they just seem to be a couple of airheads.
Suddenly, uncrossing her arms, Riza started to crack her knuckles and gave the classic gangster girl smile with her head tilted. "Unless you two want to deal with me, I suggest you get to class." She had a certain familiar gleam in her eyes, not unlike Makana when someone was passing a note in her class. On her right wrist, a leather bracelet with an Irish cross attached to it glowed slightly.
As Yugito was about to rub her hand on the plaque, a voice suddenly came out from behind them. Spinning around, she came face to face with one giant girl, about the same age as her yet as tall as Mikhail. There was something familiar about this girl, but Yugito couldn't put her finger on it.
"Look alive! If you hadn't noticed, that was the late bell."
"Late bell? What the hell are you talking about? There's only one bell!" she retorted, "And who the hell do you think you are, anyway?"
She looked at the girl's uniform, the strange piece of clothing it was. While it resembled the one she wore, there were differences which could mean that whoever this girl was, she probably didn't go to this school. And Senior Class Hall Monitor? What the hell was a hall monitor from another school doing here?
She felt the air around the girl darken as she started to crack her knuckles, grinning like a woman ready to beat the shit out of late students.
"Unless you two want to deal with me, I suggest you get to class."
Oh, okay, so that's how it was going down. Without even paying attention to whatever Mikhail was saying, she threw her bag at him, the look in the strange girl's eyes ignored, as if Yugito had been used to it. Well, in a way, she was used to that sort of look...she got it from Makana-sensei all the time.

As Mikhail was narrowing his eyes trying to make out the words on the paper that fluttered past a authoritative female voice rang out behind the couple.
"Look alive! If you hadn't noticed, that was the late bell."
Mikhail looked up and behind with this kinda dumbfounded expression, then blinked curiously. Up close that streamline uniform looked pretty cool. She had a band that identified her as a Senior class hall monitor but Mikhail could swear he'd never seen this girl before in his life. Seriously, you would figure that someone that got into trouble as much as he had in the past would know the hall monitors, espeically those in the same grade.
"Uh,... huh?" Was all he got out before Yugito said what he was thinking.
"Late bell? What the hell are you talking about? There's only one bell! And who the hell do you think you are, anyway?"
Well he wasn't gonna put it exactly like that, Yugito could get really irritable sometimes couldn't she? Certainly things could be handled diplomatically right?
"Listen, we were just on our way to class but um,..."
The girl started cracking her knuckles and smirked like she had been looking for an opportunity to beat someone down today.
"Unless you two want to deal with me, I suggest you get to class."
Mikhail blinked again, guessing she really would rather talk with her fists. She had this irritated look almost like Makana-sensei got, kinda creepy there. It was a shame that Mikhail was horrible at detecting spiritual energies or he might have picked up on the flaring energy signature. Instead, he opened his mouth to speak but before he could, Yugito, who was ignoring what he said anyway, flung her bag into his grasp and said something that sounded like it should probably not be uttered by polite young ladies. He didn't know what it was, but it wasn't something he wanted directed at him.
The bag slung into his grasp he looked at it, then at Yugito, then at the strange new girl. Was Yugito gonna get into a fight with this girl?

Oh, Riza was going to enjoy this. Not only were these two as sharp as bowling balls, but the girl wanted a go at her. HER! Riza Dylandy, the untouchable queen of Karakura High. "Alright, I guess it's time to teach the Boonie lass a lesson." Riza approached Yugito but before she could do anything, and believe me she wanted to do something, her phone rang.
Placing the moment on hold, Riza pulled her awesome looking cell out and her face turned sour. "Hello Mother. No, I'm not getting into a fight. Yes, I know our insurance won't cover any more kids. Yes, I know I know. Yea, love ya too. Bye." Things turned weird that moment as she returned the phone back from which she got it.
Riza looked at Yugito and Mikhail for a second, sighed, and scratched her head. "Look, the deal is simple enough even boonies like you guys can figure it out." She placed her left hand on her hip as she presented a peace sign for her explanation. "Two chimes are sent out at the beginning of the day. One for ten minute warning, another for being late. You two may be new, but that's not an excuse for ignorance." Now she sounded disappointed, maybe this was a way out for them.
Not likely, she grinned all of a sudden and caught Yugito by the mid section with a tight grip. Regardless of how Yugito reacted, she was going to take them to the office. Placing the lass over her shoulder, Riza made sure to cover the important part of under the skirt and started to walk toward the doors. "I may not be allowed to get in a fight today, but I'm sure as hell going to take you guys to the office." The evil glint in her eye made it clear she was serious, as for Mihail, he wasn't much of a threat at the moment.
As she walked, the students inside the building looked on with delight at the show. They knew Riza Dylandy, they new her rep, and they knew not to mess with her. "HEY RIZA! Went fishing again?" One male student yelled outside from a window before the others behind him began to laugh.
Riza flipped them the bird as she continued to go toward the school. "Damn brats." Speaking under her breath.
