Appearance: 6'1" tall short dark brown almost black hair that is kept short just covering the tops of the ears. the bangs hang down in a left to right fashion with the right side coming slightly lower than the left side. He is skinny, what some would call slender, almost in a feminine way, but there is an utterly masuline air to him. His eyes are the color brown that reminds people of a chilly autumn day. Yet, he almost always has a smirk on his face. Most people think his eyes piercing and haunting. He wears the traditional shimigami uniform, but it is of a much more form fitting cut because of his build. His sleeves end at the elbow as well, and the know for his belt is kept on his hip instead of at the front where it is supposed to be. This gives him a slightly disheveled look which also throws others off about him
Personality: Dispite his looks, Shu is an intelligent and amiable person. Always ready to talk and philosophize about anything, he is generally confused about peoples' reactions to him because he is so open. Feircely loyal to the Gotei, his squad members, and his personal friends, he will do almost anything for anyone. However do not mistake him for weak. He is extremely diligent in his studies and practice, and wants nothing more than to advance to the captain level. He can come off quite harse when things turn sour, but he thinks things through before acting, even if he does come off as rash and belittling.
sealed Zanpakuto: it sits on the lower back and is of the wakisashi style, making it almost half the size of most sealed zanpakuto. Most people take this as a sign of weakness in Shu, but is actually because of his will and determination that he managed to make his zanpakuto that size. The hilt and guard look like most zanpakuto, just slightly smaller. However, two small chains are attached to the end of the zanpakuto. Shu holds the blade downward in his left hand when he draws his zanpakuto in this form.

Shikai appearance: Once released the two chains on the bottom of Myou ookami enlarge and wrap around Shu's left arm creating a type of armor from his shoulder over his hand. He chain links are infused with his spirit pressure and are almost unbreakeable. There is only one chain attached to the hilt of Myou ookami, and it is in the middle of the hilt because there are now blades at both ends of the hilt now. the weapon is held by putting the chain links inbeween the second and third fingers allowing for quick offensive strikes and a defensive positioning ( the blades are both wakisashi length)
shikai abilities: Myou ookami is a very versitile weapon. It has a balanced offense and defensive setup with the short blades as each end. However Myou ookami can also be spun by the chain and thrown, creating an airborn saw type effect. this can prove deadly to opponents by not allowing them to get close. The chain itself is geat tool since as it is thrown it unravels off the arm, allowing for variable lengths to be thrown. Also, it can sometimes ensnare enemies, and can be used defensively as well. However, throwing Myou ookami is dangerous because it can potentially leave Shu open to attack. the chains are not the quickest to return and if too much is thrown out can ensnare Shu on the return. As for Myou ookami's special ability, each time an opponent is cut air is forcably expelled through the cuts. the bigger the cut the more painful. However each expullsion of air is caused by a new cut, but each cut after the first also expells air, so many small cuts can add up.
Shikai Abilities:
1) tooboe baito ookami ( howling wolf bite)
effects. two seperate blades of air are formed at each end of Shu's zanapakuto. when Shu swings his sword either or both air blades can be thrown at the enemy(maximum of two strikes per call, but sending both at the same time is exponentially stronger). The Air is infused with Shu's reaitsu and is light blue in color.
2) hitogue pakku burraku ( cry of the dark pack)
effects: when activated seven black auras form around Shu. Each one resembles a wolf but not quite. Shu then flings out his sword and the seven auras hurl towards his enemy till they hit the target. When an aura hits a wolf's howl is heard and the aura is absorbed into the opponents body. 3 cuts appear on the body from each wolf absorbed and are extremely painful. Also these cuts are effected by Myou ookami's already accepted ability. the aura's are extremely fast but can be destroyed by an equal/greater kido(30+) or attack. the aura's also coordinate like a wolf pack attacking from different sides ( the limit is 5 " rpg minutes" in the world this technique is a reaitsu drainer on Shu, he cannot maintain it for any longer and be able to battle.(I would only let it go on for say 4-5 posts)
Zanjutsu:
Shu is very proficient at zanjutsu. He has trained for years and years to perfect his wakisahi style blade techniques. His blade style is bushido (following 5th squad captain Oodora's orders) and he takes a more defensive style since since his blade is shorter and made for that type of style. However, Shu has taken the time to make sure he can effectively attack with his zanpakuto. Shu couples his Zanjutsu with a barrage of Hakuda techniques.
