With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
"Actually, Mikeiru, yes. Especially us--we're Quincy. When we kill hollows they cease to exist," Makana answered. She paused, for a second, realizing what Mikeiru had said about the strange man. "Mikeiru-kun, did anyone ever tell you not to talk to strange men? This is why."
"I need these two to come with me."
Makana whipped out her pointer from somewhere behind her desk. She pointed it at Yue, still defensive of her students after all of these years. "Excuse me, but we're trying to sort something out. They stay until I'm comfortable with whatever will happen to them when they leave this room."
She knew about the H-squad...but didn't care. Not right now. She wanted her students with her, where she could help them if she needed to.
Character List "Let's eat, Grandma!" "Let's eat Grandma!" Commas save lives.
Staring at the woman, Yugito tilted her head curiously. Who was she, and what did she want with them? And what the hell was an H-Squad? She didn't know what it was, but she sure as hell wasn't going anywhere with anyone working under a group called..."H-Squad".
"Excuse me, but we're trying to sort something out. They stay until I'm comfortable with whatever will happen to them when they leave this room." Makana-sensei defended, pulling out the ever-famous pointer. That's when Yugito knew things got serious. That pointer was a weapon of mass destruction in Makana-sensei's hands, and if she had to pull it out, then this wasn't something to laugh at.
"Yeaaaaah...I'm not going with you." the girl stated, crossing her arms, "I don't even know who you are, and we didn't do anything."
She didn't care, or know, whether what she said only made things worse. If the police (assuming these people were police) were anything like that of seventeen years in the past, then they couldn't be detained unless there was a legitimate reason. And considering they didn't exist here until ten minutes ago, they had no grounds for arrest.
...unless time-travelling was a crime in the future. In which case....yeah, they were in trouble.
Yue looked at them, unamused by their refusal to come along quietly. She wasn't going to take no for an answer.
She ignored Mikhail, who was lower the temperature around him, but Makana and Yugito, they were the ones who questioned her authority. "Regardless of whatever issues you need to sort out, you have no authority to tell me what to do any more Makana-sensei." She said, taking a step toward Yugito who seemed to have an attitude problem.
The pointer was a familiar annoyance and with a surge of reiastu, her shadow sliced it. She kept a hard stare at Yugito the entire time, her shadow retreated back to its normal shape. Yue was not is a very good mood right now. "Seeing that you two don't exist, you have no rights."
Riza was surprised but not worried. This chick wasn't after her, so what point is it to worry. But this display of who was in charge was boring and she decided to peer outside. She looked outside in time to see a limo pull away as the other officers went to look at something on the ground.
The blue eyed woman had drop a box, white with a button on it and had the driver pull away. One of Yue's comrades had noticed this and decided to investigate. He poked it with his riffle as the others came over. No one knew what the box was and when a guy picked it up, he pushed the button.
As Yue was about to grab Yugito by the skin of her shirt, a blast was heard outside and she quickly made her way over. Riza was shocked to see a hollow that big appear out of no where. It looked like something out of H.P. Lovecraft's mind, tentacles and eyes.
Yue opened the window, letting in a breeze that blew loose paper around. "Don't move, we aren't done here." And she was off with an impressive display of Bringer's Light.
Riza watched as Yue went down to fight the Tentacle Hollow and nodded at the display of fighting skill. "You know, this would be a great opportunity for you fugitives to get away." She said with a bit of sarcasm, mostly toward Yugito. For some reason that girl was just asking for it.

Mikhail had skeptically questioned Makana about needing a permit to kill hollows now.
"Actually, Mikeiru, yes. Especially us--we're Quincy. When we kill hollows they cease to exist," She'd paused for a moment and Mikhail blinked.
"What are you supposed to just LET them eat you if you don't have a permit? Drat, I left my permit at home, guess I'm lunch..."
"Mikeiru-kun, did anyone ever tell you not to talk to strange men? This is why."
Mikhail sighed and scratched the back of his head. "Yeah, but it was more a situation of trapped in an alley with the weird hat guy and a crazy cat girl,...I'm sorry what were we talking about?"
That was when the strange woman from the H Squad entered and demanded they go with her. Mikhail looked to Makana to see if this woman was trustworthy but Makana had already whipped out the dreaded pointer and pointed it at the policewoman.
"Excuse me, but we're trying to sort something out. They stay until I'm comfortable with whatever will happen to them when they leave this room."
Yugito crossed her arms. "Yeaaaaah...I'm not going with you. I don't even know who you are, and we didn't do anything."
The policewoman plainly ignored Mikhail (go figure) and addressed Makana and Yugito. "Regardless of whatever issues you need to sort out, you have no authority to tell me what to do any more Makana-sensei." Mikhail was surprised that anyone spoke to Makana-sensei like that. Yue took a step towards Yugito and Mikhail's eyes narrowed as he stepped up beside her. The police woman's shadow shifted and seemed to slice at Makana's pointer which caused Mikhail to ball a fist at his side.
"Seeing that you two don't exist, you have no rights." Yue said, obviously not in a good mood. What kind of crap was that? Trying to say they didn't exist and had no rights. Mikhail was getting pretty angry with this woman especailly as Yue looked like she was gonna grab Yugito. Luckily for all, a commotion outside drew Yue's attention. It was a huge hollow and as Yue opened the window, Mikhail thought that he hadn't seen many like it.
"Don't move, we aren't done here." She said as she left in a display of power.
Mikhail just let out a sigh as Riza watched out the window a moment and then sarcastically spoke. "You know, this would be a great opportunity for you fugitives to get away."
Mikhail thought for a moment it was hard to decide who they could trust. He looked at Yugito and asked, "What about Samyeru? Maybe he can help us."

