With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Ryu's face reddens even more as the young woman giggles at his embarrassment. Looking down he pokes his two index fingers together. "Sorry about that" he says. She then begins to raise her reiatsu. She mentions his Bankai training. He looks up and raises an eye brow.
"Maybe, and if I was, I would hope you not tell anyone about it" Ryu says, smiling to the blonde. Suddenly, her reiatsu flares, rising upward. He turns and watches as she raises her blade into the air, and calls out that little word, the one little word that signifies so much power.
"Bankai"
Ryu blinks a few times, and silently observes the woman's transformation. "Hm... this is a surprising turn of events" Ryu comments. He then smiles. "Well, I guess this will be more fun than I thought".
"Maybe, and if I was, I would hope you not tell anyone about it"
As the smoke cleared she spoke, with a hint of a smile in her voice, "Don't worry if you don't tell I won't."
Her new transformation, had a dragon's head on her left shoulder, and a grey cape on her right that went from her wait to her fott. She had two small floating reiatsu items flowing behind her, and her blade was composed of completley reiryoku. She smiled at him then used shunpo a couple of times getting far away, then close signifying her speed.
She giggled then spoke, " So Mr.Blushy, lets see your bankai and talk about my body later."
His blush quickly reappeared at her comment. "Oh stop teasing me" Ryu exclaims, his voice cracking slightly. He looks away, then turns to her and smiles. "Sounds like a plan" He says, his blush still remaining. "You want to see my Bankai? Fine, but here's the deal. You have to help me replant all the trees that are destroyed in the process" Ryu states. Once Matsuri agreed Ryu would crack his neck lightly, then stretch his arms out.
Energy slowly begins to seep out of Ryu's form, golden yellow energy begins to glow lightly. Ryu inhales deeply, then thrusts his arms down.
"Bankai"
His Scythe glows brightly, and there is a bright flash as energy bursts from Ryu's body. When the light dies down Ryu stands, yellow energy raging around his body, forming an Aura. Ryu's hair and eyes have changed color, his normally black hair was now golden yellow, and his eyes a shade of blue. Electricity sparks off of his body, zapping the air around him. His scythe has changed to the shape of a nodachi with a yellow and black blade, the hilt longer than it's sealed form, but with the same color scheme. Overhead, dark clouds begin to form, and thunder rumbles.
Ryu smiles to the girl in front of him. "Ready?"

Ugh, she didn't want to agree to taht, but she had already used bankai ansd couldn't say no, so she agreed. She must admit she was shocked at his transformation. She quickly shook, the shock off and listened. He then asked if she was ready. She smiled, and re-appeared behind him leaving a scartch on his face.
She used a timid, slightly mocking voice,"Does that answer our question?" she then smiled and prepared for his attacks.
She was fast, that was for certain. She had been able to flash step past him and land a small strike on his face. He smirked gently. He had seen that movement, for the most part, but he had not seen the slash to his face. His smirk became wider as he began to speak, but he did not turn to her.
"Impressive, you are fast. But then again..." Ryu began, then, he vanishes.
"So am I" He says, his voice coming from behind Matsuri. The blunt end of his sword was inches from her throat, crossing over her horizontally. Ryu smirks again, then removes his blade. He jumps back a few feet, and holds out his hand. He motions for her to come at him, the smirk never leaving his lips.
"So am I" Wow he was fast, she had admired him till he made the mistake of putting his blade near her. She was usually very calm, but whenever touched she lost her anger. When she had previously used it at only 50% of its real spped she kicked up to 75% and attempted a double slash at his shoulders. She then jumped backwards holding her blade and spoke using a strong voice.
"Please refrain from touching me if you value life it self"
The woman suddenly had a cold look on her face. Her body language changed as well, from flirtatious to threatening. Why the sudden change of heart? Suddenly, she flash stepped toward him, attempting a couple slashes aimed for his shoulders. Ryu quickly dodged the first of the slashes, side stepping to the left. He then raised his blade and parried the second attack. As Matsuri's blade grappled with his own, Ryu heard the woman speak. She must have been referring to earlier.
"Technically, I didn't touch you" Ryu says, his voice showing a bit of straining. He was only holding his sword with one hand right now, and the force of her attack was pushing ever harder on his blade. He was having some difficulty holding the woman back, her sudden jump in power surprising him. Ryu quickly takes the hilt with his other hand as well, and thrusts, pushing Matsuri's blade off of his own. He quickly jumps 2 meters away, and looks to face his opponent.
