Personality:
Yuichi was an impassive, bored, nearly emotionless young man. Being the first son of the Ohonamochi house, he got anything he wanted from his parents so long as he was quiet and well-mannered. This had a profound effect on his personality, as he kept all feelings and emotions on the inside afterwards.Appearance:
Yuichi usually bored by whatever situation he is in, and takes little interest in anything around him. This is due to his controlled upbringing by his politically-motivated parents. His apparent disinterest in anything enjoyable tends to irritate others. However, this changed after his time in the Nest; he now tends to be more sarcastic toward others and is easy going. He still harbors boredom toward things and still knows when to be quiet.
When he begins a fight he bends over and grabs some dirt to rub on his hands. He tends to be far more serious in fights and shows his opponents great respect during the fight. He rarely finishes his opponent off, unless they have done something truly unforgivable, like killing a child.
What he does enjoy is calligraphy and chess. His favorite food is Miso soup, and enjoys sunsets.

Dekata tsuchi (earth mover) resembles a large stone statue that was made by ancient carvers. He has vines growing on him, is always sitting, and tends to be hard of hearing. This is because he stands at 93 meters (111ft) and appears to weigh 450000 pounds (225 tons). He is enjoys talking and playing chess, but hates Yuichi’s sarcasm. Long ago, the lower Noble family lived is Soul Society. They had many beautiful daughters but no sons. This discouraged the Head of the house as he wanted a son to pass on his legacy. Though he loved his fifteen daughters he tried for a son a year and a half after each daughter. One day after a nine mouth labor, the family had finally been blessed with a son. They name him Yuichi, meaning brave first son, and would arrange for his future. He was shown love from his family and taught by the finest tutors. At an early age, his tutors found he had an amazing reiastu level and informed his parents. His father felt that this would increase their status in Soul Society if Yuichi was taught everything for the day he would become a Shinigami.RP Sample:
As he grew into a young man, he was taught the Art of the Sword through vigorous practice and calligraphy. His tutors were impressed on how fast he was at learning such advance techniques, however his parents demanded his properness and was to never express his emotions, this gave him a bored outlook on life. He would often sneak out of the house to practice his hand to hand combat with a nearby dojo. The master their showed him many techniques but Yuichi showed great progress in Praying Mantis Kung Fu, a style inspired by the aggressiveness of the insect that inspired the style. He practiced in private but all his sisters knew of his secret night time training, but kept it from their parents.
Not to long after his training began was he was allowed to join the Shinigami Academy. As he was enrolled he quickly excelled in his courses. He was proficient in Kidou, especially wind based ones. He was top in swordsmanship, due to his early training as a child and learned shunpou rather quickly. He would often visit his family when he could and told them the wondrous things he has learned. He was happy for the first time in his life and expressed this to his sisters. Not long after joining the academy did he manifest his Zanpakuto, which impressed many people and made several envious. He trained hard tell it was time for the Graduation exam. He was nervous but passed.
When he graduated as fifth in his class, he felt a sense of pride, but he father felt he should have been first. Yuichi felt as if his father only cared about status which began to create a void between them. This affected his outlook as he became part of the Gotei Thirteen and tried his best to become a seated officer. His efforts didn't go unnoticed as he was offered the fifth seat of Squad Thirteen, he once again was shown great pride from his sisters and mother, but is father felt Yuichi should be Lt.
As the years passed his sisters were married off to other Noble families and one by one he felt sadness. His mother soon passed away, leaving Yuichi alone with his father for praise. After so many years, Yuichi quit talking to his father and soon broke all contact. He still stayed in touch with his sisters and visited them when he could. He soon rose to the rank of third seat and had many friends. Once again he was happy and many felt he would soon be next to be a Captain, only after he showed everyone his Bankai did they feel it was for sure. However, that soon ended on that faithful day.
One day on a mission to the human world something terrible had happened. Yuichi had witnessed the wickedness of the human heart; a man murdered a child in his presence. Yuichi felt a building rage that caused him to break one of the Gotei's Laws, he killed the man. His squad saw the action taken placed, and allowed them to arrest him. While incarcerated his father came to him. This surprised Yuichi, as he thought his father didn’t care about him. Though the words spoken between the two were few, it ended with a harsh argument. His father left him alone as the day of the trial was at hand.
He was brought to the Central 46 shortly after. There his trail begun and ended with his punishment. He was stripped of his rank in the Gotei Thirteen and was to serve 500 years in the Maggot's Nest. This surprised Yuichi, he thought he would be executed but soon found out why he was to live. His father had pulled several favors to keep Yuichi alive and had visited him once a month. During his visits he would play chess with Yuichi and always seemed to win. This seemed to bring them closer as his father’s time was coming closer to the end. After two hundred years, Yuichi's father died and was once again alone in that dark cell tell his day of release.
During his time he developed a sarcastic view towards the guards and such met with a lot of disrespect. He was here during the of Urahara’s control, though he never met the guy. He always kept in shape while here so not to lose himself to ill health and received some notice of his family, mainly do to a guard he befriended. Several of his sisters had kids and miss him dearly. He so wanted to feel the wind in his face and the earth at his feet, but felt that it would be forever tell that day.
In he deepest parts of the Maggot's Nest, passed the ones who walk around, behind a barred room one can find a man. This man was left by himself for a very long time. In the cell was a dusty chess board that was primed to play. The man just at on his bed looking at the board as if he was waiting for someone, someone long passed on time like seconds to a clock.
Soon a guard came up to the cell, a face of disgust with a sneer. “Oi, last breakfast here Ohonamochi, guess you feel pretty happy huh?" He said as he tossed the gruel at the table only to be caught.
Without looking up Yuichi smiled. " But I'd miss the hospitality you've shown to me." He said as he began to eat his meal. How he managed that bit of sarcasm was beyond the guard who simply spat as he walked away. Yuichi was glad he was getting out tomorrow but felt uneasiness as well. He wished to rejoin the Gotei Thirteen but would they let him, after all he killed a human. Course he would do it again, that man killed that little kill for no reason and deserved worse then Yuichi gave him.
Yuichi finished his meal and went to the middle of the cell. He jumped up and grabbed the bars above him to begin his pull ups. Unlike most people here he wanted to stay in shape and has trained his body well. He practiced his swordsmanship with an invisible sword, so he wouldn't forget how. He only wished he had someone to play chess with. He never did beat is father and needed to find someone as strong as he was to feel victory.
Night time came around and the night shift guard came. She was nicer then the morning guy, so much s she evened played chess with Yuichi. ” Dinner Yuichi-san." She said as she walked to the door. She had a smile on her and seemed to be glowing.
“Ah, Kunto-kun, you look as lovely as ever. What do you bring me tonight?" He said as he placed himself in front of the cell door. He felt that she was excited to say something but wanted to keep it secret.
“Oh you." She said with a blush as she handed Yuichi his dinner and began her evening shift. She didn't have time for chess tonight but gave Yuichi a slight bow for it. “She is one I'll miss the most." Yuichi said as he ate his rice almost excite about feeling the wind in his face and seeing the sunset with his sisters.
