With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Ikkaku watched as the man wrapped his vines around Ikkaku's weapon. Another vine wrapped around his waist. The spear came in contact with his stomach. Ikkaku sighed. Bankai, a last resort. If Kenpachi saw him use it, he would be reassigned. Ikkaku wanted to die and fight under that man's reign. Well...That was until Ikkaku killed him, himself. A rematch is what he needed. Ikakku was not about to be impaled and die. He looked around. Kenpachi wouldn't be able to hide his reiatsu unless he knew Bakudo. Ikkaku laughed. Laughed out loud as he was about to be impaled.
"You bastard. Making me use this. Ikkaku, Madarame that is the name. Don't forget it. You are right I don't want to kill you. I would rather torture you, kill you, bring you back to life, and keep on damn killing you. Ryûmon Hôzukimaru," Ikkaku yelled. Ikkaku felt wind spiral around him. The spear stopped and couldn't pierce Ikkaku's skin. A burst of red reiatsu came out. It cut any vines or leaves. It pushed the arrancar back and gave Ikkaku space. When the red burst subsided a new foe and weapon appeared. Three large baldes shined in the forest. A scabbard with an empty mold of a dragon lied behind him. It would soon fill with red dye. In each hand was a blade that had weights and red tassels on both. His top half of his outfit ripped off. He had a few papercuts from the thorns, but all was good. His chest and upper body revealed itself.
"Hozukimaru is ready for a bloody feast. He just needs to warm up, before the pain really begins," Ikkaku said as he pointed the left and right blades at the arrancar. If the arrancar didn't pull something out of his ass he would be dead. Ikkaku grinned. It had been awhile since he had gone Banaki mode. His last attempt was cut short by Satsu interfering with a fight. Bloody hell. That's what this battlefield will turn into.
"Bastard!" He hissed as he was thorn backwards, easily landing on his feet a few feet back. Who knew that someone like him had attained Bankai?
It irked him, but he wasn't going to let it show. Nor was he going to change yet, after all, he hadn't even been hurt yet. He needed a reason to heal up before releasing, and this man had not given it to him.
"So... this is Bankai huh?" He smirked. "I never knew someone of your seating could even get something like this."
"What'd you do? Hide it from everyone?" He cracked a grin. "Something that powerful should not be hidden."
Without a warning, the final two vines shot out of his arm, immediately going for the handles of this man's weapons. Though it was Bankai, it still had elongated handles, which meant he could grapple them.
Hopefully he could immobilize the man before charging at him. "Come on Shinigami! Let's see what the hype is all about!"
He roared and charged forward, brandishing his trident in a wide arc and letting his other four vines shoot forwards as distraction.
"Bastard," The tree hissed like some dying snake. Ikkaku was early to rush into Bankai. This was becasue he never had a chance to use it. The papercuts didn't even drip blood. They were barely visible now. His chest revealed.
"So... this is Bankai huh?" He smirked. "I never knew someone of your seating could even get something like this." Ikkaku grinned.
"When were arrancar so interested on the ways we organize? My seating? Who the hell said I'm seated? Don't judge one on thier clothing, baka. Bankai is way passed your level, let's see you survive seeing it," Ikkaku said as the man dashed forward.
"What'd you do? Hide it from everyone?" He cracked a grin. "Something that powerful should not be hidden."
"Who said I hide it? What if I told you all shinigami were this strong and stronger?" Ikkaku replied.
Two vines shot at Ikkaku's handles. The amn charged and sent vines everywhere. Two easy ways for the pesky problem. The first was to use his third weapon and cut the guy in half. The second was more conventional because it didn't kill him automatticaly. That would be no fun. Second plan was this.
"Who do you think I am, this is Bankai not Shikai," Ikkaku said as he let out another burst of reiatsu. He pulled on the vines and threw the arrancar over his head. Didn't matter how many vines he used, Ikkaku could still trhow him. Ikkaku threw him before he even got into fighting distance, let alone impaling distance. The arrancar was sent soaring. Ikkaku pulled and slammed the foe into the ground. Not done, yet.
"I like being bounded by you. It means you can't run away, and have to take all my hits," Ikkaku yelled as he jumped into the air. The tassels danced as he put the blades below him and fell. The blades landed on Xiin. Ikkaku bent down and raised his baldes. The scabbared cut through the vines. Ikkaku kicked into the arrancar's stomach sending flying back. In mid air, Ikkaku slashed the foe twice with each blade before doing a double oevr head strike aimed for both shoudlers. The arrancar fell to the ground. Ikkaku fell next to him.
"Headbutts are silly eh?" Ikkaku grinend as he thrust kicked the arrancar in the face sending him back. Ikkaku sighed. It had been a while since he ahd fun. It was the arrancar's fault, he had not released. Ikkaku looked at his scabbard, half full. Damn, he had done that much.
"The name is Ikkaku Fuck'n Madarame, don't you forget it," Ikkaku said. He said fuck'n as if it was his middle name. Ikkaku smirked. Too much blood for his mere eyes, yeah right. Ikkaku didn't have a scratch on him. The vines made sure he hit his first few strikes. Stupid, thinking he can restrain Madarame. Ikkaku wiped the single sweat off his head.
(OOC: This may be Ikkaku Bankai crazy, but w/e. I tried to make certain your guy would reveal. The scabbard may be unclear but he just bends down and uses it to cut the vines, at one point. The attacks can all be dodged, blocked, w/e but I'm trying to get a point across that Ikkaku is badass and is kicking that arrancar's ass for now. Anyways this is how me and Beck fight. Single attacks take too long =P. Play safe, Dragon)

Cut, cut, and cut again. His body was being torn to shreds by the pure strength of this man's Bankai. It was something that he; however, didn't entirely mind. It was thrilling, the feel of pain.
