With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Seiji sat up in a tree, as usual, relaxing as he does always. He was suppose to be on a mission, but well, the last time he was on a mission here he had gotten attacked by a random menos, he thought maybe he could catch a few extra z's instead of looking for one little hollow... Or was it little at all? He didn't know, or care at this particular moment.
It's a good day to relax! I'm glad they gave me an easy one... Well it was suppose to be an easy one, and it's even easier than I thought. Seiji closed his eyes and rested a bit more while he waited for a good time to go look for this hollow.
Ikazuchi's voice could be heard echoing inside Seiji's head... "Damn it Seiji! We can be training! And you think I'm a lazy monkey..."
Seiji sighed and started speaking to Ikazuchi out loud. "Ikazuchi, you know I don't think of you like that. Just simmer down we will get back to training when we go back..."
CRASHHH!!!
A crash was heard a little ways from where he was and it startled him. So much, in fact, that he fell off the tree he was in! He rubbed his head and decided to go check it out. He poked his head out of the bushes to see a car crash... Stupid humans.... Seiji turned around to go back to his tree. He got there and looked up in it to see someone in it, who, he had no idea, but he would find out.
She was so close to victory, that she could taste it. Literally. She edged closer, and closer. The tree beneath her creaked in protest and she told it to quietly "shush", before setting her eyes back on the prize.
Tsuki was approaching the home of a squirrel that had many, MANY acorns in its hole. She inched closer, and closer hoping that she wouldn't wake the furry beast up.
One more step, and all the acorns in the world would be hers. So she took that last step.
And it snapped.
Startled, she used her shunpo and ran away as fast as she could. She stopped at another tree and sat down on the branch, catching her breath.
Ugh, you are such a god damned moron! her inner hollow yelled at her. She frowned, sometimes he was just so rude to her.
Ah, don't listen to him Tsuki. You're intelligent...sometimes. he said, cheerfully. She smiled and started humming to herself.
Seiji saw the girl in his spot. Damn it! THAT WAS HIS SPOT! Time to get it back! He looked up and folded his arms. "Hey! YOU! That is my tree, my spot!" Seiji yelled at the person in his spot.
At first there was no response, just humming coming from the girl. What the hell was going on? Did she not hear him? Either way, he jumped up and stood on the branch before the girl... Although there was something off, he didn't think about it, he just wanted his spot back.
"Hey! I was talking to you! Why are you in my tree?!" Seiji asked. Wow, this girl was dense, she didn't hear him the first time, would she this next time?
Seiji could feel the branch crackle under him... Hopefully it wouldn't...
SNAP!
Seiji plummeted downward! The branch had broken about halfway, leaving the girl up there on the half branch that was left. "Damn tree..."
As she was humming, Suikotsu tugged at her mentally.
Hey, dumbass. There's someone below you, look alive and try not to sound like an idiot. he chastised, in his usual rude manner.
Honesenshi sighed at the man. Together, Tsuki and Suikotsu were truly unbearable.
Suikotsu, shut the hell up. However, Tsuki, there is someone below you. he said, admitting the truth of the matter.
As Tsuki looked down, she saw no one.
"You guys are crazy, no one--" she began to say, but was immediately cut off by a man who had jumped up on the branch with her.
"Hey! I was talking to you! Why are you in my tree?!" the man screamed at her.
She blinked twice, before she busted out laughing at the man.
"Uhmmm, sir. This tree belongs to the squirrels, duh, not you!" she said, still laughing, as if he was the dumb one.
To make it even funnier, the man preceded to snap the branch and fall on the ground. Tsuki laughed so hard, that she actually fell onto the ground, but still continue to laugh at the man.
"Uhmmm, sir. This tree belongs to the squirrels, duh, not you!" The girl laughed hard at Seiji, so hard in fact that she had fell off the tree.
Seiji blinked a few times. The squirrels? Since when did they own the trees? "Squi-squirrels? Now wait a minute! I was sitting in that tree and there were no squirrels in it! That was my sleeping spot dammit!" Seiji became somewhat angered by the girl mocking him. Sure, squirrels live in the trees, but own them?
Seiji stood up and dusted himself off. He proceeded by walking closer to the girl. He decided that he should ignore the previous comment and introduce himself. It was common courtesy after all, and Seiji didn't wanna be rude.
"Well, anyway... My name is Seiji..." he extended his hand to shake the girls, "... and you are?" he asked wanting to know this person. She was quite different. She looked like a regular old Shinigami, but felt like something else... Kinda like a hollow, but not quite like a hollow. This brought up the curious part of Seiji and 21 questions began.
"You aren't a normal shinigami are you? Then what are you? You feel like a hollow, look like a shinigami, but aren't one or the other, so what are you?" his questions trailed off as he was intrigued by this sensation of mixed reiatsu. Could she be what they called a 'vizard'? If that, then how did she come to be one? Seiji had so many questions, and he wanted them all answered, but would they be? Probably not, seeing as how his questions are never really answered but avoided.
"Squi-squirrels? Now wait a minute! I was sitting in that tree and there were no squirrels in it! That was my sleeping spot dammit!" the man yelled, seeming somewhat angered.
She stopped laughing, to assess him. After looking at his face, she began to laugh again. Well obviously the squirrels were inside of the tree! Why were people so stupid? HeeHeeHee.
Jesus, you shrieking banshee. Shut the fuck up! her inner hollow screeched, causing her to sit up and cross her arms.
Frowning, she noticed that the funny man was still talking to her. What was he saying?
"Well, anyway... My name is Seiji..." he said, introducing himself to the young vizard.
"Well...the squirrels live in the tree! Therefore it is theirs! she said firmly, "And, my name is Tsuki! she finished, with a smile.
"You aren't a normal shinigami are you? Then what are you? You feel like a hollow, look like a shinigami, but aren't one or the other, so what are you?"
Tsuki put a finger to her chin and tilted her head to the side. Well yeah, she had a hollow and a Zanpakuto spirit in her. But she didn't know whether or not to admit it to the man. If Hinata-kun was there, she would've answered for her, or told her what to say. Boy, without Hinata life sure was confusing.
Go ahead Tsuki, just don't leak too much information. Honesenshi advised.
She nodded, then looked up at the man, "I am a Vizard. I am a Shinigami who also has an inner hollow! And I even get this cool mask! Wanna see?!" she asked, excited.
"Well...the squirrels live in the tree! Therefore it is theirs!" she said firmly, "And, my name is Tsuki!" she finished, with a smile.
Seiji gave a slight smile back. It was always nice meeting new people for Seiji, even though it didn't happen often. He had now met a vizard, who was a very interesting person. Then he realized what she said before she had introduced herself. Preposterous! Squirrels couldn't own trees!
"Just because they live there doesn't make it their's! They are only little squirrels, how can they own it?" This argument was going nowhere fast. He decided to drop it. "You know what? Nevermind."
She nodded, then looked up at the man, "I am a Vizard. I am a Shinigami who also has an inner hollow! And I even get this cool mask! Wanna see?!" she asked, excited.
Seiji cocked his head to the side a bit. He had only heard of them, but he had also heard they were much stronger than any shinigami out there, or were suppose to be anyway.
"Ummm... Sure, I'll take a look." Seiji gave a slight smile. He was curious, like usual, but something felt off. Maybe it was just because he didn't know what a vizard could really do. Either way he was ready to see this 'mask' of hers.
