Name: Goo'Sal "Sal" On'Ite
Actual Age: 204
Appearing Age: Late teens/Early twenties
Sal is a tall, muscular male figure. He stands at 6'3" and weighs in at 220 lbs. The top of his head is covered in black hair. His hair parts to have a single, triangular bang that comes down to about an inch past his eyebrows on the bridge of his nose. He has a pair of bangs on either side of his head that fall a bit shorter than this middle piece. These bangs lead to a pair of sharp black eyes. These thin eyes match to a somewhat thin face. However, Sal possess a rather pronounced jawline.
This thin face contrasts to his rather muscular build. Sal's shoulders are broad and thus his torso is quite wide. Every bit of this wide torso is packed with muscle tone. This wide torso is flanked by long, large arms. His lower body is built to match. The muscles in his leg built for power as well as speed.
Sal wears a rather standard Arrancar uniform. His shirt has long, thin sleeves and is left open over the torso. This reveals his small Hollow hole at the bottom of his sternum. Lastly, his mask fragment is a small piece of jaw on the right side of his face beside his mouth. He wears his longsword Zanpakuto on his left hip.
Sal has...quite the quick temper, and he's one to quickly turn to violence to solve his problems. Or...whatever he perceives to be his problems. To be honest, he's not dumb but Sal is far from wise. He's easily fooled and only really applies his at best average intelligence when violence is afoot.
Speaking of violence, it is one of Sal's favorite things. He loves a fight, just for a fight's sake. He doesn't much care who wins, as long as it's a good fight. He doesn't believe that harm should ever be inflicted unless it's in a good ole fight. Verbal abuse and torture are both seen as cowardly to him.
Outside of violence and his temper, Sal is really just a big softy looking for friends. He typically springs on those he meets and tries to instantly befriend them. That is, until they piss him off (which doesn't take much). But on the whole, he's quite welcoming to strangers. Though his handshake might involve the business end of his longsword. He believes that friends should be totally up for a fight, whenever he wants it.
In conjunction with his desire for friends, he also desires respect as well as power. He believes that the latter will yield the former, so he chases after power to get it. He loves it when anyone is even just being borderline respectful towards him. Small things such as the honorific "san" will make him feel super entitled and "sama" swells his ego like a balloon. In accordance with this, he always want to look and act cool because he feels it will garner him respect and friends.
On the random notes, he loves reptiles, plush dolls, and anything shiny. He dismissively refers to everyone as "bro" regardless of gender or age. Sal dislikes birds, the color yellow, flightless birds, the ocean, birds of prey, cowardice, and the expression "bird's eye view". He really, really hates birds. He also detests being called "Goo"; he'll go to war over it.
Goo'Sal's name was not always as it is today, which seems obvious in retrospect because no one in their right mind would name a child "Goo'Sal". However, his real name was of little importance as were most aspects of his life. He grew up and learned the trade of smithing from his father. He spent his life near the flames perfecting his craft of the forge. Eventually, he came to be a respected smith among his village and grew old with his family. A mundane life for a mundane man.
His time spent as a Plus was a little less mundane. At first he was content to simply watch over those he'd left behind and wait to pass on. But then years passed and he grew bitter. His loved ones had not forgotten him, but had stopped praying for him and stopped mentioning him. They had moved on, and he wasn't ready to see that. No Shinigami had come to perform Konso on him and eventually, he became a Hollow.
As most Hollows do, his first targets were his family. After his first "meal", with some semblance of sanity left in him, he was disgusted by what he'd done. As such, he wanted to die. He wanted to die as soon as he possibly could. Having no knowledge of Shinigami, Sal did the only he knew to do that could kill him quickly: he fought other Hollows.
Unfortunately for him, he kept winning. Eventually, he forgot why he fought as he lost his reasoning and forgot the man he used to be. All Sal knew was that he had to fight and he didn't care who won. It was also during this time that he grew to hate birds. While it might be silly, he found them to be smug bastards for defecating where ever they pleased. As a general rule, when he wasn't fighting, he was trying to kill birds. He began to feel his old self slip away.
. . .
