Don Kanonji acts very childishly around other people aswell as those who are likely to kill him. He is rarely seen fleeing as he belives in his fellow comrades and the little power he has to defeat "The bad spirits". His intelligence with the world of shinigami si bleak as he doesnt listen to anything ichigo has to say unless it involves forming a team. Kanonji is renown for having a sum of catchphrases which show off his positive and happy nature.

Appearance:

Kanonji wears a strange outfit that is unique to his own charatcer. He wears a weird shirt with a long, black cloak attached to the shoulders. He owns a top hat which he wears during his shows. He usually holds a cane wherever he goes to smack "bad spirits" and hyper kids with.

Origin of Power:

He seems to be like Ichigo, who was born with Spiritual Energy and the ability to see spirits, given the limited information given on his heritage.

Special Abilities:

Don kanonji has limited powers. He can see shinigami and hollows alike aswell as arrancar, but his actual reitsu levels are low.

Powers First Stage:

Don kanonji ultimate attack, Kanonball!:

Don Kan'onji's special attack, consisting of a tiny ball of golden (or sky-blue) light that moves slowly before exploding with a surprising amount of power. He calls it the Golden Kan'onball.

Later on, in various filler episodes, this technique appears to have expanded in size, and perhaps in explosive power, but has yet to increase its speed in any noticeable way.

Powers Second Stage:

Super Spirit Stick:

Don Kan'onji's special melee attack. He shocks the enemy with a golden stick infused with spiritual energy and can completely destroy a lesser hollow with it.

History/Background:

Don Kan'onji used to rid ghosts, thinking he was sending spirits to heaven, actually caused those spirits to become hollows (he would take his cane and forcibly rip open the holes in spirits that hadn't fully changed into hollows yet). He found this out when he and Ichigo Kurosaki fought a hollow that appeared, because of his methods, during a television taping at Karakura Town. He later formed the Karakura Superheroes, which consists of the Kurosaki sisters, Kon and the children at the Urahara Shop, to get the show's declining ratings up.

The cheers of the crowds as the mysterious, Don Kanonji appeared on stage echoed all across karakura town. The night was restless as the activity down at karakura hospital was keeping everybody awake.

"The spirits are always with you!"

The entire crown uttered the same words in time with him, and quickly after, crossed their arms over their chest and gave a hearty "Bwahahahahah!" with him.

"now... Smells like bad spirits! Your amasing Don kanonji! Spiritual expert of karakura town will exorsize this foul smelling place"

As kanonji leapt off the stage, he was greeted by a loud thud infront of him. The crowd couldnt see anything infront of him, but it was indeed a hollow in kanonji's eyes.

"ah... this foolish spirit has appeared before the great kanonji to defend his comrades...respectful...but I, The charismatic medium spirit for the new century will erase you!"

Kanonji lifted his cane and smacked the hollow in the mask, but it barely moved. Kanonji looked slightly worried, but grinned once more as he continuously thumped its head.

Seeing as his attacks were doing absolutely nothing but anger the hollow, he took a different approach.

"thsi spirit wont go down easily.... i guess its time to unleash!... Don kanonjis ultimate attack!.... "

As kanonji said those words, the crowd behind him yelled with him:

"KANONBALL!"

a small, sky blue colored orb of reitsu slowly whirled around his hands before creeping its way towards the hollow. The creature seemed to make a laughing jesture at this feeble attempt, and smashed it to the side. Unaware of the kanonballs power, it erupted in its face, sending it flying back into the building.

Kanonji turned round to the cameras with a big thumbs up, followed by a crowd applauding "BWAHAHAAHAHAH!"
