Testing the Limits

Ryu watches as Matsuri's blade begins to glow brighter, then, with a swing, she blasts a large, crescent moon shaped blast from it. As the attack approaches, Ryu points his hand forward, and from it, a large bolt of yellow lightning blasts. The bolt slams into the opposing attack, the two having a brief struggle for control, before finally causing a large explosion. Suddenly, Matsuri appeared to the side of Ryu, and fired another. He waits until the last second he has to dodge, then, with a flash step, dodges to the left, then flash steps toward Matsuri, who vanishes again. This time, she fires it from behind him. Ryu turns and again blasts a bolt of lightning from his hand, which, upon contact of the opposing force, causing another explosion.

Matsuri floats upward toward the sky, watching him. Ryu smiles as she does so, she was falling into his trap. Suddenly, the wind begins to pick up, blowing at least 40 miles per hour, gusts of wind slamming into Matsuri as she floats through the air. Thunder then begins to rumble, and the clouds flash. Ryu points a hand forward, and clenches his hands. Two bolts of lightning erupt from the sky, on both the left and right of Matsuri. Both bolts are traveling at amazing speeds, less then a second lasting before the two will collide with the woman. The two bolts will either hit her, and result in a mid air explosion, or, if they miss, will hit each other, and cause a similar explosion.

Ryu would then watch closely, and extend his senses, awaiting for a response.

For a brief second Matsuri laughed on the inside, he thought that she had fallen for his trap. It would be obvious to anyone that his powers revolved around lightning. So why go toward the sky? Easy she wanted to see his abilities, she didn't expect him to attack so brutally. She sprung into action the moment he moved his hands.

"Bakudo 73: Tozansho!"

A giant blue pyramid formed around her and she wasted no time, she entered then pointed to hands at the sides that she predicted they would come.

"Bakudo 37: Tsuriboshi!" Two webs formed around the sides she pointed to, and she did this just quick enough to have the lightning crash into her Bakudo's she wasn't severely damaged thanks to her quick thinking. She had scorch marks covering almost everywhere, and blood was leaking from several spots. She was really pissed and looked for revenge. She sucked up the pain and began to start her attack.

"Bakudo 62: Hyapporankan!, Bakudo 30 Shitotsu Sansen!"

First a red light flared and exploded into purple rods which scattered and were thrown at Ryu, she tried to incapacitate him. Just in case she drew a triangle in the air, and yellow blades pinned his arms, and legs. She was tired and decided to end it as quick as she could. She used almost all her rei into her blade and blasted a pink blast at him then used shunpo to get closer.

"Ye lord, mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of man! On the Wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the heavens. Hado 73: Soren Sokatsui!"

She fired the double blue blast at Ryu, and fell to the ground. All the reiatsu projectiles that had appeared with her bankai, was then absorbed to give her more stamina.
