Ryu smiles as he kills 3 more Hollows. The others had begun releasing their shikai. He was directly below Sylumn, watching as his Zanpakuto changed into a scythe.

"heh, guess we have more in common than I thought" Ryu thinks to himself. As he was in thought a large fish shaped Hollow swims through the air towards him. It opens it's large mouth, attempting to engulf Ryu. Flash stepping upward Ryu points a finger forward. He blasts a bolt of blue lightning, piercing the Hollow's mask, and causing it to roar in pain. As it disintigrates Ryu turns around, and sees 5 more Fish shaped Hollow approaching. 3 of which were coming toward Sylumn.

Furrowing his brow Ryu flash steps toward the two near him. Drawing his katana Ryu rushes as the first of the two. It opens it's mouth and Ryu dives straight in. Suddenly, the blade of a Katana bursts from the inside of the Hollow, straight through the mask. It vanishes from around Ryu, the other one noticed. It rushed toward him, opening it's mouth. Ryu turns and points his hand forward. Hado 4; Byakurai Byrakurai" Ryu announced. 2 bolts of lighting burst out of his hand, rushing toward the Hollow. One forces it's way through the Hollow's mouth, through it's body, and out of it's tail. The other smashed into the Hollow's mask, destroying it.

Ryu looks upward, seeing the other 3 nearing Sylumn. Raising his reiatsu Ryu begins to speak. "Command Lightning from the heavens; Kaminari" he announces. In a flash of yellow light Ryu's sword becomes a large black scythe. Twirling it in his fingers Ryu flash steps toward the 3 Hollow, his speed now 5 times faster. All that could be seen was the Hollow's mask suddenly crack, then shatter. Ryu stops, floating above Sylumn. He points a hand toward one of the Hollows and says "Take care of the other one please"

"Ten Kaminari!" He yells, a large bolt of yellow lightning blasting from his hand, rushing toward the Hollow. It slams into it, destroying it's head and erupting out of it's tail.

Jube had been up above in the night sky looking down at all the chaos below, he was watching how the other shinigami would fair. He noticed Jo-aun helping the robotic human, "Tch..." was all Jube said, lucky for the human he didn't notice him earlier otherwise Jube would have put him out of his misery with a single stroke of his sword. Jube, was then suddenly surrounded by a group of Hollows, the beasts had snuck up on him using sonido. He stood there calmly staring at them all, the hollows craved for Jube's flesh but they knew once false move and Jube would kill them. To bad this hollows ran on instinct and all they did was pounce at Jube, he spun in a complete circle extending his blade like a whip striking all the hollows at once sending them back. The hollows each died out from the attack as there bodies faded away to nothingness.

Jube remained where he was everyone seemed to be ok for now, his cloak danced lightly with the gust of wind as he watched the progressing battle with those cold hazel eyes of his.

"Take care of the other one please" said Ryu just as he released his Ten Kaminari Kido.

Without saying a word Sylumn lept ontop of the fish-like hollow. In one, mighty cleave he beheaded the monstrous hollow. Feeling accomplished he looked around for Ryu, the one that had a similar Shikai. Looking around he saw two more of the fish hollow flying rapidly towards their position.

Without hesitation, Sylumn ran up to Ryu. "Hold onto your weapon tightly and when I say swing I want you to swing with all your might." He points his scythe forward and interlocks the bladed part with Ryu's. He then lifts up Ryu and spins in circles. "Get ready" said Sylumn and he released Ryu and sent him flying through the air towards one of the fish-like hollow. He waited till Ryu was close the the hollow and yelled "Now!"

Sylumn then turns around and swings his scythe in the general direction of the other hollow. Under his breathe he whispers "Kizu." A blast of energy accelerates towards the hollow. Upon collision, the hollow is ripped completely in half.

Ryu smiles and nods at Sylumn's proposal. Their two weapon's inter lock, Ryu holding back the electrical discharge that would have surely electrocuted Sylumn had he not been a friend. Sylumn then spins in a circle, his speed increasing as he spins. Ryu yells out "NOW!", and Sylumn releases, sending Ryu flying. He positions himself so his trajectory is directly in front of the Hollow. Quickly bringing his scythe to the side Ryu slashes upward, cutting through the mouth and mask of the monstrous fish. As it begins to vanish Ryu turns back to Sylumn. His eyes open wide. Behind Sylumn nears an enormous fish like Hollow, this one seeming more like a cat fish. As the monster nears Sylumn releases his blast on the other minor hollow coming from his left.

"DUCK!" Ryu yells out as he raises his hand into the air. "Hado 32 Deisuku Kagayaku" Ryu announced. As he does so, a disk of energy forms above his hand, swirling like a circular saw blade. Ryu arches back, then throws the blade of reiatsu, which flies quickly past Sylumn. The blade hits the Hollow diagonally in the face, quickly slicing through it's body and out of it's tail, cutting it in half. Ryu smirks at his victory, but is cut short as he feels something grab his leg and drag him downward. Ryu looks down to see the tongue of a large frog like hollow dragging him down towards it's open mouth. Around it, many more Hollow, in the shape of several different insects also lay in wait.

Ryu quickly swings his scythe downward, cutting the tongue in half, then looks up to Sylumn.

"Want to help?" he asks, a smirk on his lips.

Raiden stared after the shinigami who had just helped him. It was unusual for him to be caught offgaurd like that in battle, but even more unusual for a shinigami to treat him like that. He looked at his arm with some amazement. It was his arm, not a machine, it was his flesh and blood. He couldn't remember the last time his arm was like that. Raiden had a lot of things to ponder at the moment, including the true nature and intent of shinigami. But now wasn't the time to wonder about these things. Hollows were still swarming all over the place and the humans were in danger of being killed.

Raiden stood up and walked over to his katana, which was still lying on the ground. He put it in his new, normal arm. It felt different in some sense. He ran over to a group of fishlike hollows and dashed at them in a quick burst of speed, slicing through several in once attack. He spun around and stabbed another in the chest, then drew his gun and shot it several times in the face before it died.

Raiden felt the presence of a strong spiritual pressure nearby, one belonging to a shinigami ((Jube)) . It would also seem this particular Shinigami stared at him for just a moment. Raiden turned toward the sky to find him hovering above, observing the battle that was raging below. Raiden pointed his SOCOM at the shinigami and fired three shots. The bullets shot inches away from the side of the Shinigami's head, hitting a small flying hollow that was behind him. Raiden could tell that the man was already unfriendly toward him, shooting so dangerously close to the shinigami was supposed to be Raiden's way of taunting him.