At some point, he became assimilated into a Gillian Menos Grande. He supposed he could've just laid back and accepted being part of the hivemind, but that wasn't his style! So, he took that shit over and went around being all big and scary. Despite this, his goals never really changed. He kept devouring other Hollows. It was much easier now that he had access to cero and was massive. He sometimes killed other Gillian because they just kinda hung out in the forest and didn't seem too aggressive. In fact, so many of the Gillian seemed mindless to him...why was that?
Regardless of the reason, Sal eventually decided that the Gillian life was not for him. So he kept eating and eating until finally he poofed into a less grotesque and more badass looking Hollow. It was at this point that he donned his new name, having acquired it from some random noises he made. He took the second syllable as he preferred name, "Goo" just sounded dumb.
He was smaller but could still do Menos Grande stuff like shooting Hollow and otherwise being awesome. He kinda stopped playing for keeps at this point. After all, the other adjuchas were somewhat reasonable (some of them were at least) and he found they could hang out and kill lesser Hollows together. It was great, until it wasn't.
At some point infighting became a real problem among the group as some were not pleased with their progress. Thus, Sal's so called "friends" turned on each other and eventually him. Insults had been fine, but they came at him physically now. He didn't want to lose his friends this way, but Sal didn't know how to hold back. After the not so awesome fight, Sal decided that yelling and insults could only lead to not great fights. He wanted no part in any of that. With his friends gone, he experienced another period of loneliness.
It didn't last forever though. There was this whole...evil Shinigami that came around making people "Arranameancarrs" and Sal hoped on that like a large marsupial. With some quick flashes of light and some voodoo magic, Sal was turned back into a human-form. He had a sword now though, so that was cool! He could also go all Dragon Knight on people which was beyond cool. In short, Sal was pretty happy to be an Arrancar.
As an early numeros, Sal didn't really do much. He listened to the Espada and Aizen and anyone else that looked important. But, for the most part, he just hung around and tried to make some friends and find some nice fights. The friends were hard to make and the fights were hard to find. Eventually though, he picked a fight with a Shinigami that was having none of that. The little black-clad pipsqueak made a clone of himself and then cut him up right good. The crappy thing was that the Shinigami used some magic to make it to where Sal couldn't really fight. A "Bakumadokado" or some shit. It was dumb and Sal hated it!
After some healing, Sal figured he should get stronger so he could break out of crappy spells which kept him from fighting. It was during this period of training that he learned how to use his fire attack in his Dragon Knight form, he wanted to show that off. He also wanted to fight that short, talkative Shinigami again and show him that having a big weapon was tons cooler than not having a big weapon. Finally, he wanted to train so he could get faster. That way, he could kill pesky birds. He really hated birds.
Ever since then, Sal has dedicated most of his free time to training and trying to find friends who can help him train. He hopes to make headway in the both of these, but he's had some problems. Sal's spent some time in the World of the Living, but making friends with humans and archery humans is rough. He got attacked a couple times when he was trying to make friends. Sal was okay with that, but his fights kept getting interrupted by some uncool people. It was really a pain. In his quest for companions, Sal's only really made enemies.

Name: Armadura Maltida
Translation - Cursed Armor
Call Out Phrase: Breathe
Translation - N/A
Sal's unreleased zanpakuto takes on the form of a long sword. The blade has a length of 38 inches and is the unaltered color of steel. The hand guard of this blade is a thick line that is parallel to the edges of the sword. The ends of this thick line are pointed down towards the hilt and are pointed at the tip. The hand guard has a black wrapping leading to an uneventful round pommel. In all, the handle measures 12 inches including the pommel.
When Sal releases his sword, he is engulfed in a small fire which is really only for show. Sal's Resurreccion takes on the form of a draconic armor that wraps over him. The form thus stands as tall as he does. The helm of the armor has a dragon appearance with two long pieces that flow back beyond his head. The face of the helm is an indented flat black, while the jaw has teeth which line the opening. The body of the armor is steel and very segmented. The segments have black trim. The shoulder pieces and segments along his biceps are spiked. The digits of the armor are claws. Along the belt, there are two pieces of black cloth on the back hips which stream down to his mid calf.
