Senri is an extremely quiet boy, and there are many that can attest to the fact that there is no way to exaggerate this. He’s hardly perfect, and of this he has no illusions, but there doesn’t seem to be a possible event on any world capable of making him speak. From beatings, to insults, even right down to kidou incantations, some of the time it looks less like Senri is trying to control himself and more like he’s being purposely quiet just to spite everybody.

Personally, Senri doesn’t see himself as a man that needs to be constantly speaking. Long ago, the leader of his family told him “If you can master your tongue, you can master yourself”, and for this reason Senri exudes a nearly religious devotion to controlling what he does and does not say. As it turns out, his lack of speech doesn’t mean he’s buried in thought, but extremely focused on the world that surrounds him. In this way, Senri is becoming able to extend the control he has over his speech onto his actions and impulses, making his every action taken in careful consideration.

Thusly, he is not necessarily a very violent person, and in fact only uses his blade against those he wishes to kill. In every recorded spar against fellow Shinigami, Senri had either used a wood bokken, or not bothered to remove his blade from the sheath. In addition to everything else, Senri has recently gained extreme control over his temper, ignoring most physical challenges and able to walk away from most stinging insults. Senri still can’t ignore a fight if the aggressor throws the first punch, and despite his own attempts to block it out, a small part of him still believes that he has something to prove, especially when it comes to his interactions with the Gotei 13.

Senri is 210 years old but looks about 16. He is about 5’10ft tall and weighs about 150lbs. His eyes are shade of grey yet look emotionless. His hair is a dark black color. His skin is a somewhat pale color and he is frail looking. Senri is part of the Shihōin family and was taught to control his emotions and that training is the reason he looks this way.

Senri wears the normal shinigami uniform. The normal black Shinigami uniform with a white sash around his waist where his zanpakutou is placed. He wears white tobi socks and straw sandals on his feet. He doesn’t wear anything else while in the Seireitei. In the human world, he wears a school uniform. A long white dress shirt with a red tie. Long, black pants with a blue coat and black and white checkered shoes.

Senri’s inner hollow has somewhat long, black and silver hair. His eyes are silver and has black around those eyes. His skin is very pale and his ears are pierced. Around his neck, he wears a silver cross. He wears a long black coat with a ripped black shirt under it. On his hand are fingerless gloves and silver bracelets. His pants are black with chains and has boots.

His personality is a bit different from the other inner hollows. He is poetic and creative. He repeats quotes from poems and from other books. But, besides from that, he is pure evil. He toys with his enemies to the point where they want to die. He laughs at other people weaknesses and exploits them. He doesn’t like to give people mercy but does laugh at their begging. He also like to talk bad about Senri while others ask if he is Senri. His inner hollow is just plane evil.

Ryuujin look like a red dragonized human. His hair is hair and to small red horn on his head. His eyes are red and has pointy ears. His skin is somewhat pale and he has strange orange markings that start in the middle of his chest and work his way to the bottom of his eyes. His arms, legs, and his back are dragon-like. They are covered in red scales and his nails are long, black, and sharp. On his back are two red wings.

Ryuujin expects a lot out of Senri. He wants Senri to be a strong fight and uphold his honor as a shinigami. Ryuujin always lectures Senri when he does the smallest the wrong. Sometimes, Ryuujin tries to be Senri’s conscience when in battle while Senri is doubting his skills.

His zanpakutou looks like a normal katana when sheathed. His hilt is long enough to accommodate his two hands and the color of the grip is black. The sheath is somewhat thick. The guard is round and has serpent dragon around the inside of it. The blade itself is unique. The blade has the length of about a normal nodachi. His zanpakutou is longer then normal ones. The blade is about 4 and half feet long. It is curved and slender. It is a single edge blade.

Ryuujin takes the form of a long, red Rapier. Though the blade itself resembles more of a Broadsword, the hilt takes the appearance of one. The hilt of the blade is long enough to place his two hands on. At the very bottom of the blade is a blue jewel. The guard changed into a form of a dragon emblem with a purple gem in the middle and two metal wings. The color of the steel is now red. The blade becomes thicker then its unreleased form. The blade of the sword is about 4 ½ft long and 5in wide.

Shikai Abilities::

Ability One: Aka-Shuuha (Bloody Wave) - Ryuujin begins to pulsate with energy and glows red. Senri can release this energy into a crescent wave. The energy is dense enough to cut through stone. Senri can control the movement of this attack but not all the time. This attack can take Senri lose a good percentage of his energy if he uses it too much in a fight.

Ability Two: Doragon no Tate, (Dragon shield) - This ability allows Senri to make a shield of red energy in front of him to block incoming attacks. Red energy from the sword quickly fly out and form a shield in front of him. But, it won‘t be able to block attacks from enemies stronger then him.

Ability Three: Heika no Doragon (Swords of Dragon) - Ryuujin begins to glow as Senri places his hand on the sword. By swinging both sword and his hand to out, blades made of energy form. Senri can now fire the swords into one direction or each one into a deferent direction. The energy used with this attack varies on how many blades are made.

History/Background:

Senri was adopted into the Shihoin family when he was an infant. Senri and his mother and father lived in the family’s mansion. The years went by and Senri slowly began to grow. Soon, he was ready to start his training. He was hot-headed and complained a lot when things went wrong. One day, the leader of the family, came by to check on the house when she heard Senri. She slowly walked to him and said, “If you can master your tongue, you can master yourself”. Senri took in those words. From then, Senri trained himself to control his emotions.

Senri’s training was over and he was now able to enroll into the Shinigami Academy. The first day was horrible. Though he was part of one of the four noble families, he was picked on. Senri looked as if he had no emotions but he was still upset on the inside. He wanted to do something but knew that if he did, he would be punished and would bring shame to his family. So, Senri just ignored it the best he could and went on with his school work.