"So, mind explaining how we are going to train if I'm not allowed to touch you?" Ryu states, his voice completely serious. "I don't want to make you angry, or feel uncomforatable, so, what rules do you have? I'll follow them if you want me to" Ryu states to her. She was a new friend, and Ryu was not going to lose her trust over something as trivial as training. Ryu them smiles gently. "I know, how about I use kidou? That is my strong suit after all, and I wouldn't technically be touching you in any way" Ryu's eyes light up with his new idea.
He then points a hand forward, and begins to speak. "Hado 4; Byakurai, Byakurai" he announces. From his hand burst two white and blue bolts of lightning, both traveling toward Matsuri at tremendous speeds.
"So, mind explaining how we are going to train if I'm not allowed to touch you?" Ryu states, his voice completely serious. "I don't want to make you angry, or feel uncomforatable, so, what rules do you have? I'll follow them if you want me to" She smirked a little bit then began to attack him straight on. She began to strike fiercer with each attack. She stopped for a few seconds then spoke with her soft voice again. "To utilize bankai you must first let go of all fears or concerns..."she now conjugated shunpo with her attacks and resumed her assault from all different directions, with no sign of getting tired.
"You must have a strong drive that can't be shaken....."She was attacking faster and harder using her shunpo at 75%, when she first used it it was only at 50%. She attacked with 50% of her max power. She was trying to help, him and keep him strong at the same time.
"and you must never underestimate your opponent, due to looks, personality, or gender.!" She was using her full powered shunpo and 75% of her max strength assaulting him quickly and quiter powerfully hoping he'd take the offensive soon.
Ryu watched as Matsuri smirks to him. What did he say? Suddenly she flash steps toward him, and slashes. Ryu parries, but the she attacks again, this time faster in succession. Ryu stays on the defensive, parrying and dodging as many of her attacks as possible. She then begins to speak, telling he has to let go of any fears or concerns. She begins to use shunpo and swordsman skills together, to attack him from multiple directions. Ryu picks up his own speed, hoping to keep up with her own. The two are moving fast enough that the naked eye can no longer see them, their strikes causing the earth to tremble.
During the clash, Ryu begins to speak. "I do not fear using my bankai, but concern is not a weakness. It is concern for others that drives me! The need to protect them, and the concern for my friends, that is what I use my Bankai for. It is the sword that protects!" Ryu exclaims, his speed begins increase again. It is getting easier to predict her movements. Suddenly, she increases again though, this time by at least 25%. Ryu's eyes widen as she manages to land a slash against his chest.
His brows furrow as Ryu increases his own speed, and Shunpos a few meters away. He only buys himself a few seconds, as Matsuri quickly catches back up with him. Ryu is putting nearly all of his speed and power into fending her off. He parries her blade several more times, the strength of her attacks continuing to increase, so he makes the proper adjustments to defend against her. She begins to speak again, telling him not to underestimate his opponent.
"You think I am underestimating?" Ryu asks her as he continues to dodge and parry her attacks. They were strong, he was using nearly all of his strength to block. "I never underestimate. I do however care for the well being of my friends, and I refuse to lose the respect of a friend over something like this" Ryu announces as he continues to block and dodge her attacks. "But if you insist in seeing the power of my bankai, don't hold it against me when this is through!" Ryu yells out. As he does so, the aura around his body begins to glow more violently, and electricity sparks all over his body.
Once this happens, each time Matsuri's attack is parried, an electric shock would travel down her blade, and shock her, briefly stunning her. This would not be enough to slow her down immensely, but her movements would be come sluggish. Ryu then blocks another attack, and jumps back a few meters.

"You think I am underestimating?" She kept her smirk alive, as he had found his drive. When he had glowed a color, she stepped back to evaluate what it was. She had seen that his power's revolved around electricity so maybe it would shock her. She decided to keep her distance and go full power, she used shunpo at her full power and was ready to attack at full power. She charged some rei into her blade, and fired it in a Getsuga Tenshou type fashion. If his technique was to shock her she'd fight long distance.
"Now that you've found your drive we can really begin!"
She fired two more from the back and above, then stayed flowing in the air. She was curious to see what his next move was to be. He was showing more and more surprises with each passing moment.
