The moment Soifon told she should not make such absolutes as she did, Sayuri's heart sank a little, but she understood why Soifon would tell her such a thing - after all they are both highly trained assassins, or so she thought to herself. But also, she understood it because she knew she had not earned such an immense level of trust with Soifon, not even by a long shot, and she knew her Commander of Executive Militia and Captain of 2nd Division was never one do so lightly, very far from in fact. So, all she did was comply and did not respond to Soifon's statement... and warning. Sayuri is not one to really dispute her Captain, never was, nor would she prove to be such, and with Soifon's sound advice given to her, Sayuri nodded compliantly taking each grain to heart.
As Soifon helped her get to her quarters, hearing Soifon's remark about seeing 4th Division do to Sayuri's tensing up, though she tried her best to relax in reaction to it - she tittered with a grimace out of her nervousness and blushed a little more, and still failed to relax. When finally reaching her quarters, she looked to Soifon clearly grateful by the expression in her eyes by Soifon's being respectful of her privacy. The moment her Captain asked quietly if she will be alright, Sayuri bowed her head respectfully with a quiet polite tone trying to show her utmost gratitude for the quite unexpected kindness Soifon extended to her, she replied whispering, "Yes, Captain, thank you... for everything you've done for me tonight... it was more than I could ever ask of you."
Bowing her head respectfully once more to Soifon, wearily using the doorway to her room and the walls to brace herself, she slipped into her room, sliding the door shut behind her. She staggered he way over to the bed, not even bothering to change into her night clothes. Sayuri collapsed right upon the soft mat, and passed out the moment she lay upon it falling into a deep sleep from her exhaustion. Despite it being far from Sayuri's best and shining moment, the night is still one she will hold close to her.