Senri was one of the top students in the academy. Everyone said that it was because he was a noble and everyone just did what he wanted. Senri didn’t care and he spent most of his time off training and studying for exams. Sometimes, the work would overwhelm him and would think that he wasn’t able to pass or finish his work. He was worried about being shame to his family. He wanted to be like the leader of his family but he had his doubts. Senri made it through to the end and graduated from the academy. Soon, he was placed into the Gotei 13 and was sent into squad 10 and after a few years; he had obtained his shikai.

Senri was somewhat upset that he wasn’t in the same squad as his family's leader but it was ok. She had her vice-captain to be with her. Senri didn’t talk much from when he was placed in squad 10 and looked upset. His family's leader noticed what Senri was doing and could only smile and tease him, here and there. She wanted him to be happy and not be hidden in his shell all the time. Senri had made a friend that was in the Kidou Carps. They did almost everything together. Those were the good old days.

A few years later, shinigami from different squads went missing and was never heard from again. This made the head captain worry and decided to send a search party to find what was going on. But, unknown to Senri and his friend, they went out into the forest that everyone was disappearing but was a few hundred of meters away from the center of the forest were all the disappearances took place. They decided to get some training in the middle of the forest so they can be stronger.

After a few minutes of a training, Senri started to feel weird, as if something inside of him was growing. His friend ran over to him but Senri told him he was ok. After finishing the sentence, a strange white liquid burst out of his mouth. It slowly began to cover Senri’s face. His friend was freaking out and backed up from him. The liquid hardened and formed a hollow mask over his face. Senri’s looked up at his friend and attacked him without a word. Senri had no control over his body. He quickly drew his sword tried to block all of Senri’s attacks. All over his attacks were violent and Senri acted as if he was a monster.

His friend didn’t know what to do. Would he kill his closest friend or let Senri kill him. Then, he had an idea. He would try to transfer his power to Senri to try to help him. He knew that it was against the law to do such a thing but he had no choice. As Senri charged at him, his friend quickly began to pour all his power into his sword and stabbed Senri in the heart. As he began to pour his power into Senri, he took his sword and attacked his friend. No matter how many wounds he got from Senri, he won’t give up. Senri let out a scream as his mask shattered into pieces. Senri was free and his old self again. Senri fell to the ground as he passed out from all the stress on his body. As for his friend, he dead with a smile on his face.

Senri had woken up in the middle of squad 4’s infirmary. It seemed that when they found him, he had no mask on at the time. But, his friend was dead. They told him it was because of a hollow attack and he was lucky that he survived. Senri began to question himself about what happened. Senri felt bad but he needed to be stronger for his friend. After all the events that took place in the Soul Society, Senri was able to suppress his hollow but he knew, he couldn’t do this forever.

RP Sample:

It was a dark, cold night in the Soul Society. The stars shined bright above in the night sky. The moon was full and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Senri was sitting in the under a tree in the yard by the Shihōin mansion. A cool breeze blew through the tree as the leaves danced around. It felt nice as the cool breeze blew around him. The night was calm and Senri loved nights like this one. No one was awake and nothing seemed to be going wrong.

As that thought finish, the alarms went off. Hell butterflies were sent to inform every one what was going on. The black and dark pink butterfly landed softly on his finger. Seemed that a few hollows had invaded the Seireitei. With a heavy sigh, Senri stood up and quickly use his Shunpo. Senri flashed around until he found a group of shinigami fight a hollow. It was large, black, and looked very hideous like they normally do.

He drew his sword and landed softly behind the group. The others were trying to fight it but was hit out of the way by its attacks. One by one they went flying back and soon, Senri was last. The hollow charged at him but Senri jumped into the air and came down with a slash at its mask. It quickly swung his fist and was hit. He fly and slammed against the wall. The hollow charged at him but vanished before his eyes.

What had happened? Then, pink cherry blossoms danced around the air around him. He turned his head and saw Byakuya walking towards him. Senri froze as he just kept walking by. He had never been saved by Byakuya before. His power was so incredible. Senri glanced over at him as he flashed away. Slowly, he sheathed his sword as the alarms started. The hollows were all gone and everyone, including Senri, went back to their rooms and went to bed.

Senri did go back to his room but he didn't fall into a deep sleep like everyone else did. He sat on the parch just outside of his room. He stared straight up into the dark, starry sky. Senri began to wonder if it was his mixure of shinigami and hollow reishi. No one really knew about him and he planned on keeping it that way. Senri snapped out of his thought as the sun began to rise. It was so nice and relaxing...until he realized that he was going to be late for his duty in the morning. Senri didn't even get a bit of sleep and he began to freak out as he tripped off the parch and fell to the ground. This was going to be a long day.

Ok, I was about to give this one the approval stamp until I got to the history, and lately this seems to be a trend that I'm running into with Viz' apps. Do not bind yourself with the canon Vizards, i.e. being at the very scene. If one was your char's Captain, whatever, that's cool, BUT do not place yourself at the same damn scene as them that made them Vizards. However, what I will allow is if your character did suffer the same infection that made them Vizards, BUT only with your character being in a completely different area, like hundreds of meters away and is thus unrelated to them beyond the superficial.

BUT, this also leaves the biggest trick, how did your character survive the Hollowification? You see, Kisuke used the hogyoku to harmonize the Hollow reiatsu that was infecting their soul with their Shinigami reiatsu, which enabled to the basically... not die and become Hollows. Thus, by doing that they became Vizards. Now, that same thing did not and is not going to happen for your character, because again, that's binding yourself to the canon Vizards, that is a no no. So, how did your character survive the Hollowification process?