To be honest, it had been so long since someone drew his blood, that he found himself loving the situation.
It gave him a reason to love this fight.
Without so much as a counter-attack, the Arrancar used his high-sonido to reappear a safe distance away from the bald Shinigami, frankly noticing that the man's blades were starting to crack and calculating that the man's bankai was not meant for defense. "The Lust for Blood, Arise and Devour Me!"
In an instant, his skin began to bark over, eyes rolling to the back of his head and his body painfully began to grow and mutate before the man's very eyes. His skin seemed to turn to wood, and his body grew to bout five times it's normal size.
This, was the Arrancar's true form, an ent-like creature that was massive, with hardened bark and massive limbs.
With that, the Espada like out a ear-blasting roar, the sound echoing throughout the expanse of the forest. "Now you die, Shinigami!"
Ikkaku scraped his blades, across one another. The sound of the blades running up against one another delighted his ears. The old saying would go "music to my ears." The red filled mold seemed to stay in place. Only half empty, but at the same time it was half full. Ikkaku grinned. His mouth splitting across his face.
"The Lust for Blood, Arise and Devour Me!"
Ikkaku let out a menacing laugh. The chuckle shattering glass. Ikkaku's desire to fight was only growing. The man had only seen one aspect to Ikkaku's bankai. Bankai. The only reason no one knew, was because it was a secret. Heart held to the grave type of secret. Ikkaku wanted to die under his captain, Kenpachi. The crazy bitch was his captain and he grew to respect him.
The skin of the arrancar was covered in bark. Bark of trees, to be exact. His skin was replaced by a thick bark. He started to grow in size. Sprouting like a flower, he grew to enormous heights. His limbs were of ferocious size, and he seemed like an overgrown tree. Ikkaku's eyes widened to a point they popped out of his eyes.
"Now you die, Shinigami!" The words roared in the forest. The trees seemed to shake in his prescence.
"I do not plan on dying, you overgrown tree. You have not seen the true power of my Bankai and I ensure you I will cut you down to size," Ikkaku roared back. Perhaps not as loud, but the reason behind was filled with passion. A passion to kill. Ikkaku shook his chains, moving the blades up and down.
"Bastards first," Ikkaku yelled at the tree. The two were about 100 feet apart. Ikkaku had no long range. He however had long reach. There was a diffrence. He had no long range weapon but his weapon was beyong large and reaching. Ikkaku raised his blades above his head. Quickly he smashed them to the ground. A cloud of debree covered the area in front of him. It was no precaution, but in eagerness to fight. He was not stupid enough for the first attack, though. Ikkaku raised his blade off the ground and pointed it at the tree.
"Come on, I don't have all day. Hozukimaru is tired and I'm getting restless," Ikkaku roared once more. Death in his eyes. Hate in his heart. Destruction in his hands.
"Fool." He bit back, his voice causing the trees to shiver purely from it's sound waves.
Though he could admit, the man's bankai held an amount of pressure that he found somewhat exciting, the overgrown tree still had range to his advantage, his vines sprawled about him like he had been in place for centuries.
Laughing, he looked over towards the Shinigami, who looked about as bloodthirsty as ever. "You're really full of yourself, isn't that right?" He chuckled darkly, his voice continuing to echo about the forest. "It's surprising that you can be so collected around someone of my stature."
"... most shinigami who face me tend to shrivel up in fear and attempt to run." The Espada laughed, his chuckle booming about the place. "But you're not like most Shinigami, are you?"
Without another word, the tree sent his vines forward, a total of twenty vines erupting from both his arms and they flailed through the air in the direction of his target, moving at erratic speeds.
They were unpredictable, and sadly could not be used as counterweights to be pulled on, as his mass outweighed the strength of possibly any Shinigami in existence, or so he believed.
"... most shinigami who face me tend to shrivel up in fear and attempt to run." The Espada laughed, his chuckle booming about the place. "But you're not like most Shinigami, are you?"
Ikkaku laughed. Damn right he was. Ikkaku was unlike any other shinigami. Only he would fight a giant tree espada. Unfortunately this would not end well. Ikkaku would fight to the death, and so would this arrancar.
Vines. A burst of green whips shooting out at high speeds. A power behind it so great.
Ikkaku crossed his blades. The sides of the giant blades facign the vines. He would have a broad surface rather than narrow to work with. He twisted his wrists so this would work. The blades crossed diagonally. An X type formation. All twenty vines pushed Ikkaku back. Any vines that tried to get past the defense Ikkaku lowered his third blade, scabbord, to block. The vines literally sent him flying. Ikkaku was grounding his feet, but the ground went with him. Never before had someone pushed him so hard with something so light and small.
Crash. A tree fell as the vines pushed Ikkaku so hard his back went through the tree. Leaves scattering as the branches dropped. Crash. More trees meant more crashing. Crash was a sound. A sound of leaves shaking, and large branches hitting the ground. Ikkaku could feel the wood split his skin on his back. It only pushed him on. Ikkaku hit a rock. The rock shattered most likely along with Ikkaku's back, metaphorically. They were about two hundred feet apart when the vines ceased. Ikkaku pushed the vines back. He could barely see the arrancar from here. His scabbord, crimson dye said he was only five eights full.
He touched his back. Blood seeped onto his hand. Peices of wood and rock jabbed into his skin. Wounds became holes. Holes became opennings for blood to pour out. No time to play around. This is Bankai. This is Ikkaku.
"Your crazy....Crazy!" Ikkaku shouted. Two hundred feet away, he was unsure if the arrancar could hear him. He repeated the word crazy at the top of his lungs. His voice box shattering as he yelled. Crazy. Ikkaku laughed. Blood dripped to the ground. About damn time, he bled seriously.
