Normally, she would never be out here in the Rukongai, but the Patrol Corps of the Onmitsukido has been lackluster since Omaeda is no more; albeit, not that it was up to par as it should have been even when was around to lead it. Despite, being of the Executive Militia within Onmitsukido - Sayuri is always gunning for rank, and now that she has recovered from her bout of severe exhaustion, she could resume as she had in the past. Currently patrolling to help fill the void with the Patrol Corps disorganization, there is always generally some sort of trouble within the Rukongai, even with Hollows every so often - it is not the most protected area, though it is typically criminals one sees.

Nothing more than a blurred shadow, if even that much of her was seen within an instant - Sayuri moved through the city's shadows with the grace and silence expected of a highly-trained assassin of the Onmitsukido as well as 2nd Division. Just wrapping up her patrol assignment she volunteered for to help out the Patrol Corps, she saw in the distance as she stood upon a high roof top, the immense gates to the Soul Society proper open and then close. Unable to recall anything particularly scheduled to allow entrance into the Rukongai dregs of society, she opted to investigate. Swiftly and silently she returned to the shadows darting through Rukongai unseen and unknown.

Coming from the gates walking into the Rukongai she saw to Gotei 13 members, one even a Captain, leading around a noble girl. Sayuri's eyes narrowed in disapproval of this, especially to her it looked like the two men looking as though they were attempting to favor curry for the young lady's hand. From the shadows she followed them for a ways to make certain nothing happened to the noble. The two men seemed to do well in looking tough for the young lady by intimidating a loud fool, but apparently they could o little against to a few kids tossing rocks at her.

Sayuri at this point was left quite unamused, abruptly appearing right in front of Kyoko in the pathway of the children's stones flying at the noble girl. Sayuri batted away a couple stones with her blinding speed withone hand, but caught one stone with her othe rhand and flung right back at the boy who tossed it. The stone bounced off of his and smacking into the noggin of the kid beside him, effectively hitting two punks with one stone. The children seeing her fast speed and then pegging two of their number with one stone, they ran off in fright.

It was in that moment Sayuri turned to Kyoko dismissing the kids completely as soon as they ran off and stated to her, "Nobles should not be here.", uttered in a sedated, blunt manner, and then went on to say almost with the tone of an order, "Go back into the Soul Society proper.", she ignored the two men completely (even though one of them is a Captain) as though her sole concern was the safety of Kyoko, viewing her as an object to be protect as though it were part of a mission.

Having been walking through the Rukongai as he often did, revisiting the place he found his zanpakuto, Shiro couldn't help but notice the children running in fear. When he stopped one of them, he asked what the problem was. The child recounted in a fearful voice the story of the woman who seemed to appear from thin air and pelt two children with one stone. The child convienently left out the part about the other two shinigami and the noble-woman.

Assuming the woman appearing out of thin air was a shinigami from the 2nd Division, Shiro decided to investigate. He had the child lead him to the place of the incident. Upon arriving, Shiro noticed the Captain first of all. Wondering what a captain would be doing out here, he continued to survey the area. When he noticed the other shinigami and the noble-woman, he figured the two shinigami were vying for the young ladies favor. He couldn't blame them of course, but it still wasn't proper behaviour.

Shiro's eyes stopped on the woman of the 2nd Division. When he saw her, he knew this was the woman the boy was complainig about. He swatted the kid on the back of the head and sent him on his way. Shiro decided to stay and see what happened between the shinigami and the noble-woman. The Onmitsukido, whose name he couldn't remember for the life of him, seemed pretty frustrated with the situation.

When Shiro heard the command from the 2nd Division member, he stepped from the shadows. He looked at the four people standing in the Rukongai, thinking this was quite an odd sight. He wondered how it must look for four shinigami, one of which was in the Onmitsukido, and a noble-woman to be standing deep in the Rukongai. He spoke confidently, but quietly, to the shinigami assassin. "I beleive the woman should be allowed to stay if she wishes. We all have our free will, and if she chooses to explore something strange to her, she should be allowed to. Especially if she has protection from two shinigami."

Roiben closed his eyes and looked at the two new shinigami.

"If the woman wants to travel the rukongai, let her. There's no need for concern. You two just run along back to do your jobs and quit slacking."

If the noble lady wanted to see the living conditions in rukongai, so be it. She needs to know not everyone is a pampered little baby like her. As bad as Roiben wanted to say that, it would have been improper for someone of his status to be shouting off. He turned back to the noble. Perhaps she'd had enough of Rukongai for one day.

"Do you want to go back, or keep traveling?"

Kyoko chewed on her bottom lip in frustration. Even people who don't know her still try to run her life! There was just no escaping it, she was always seen as a spoiled noble, too stupid to make her own decisions. All she wanted to do was get out of Soul Society for a little while. What harm was in that?

"What I want," She paused, dropping her broken parasol on the ground. "Is for you all to just leave me alone!" For once, her voice was louder than usual, the frustration she felt was evident in her tone. With the onslaught of tears stinging her eyes, she kicked off her geta and fled the scene as fast as she could, disappearing deep into the Rukongai while the others no doubt argued amongst themselves.

(Kyoko exits, let the hunt begin!)

Sayuri continued to hold a dull, unimpressed gaze in her eyes, "And those two Shinigami could not protect her from children throwing rocks... And there are far worse things in these districts than children with stones... I can assure you."

Though with the noble exclaiming her pathos and running off deeper into the Rukongai, Sayuri looked even more unamused, "Ara, ara, ara... Nobles stay in the Seireitei - where they are protected from the vile dregs of the Rukongai and what often endangers these districts... which is often its own vicious citizenry.", she said to the Shinigami before shimmering from sight from a flash of speed off to find the noble where ever she ran off to.

"I guess that answers the question then, doesn't it?" Shiro said as he flickered, then vanished from sight. Using shunpo, Shiro chased after the woman. He knew that if he did reach her, he would be second to find her. There was no way he could keep up with a member of the Onmitsukido.

"Why cant people just let others live their lives? So much control is placed over people and their actions. I don't like it, Jigoku."

"I know, Shiro. But there is nothing we can do. We are too low a position right now to be trying to change things. But one day, possibly one day soon, we can help people like that noble-woman to enjoy their lives more."

As he flash stepped through the forest in search for the woman, he thought about Jigoku's words. He wanted to make this place better. So he needed to get stronger. He almost hoped there would be a hollow attack so he could get in some training as he picked up the pace, moving as fast as his feet would carry him.

Roiben's right eye twitched. Did that noble just run away becuase people were treating her different? Well, this noble might be one he could get along with. Roiben headed off after her. He knew he had the best chance of catching her being a captain. A noble in Rukongai was bad news. A captain allowing a noble to die in rukongai would be bad news for him. Roiben sighed.

Once again, nobles were causing him so much grief.

However, he understood her. His feelings were the same as hers at one time, hating people for judging you by birth. He needed to catch up to her to not only save her, but help calm her down.