Her students seemed to follow her lead, Yugito folding her arms and refusing to budge whereas Mikhail stepped up defensively. The older woman stood up as well, eyes narrowed.
"Regardless of whatever issues you need to sort out, you have no authority to tell me what to do any more Makana-sensei."
Her pointer split in two, Makana was angrier than ever. She pulled her bag off of her chair and reached inside, pulling out a seele schneider. She was prepared, very prepared, to pull it out and use it if need be. For now it stayed low, held under her rib cage like one might conceal a gun. "Now wait just a minute...this is my school, Yue. You do not walk into a woman's school, into her office, and demand that her students leave!"
It was personal. These two had caused Makana a whole lot of worry. They'd each caused their parents to worry, they'd each caused their friends to worry. There were dues to be paid, and that would take time. Yue couldn't interrupt.
"Seeing that you two don't exist, you have no rights," the woman said, ignoring Makana and moving towards Yugito. Makana's grip tightened on her weapon, and she was about to shoot reiatsu through it, when Yue moved to the window instead. "Don't move, we aren't done here."
Makana turned her head, saw the window open, and Yue fly out.
"You know, this would be a great opportunity for you fugitives to get away."
Makana tucked her weapon in her belt loop. "Riza-chan... You two, she is right. I don't know what happened, but whatever it is put you on the bad side of some pretty powerful people. Come on, there's an easy way out."
Makana moved rather slowly, she was old, and her hips hurt. Once she got walking, it wasn't as much of a hassle. She glanced back at Yugito and Mikhail, thinking briefly of Roy. She missed that man.
Character List "Let's eat, Grandma!" "Let's eat Grandma!" Commas save lives.
Yugito stepped back away from the woman as her shadow shot up and sliced Makana-sensei's pointer in half. What in the...then she was a spiritually aware human, too? The woman turned her head towards Yugito with a glare, something the girl was happy to return. She had to mentally restrain herself from blowing the woman a raspberry; it would probably only lead to more trouble.
"Seeing that you two don't exist, you have no rights."
"HEY! she said, getting ready to argue with the woman about her existence before realizing she had the same thought earlier. Technically they didn't exist here...
But before she could add anything else, the woman, Yue, she believed was her name, had jumped out the window, saying something about not moving. As if they really were going to stay in one spot and wait for her to come back and arrest them.
"You know, this would be a great opportunity for you fugitives to get away."
Yugito spun around and turned to Riza, and if it had been a comedic moment, a large red throb would've appeared on her forehead. "We're not fugitives!"
"Riza-chan... You two, she is right. I don't know what happened, but whatever it is put you on the bad side of some pretty powerful people. Come on, there's an easy way out."
Makana-sensei looked like she was ready for anything. There was a strange weapon tucked into her belt, and from the way she spoke, Yugito knew, well, she always knew, but Makana cemented her train of thought that if they didn't get out of there, they were going to be in a huge mess.
"...we didn't even do anything..." she mumbled quietly, before following her (former) teacher out. Glancing at the window, she could see a huge hollow and a group of people fighting it. As much as she hated those things, and all the trouble they caused, she quietly thanked it for the distraction.
Riza folded her arms under her chest in a proud moment of being right. She even gave Yugito a smug look at this and started to walk behind her mother. "Come on, you're on the lamb now. No need to stay here convict." It was fun messing with Yugito, she was easy to provoke.
Outside Yue continued to battle the monstrous Hollow, a few shinigami patrols come in to help.
Riza followed her mother with the others in tow. She walked comfortably, with her hands behind her head. Things were definitely turning into an interesting day. First two boonies appeared and knew her mom on a personal level, then the H-Squad Commander Yue comes in a demands that they come with her, and now a convenient hollow distracts the ladder so they can escape. If simple deduction were to come into play, Riza would assume that someone set this up. Maybe this strange man in a hat the guy talked about.
She peered over at Mikhail, her green eyes were just as strong as her father's, and started to question him "So Mickey, tell us more about this man in the hat?" Her voice was slightly flirty but that was just to make Yugito mad. Riza was honestly interested in hearing about this mad man in the hat. For some reason it sounded familiar to her.
The outside battle was loud and was causing a commotion. It attracted several students and teacher bodies to nearby windows to watch. No one even tried to stop the group as they made their way to where ever Makana was leading them.

Mikhail's hazel eyes widened slightly as the police woman used some kind of power to split Makana's trademark pointer. It was inconcieveable! How dare she break that iconic symbol of authority?! He thought Makana was going to explode with rage and indeed she seemed angrier then he thought he'd ever seen her, she pulled something out of her bag and held it close to her. An extra pointer maybe? Always prepared...
"Now wait just a minute... this is my school Yue," YUE?, that girl from school, now some kind of special forces leader? "You do not walk into a woman's school, into her office, and demand that her students leave!"
Makana agreed with Riza when she suggested it was time to go and the two former students followed their older sensei with Poor Yugito grumbling about them not actually being fugitives and how they didn't do anything. Unless accidental time travel was illegal as well.
As they walked Riza started talking to Mikhail, sounding a lot nicer all of a sudden then when she found them and was calling them boonies and such.
"So Mickey, tell us more about this man in the hat?"
Mikhail glanced at her walking leisurely with her hands behind her head. He blinked curiously at her tone and the new twist on his name.
"Err, well, he likes to play games with people..." Which was probably what this was, Mikhail thought. Some twisted game that only he knew about. Then again when he handed the box to Mikhail he seemed just as intrigued by it as Mikhail was. Like the box was something he created while sleeping, or not all there. Of course the way he acted, when was he ever all there?... THIS WAS INFURIATING TO THINK ABOUT!
"His hat, is like, Mary Poppin's bag..." Yup that was a good example. Crap! would Riza know about Mary Poppins? Mikhail suddenly felt really old.