This armor offers no extra protection or durability beyond that of his basic Hierro. His Hierro is moved to the armor as a sort of exoskeleton which leaves his flesh inside the armor without protection. Thus, his armor is only as strong as his Hierro and beneath that is the resistance of normal skin. It also does not hamper his range of motion either nor does it augment him in any special way that a normal Resurreccion would not.
In his Resurreccion, Sal's long sword changes form to become a long heavy spear. The head of the spear is shaped like a winged arrow head and is colored red. Below the spearhead is a circle filled with a cross. The shaft then extends, also the color of steel. In total, the spear is sixty-four inches long; the head extends sixteen inches from the shaft. The radius of the shaft is approximately two inches.
- Description of Attack - Sal calls out "Ignis" and ignites the end of his spear. A low fire continues to burn around his spearhead until he ceases pumping reiatsu into it or runs out of time with the technique. The fire can cause superficial burns to complement the damage of his spear.
- Type - Transformation
- Range - Self
- Limitation - Sal has next to no control of the fire that surrounds his spearhead. All he can do is turn it off or on. Thus, he can't do any sort of flame based moves other than simply empowering his spear with it. He can only maintain the fire for five minutes before running out of energy for it.
Because the fire is based on his reiatsu expenditure, it deals variable damage based on how strong his opponent is. Those two tiers below Sal will sustain heavy burns around the area of impact. Those a tier below will feel a weak second degree burn along the affected area. Those on par with Sal will feel first degree burn from the attack. Enemies a tier above Sal will barely notice the burning, and may only feel warm. Any higher than that, and it won't really do anything. However, the time of contact also matters. Those Sal's tier or lower can sustain heavier damage if exposed to the fire for an extended period of time.
(OOC: Do I...Do I gotta?)
With a puffed chest, and three point five tons of bravado, Sal was takin' a stroll! His swagger filled the halls as he walked about Las Noches, making his presence known. Perhaps someone would come out or notice him. Perhaps he could make a friend. Perhaps he could find a really good fight. He grinned from ear to ear as he turned his head to look down the halls. Was no one around? Seriously? LAME!
He quickened his pace but did not lessen the pomp in his stride. What was the point of walking if ya didn't make an entrance, ya know? Not that there was anything to make an entrance to, but that didn't really matter to him. Everything was an entrance if you were showy enough! Once again, he turned his head and looked for some...anyone. "Anybody out there?!"
Without an immediate answer, Sal lost his patience and quickly turned heal and began to stride the other way with his head held high. Too high to see. CRASH! In an instant, he'd bumped into some imaginary invisible opponent that had struck the mighty Sal when his guard was down. Shaking his head and narrowing his eyes, Sal quickly scanned for the culprit. "Who in the 'ell did that?!" He questioned quickly.
The "culprit" was one Alexei Romanov who had simply wondered to see what all the fuss was about. But Sal didn't know or care about any of that. This was just a somewhat big dude that had bumped into him. "Why dontcha watch where ya goin', bro?" He interrogated, perfectly ignoring that it was he who'd closed his eyes.
"I'm very sorry Arrancar-san. You turned a little quicker than I anticipated."
"Well, that's soundin' like you need to be 'areful. Or I'm gonna 'ough ya up a bit." Hell, he might still rough him up a bit. Sal was spoiling for a good fight. And this burly dude might be just the fight he was after. His grin did not falter.
"Oh, there's no need for that Arrancar-san. I'll get out of your way; it won't happen again." It was really hard to be mad at the guy when he kept being so damn nice. After all, he kinda liked the way "Arrancar-san" sounded. It was like...being an Espada or just an older fart. People always used "san" with old farts. But Espada, they got called "sama" didn't they?
"Well 'ell, y'know what? If ya sweeten the deal from "Arrancar-san" to "Sal-sama", I'll let ya off with a warning this time bro. Cool?" He offered a small nod, he liked the guy. And besides, this dude didn't seem like a fighter. Though Sal could whip him into shape.
"Of course, Sal-sama." The dude nodded all polite-like. This was awesome!
"COOL! Well bro, I'll see ya. We'll fight later cool? Cool!" And, without waiting for the peace-loving Vizard to object, Sal ran off to find a real fight.
