"Eh, I don't have all -that- much ambition, and I'm sure someone is better suited for 4th seat than I am," she chuckled lightly, playing it off, when the reality was that she screwed up on the test, and didn't get a high enough grade for 4th seat.
Ahhh well.
She refrained from picking at the captain lest she get a reprimand, directly, or indirectly. And this guy was 12th squad. A direct reprimand would be... scary, wouldn't it? Some mad scientist experimentation or something... brr.
She smiled at him, "So, Captain, are you here for anything else?" she asked innocently enough.
It seemed she volunteered to help him with his shopping just now.
Yeah, what the heck, she figured. He seemed amusing enough, though unlike most men, she couldn't mess with him as much since he severely outranked her, but his social clumsiness seemed to be more than enough.
Either she'd help him learn confidence, or she'd get herself a day of entertainment. Perhaps both...

"Hmmm.....I know I came here for ginseng and something else....." Ryon began rubbing his chin and looked up seeming to be lost in thought. Who would have thought the sight of a beautiful woman is all it takes to take your mind off your experiments. If I knew that I would have made myself look like a super model. Please if you're not going to help be quiet, you're distracting me. Dr. Mijin laughed Ahahaha! We're finally talking to a beautiful woman who is ACTUALLY staying, and you want me to help you get out of here quicker? No chance. Ryon wasn't surprised by Mijin's response.
Ryon had to admit, this woman's eyes were like a poison that was slowly taking control of his mind. Wait a minute......oh ya! I needed poison! Ryon smiled and looked at Eiko. "I'm actually in the market for a very strong poison. I'm trying to develop a ginseng based antidote to a wide variety of strong poisons. Not to mention I'm trying to also study the effects strong poisons have on a variety of hollows." Ryon seemed to be getting excited as he explained his scientific plans. "Would you like to see the collection of hollows I have?" Ryon seemed to think for some reason that Eiko would be interested in seeing captive hollows. I really don't like you.......

"Ah, no thank you about the hollows. I might be able to help you with the poisons part, but not here. It requires my Shikai, and releasing it might be damaging around here," she chuckled, "But other than that, I don't shop for poisons, and wouldn't know the first place to find them."
"We'd have to ask around, I suppose if you want a particularly strong poison. Or ask Soifon since she's a master assassin." She felt comfortable saying that, but immediate unease afterwards. It was weird.
"Maybe some Squad 2 members could help?" she suggested, but she had no idea where a squad 2 member would be.
(OOC:Sorry for the small post. I dunno what's wrong with me lately. >.<)

Ryon let out a sigh as Eiko denied his proposal to see his collection of captive hollows. He took pride in his specimens but rarely could find someone who shared his enthusiasm. Usually people just were grossed out or told him to just kill them. "Hmmm. . .I don't think you're shikai would be much use. I would need to be able to mass produce the poison if the experiments go well and I don't think using a shikai as a source would be adequate." Ryon and Soifon weren't exactly the best of friends. They had very different styles. Soifon's goal was to kill, and to do it as quickly as possible. It was the MO of an assassian, and there was no better assassin than Soifon. Ryon on the other hand tried to draw out his battles in an attempt to see all of his opponents abilities. He just never knew when he was going to see an ability that could be put to good use through experimentation. And then on top of that his main goal was always capture. He needed guinea pigs for his experiments, and the more enemies he captured, the more specimens he had. Dr. Mijin exploded with excitement. His eyes got wide and drool started coming out of his mouth. Soifon?! O-M-G! She is sooooo sexy! That little tight uniform! That cute tush! What are you waiting for?! Lets goooo! Dr. Mijin didn't seem to have a problem with the captain. Ryon let out another sigh. He didn't really want to see Soifon, but she probably had the answers he needed. Fine, we'll go see Soifon. My needs for this experiment outweigh the differences me and her have. A smile returned to Ryon's face. "That was a terrific suggestion Eiko, Soifon would most certainly have what I need. Its been great shopping with you, but I should really start heading over to Soifon's quarters. See ya." Ryon politely bowed to Eiko and began walking towards the register to buy his ginseng. "YES! We're off to see Soifon! This day just keeps getting better and better! ((OOC: Don't worry about it, you gave me plenty to work with  If you want we can make a new thread over in the 2nd division section.) |

"I see, I see," Eiko nodded, "Yeah, my Shikai is hard pressed to make more than maybe a few glasses per hour unless you watered it down."
She watched him space out a moment, then nodded as he decided it was a good idea to go, "I can go with you if you want," she offered.
"If not, I can amuse myself," she chuckled.

"Hmmmm......sure you can come." Ryon thought that if she were to accompany him it might be a little less awkward. I like you're thinking Ryon! One girl for each of us, I'll take Soifon, you take Eiko!
Ryon and Eiko paid for their respective items and left the store heading over to see Soifon.