Hakuda:
Shu has spent as many years training his Hakuda skills as he has his Zanjutsu skills. Since his zapakuto is shorter than most it is a great defensive weapon. Shu supplements his zanpakuto with deadly effective Hakuda attacks. Shu has lightning fast arms and legs, which make for unexpected attacks. Shu has spend years training his body ,and even though he is not the most physically imposing he is all muscle. He constantly pushes himself. to new levels of strength.
Hohou:
Shu has amazing speed due to his dedication to training, under the eyes of Captain Oodora, he has increased his speed tenfold. Captain Oodora has shown him a great way to improve himself by focusing his reiatsu and forcing his body to regenerate it faster and in greater quantities. Aso, Shu's Hohou training has improved his Hakudo since many of his attack balance speed and power.
Kidou:
Shu is a member of the 5th squad and 4th seat of the Hadoshuu ranks. He has mastered all Hado up to level 65, and is currently training to increase his aptitude even further. Shu's comprehension of Kido is not only limited to Hado, he is also very adept at Bakudo, but does not focus on it as much. His Bakudo level is mastered to the 40's and he can do spells up to 60 if he concentrates. Shu is always testing himelf, and has even created his own Kido spells
Shu has not yet reached Bankai, however he has managed to call forth Myou ookami into a physical form. She looks like a large black wolf with golden eyes and a fiery tale. Her paws are the color of her tale but not fire. She speaks in a motherly voice, not denoting her ferousious nature in battle.
History: Shu's facination/obsession with becoming a soul reaper began when he saw Bayakuya's estate, however he really began to focus on becoming a soul reaper when several of his friends were murdered. Shu blames himself for their murders because they were out exploring with him. He had talked his friends Tamu and Sheiki into venturing into the lower districts with him. When they were confronted by a group of thugs. Tamu stood up to the thugs while Shu and Sheiki ran back home. However, several of the thugs caught up to them. Shu suffered several internal industries as well as many broken bones, but managed to survive. However, Tamu and Sheiki died from their injuries. Shu then became extremely obsessed with protection his loved ones. When he finally realized he had the requirements to enter the academy he did so.
RP sample: Shu sat against a tree in the Seireitei, thinking of how he was going to next better himself. << I wonder what I can do. I can't move up in my squad anymore, at least for now>> While he was thinking a group of new academy students was walking by. As Shu stood to greet them, they quickly put their heads down and hurried on. << I wonder why most students avoid me?>> Shu thought not realizing that his peircing brown eyes along with his almost constant smirk made him look mischievious. But, as he was pondering this he felt a sudden spititual pressure off towards the forest. Shu quickly ran off towards this disturbance. As Shu neared the forest he immedietly saw the massive hollow coming out of the forest. It looked like a giant spider, its mask had mandables and had dark purple stripes running across it. The hollow spotted Shu and shot out a mucus at him. Shu quickly jumped to the left but his right arm was hit by the mucus. Shu quickly wiped the mucus off. However, the hollows mucus had a paralysing effect and Shu's arm was now useless. Shu quickly drew his sword and charged the hollow. Shu easily determined the hollows tactics and was able to avoid all the following attacks. Shu flashstepped the last section of area towards the hollow. He jumped up and slashed the hollows mask, causing it to disappear. However, the paralysis was spreading. <<I need a medic>> Shu thought as he sheathed his sword. He pulled out his communicator and called for a squad 4 healer. <<I hope there aren't any other hollows around>> Shu said to himself as he felt his leg go numb. << Because fighting them is gonna be hard with only one arm and leg>> He thought with a big grin. <Maybe this can help me get better>> Shu thought as he began to laugh
