With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
As Ikkaku rushed towards the Arrancar in front, Samuii began to charge a Cero in her mouth. Considering his strength, it probably would do little, but could serve as a good distraction. Using Sonido, she appeared behind the bald Shinigami and fired, quickly followed by a downward slash. Samuii knew that this opponent would be a handful, and this one would probably be one of her more difficult fights. She would have to use every trick in her book to get out of this one.
But she really did feel sorry for the other Arrancar. He'd be dead within the minutes. At least, that's what she thought.
Hyoto managed to Sonido out of the way of the Shinigami, but just barely. This Shinigami was powerful, and it was clear that both the Shinigami and the girl were more poweful than he, but he wasn't one to quit because of that. This meant they were superiors, and he hated having Superiors.
He noticed the girl's assault on their opponent, and decided he should do something to help. On that note, he charged and fired a cero, also aimed at the Shinigami.
Ikkaku smiled at the Arrancar dodging away from his attack, he didn't really want this to be over too soon, that was boring. Turning round he saw that both of the Arrancars had decided to aim and fire a cero at him. He quickly jumped backwards and slightly to the side to get out of the path of the crossing cero's and used the collision of the two as cover to appear infront of the female arrance. He swung his right hand towards the woman aiming to hit her her head side on with the sheathe of his katana and followed up with a katana swing for her waist.
Samyeru watched in awe as the Shinigami was holding his own against two enemies. The shear verosity of his attacks was something to behold. Thoug though the Arrancar seem to have an advantage, Samyeru knew that this Shinigami was more then ready to beat them. He watched the ceros fly and one bounced back toward Ikkaku. He wanted to go and intercept the blast but he didn't want to be seen quite yet. So he let it be believing that he would sense the blast and compensate.
Samuii saw that the other Arrancar had managed to dodge Ikkaku's attack. Maybe he wasn't as weak as she thought he would be. She brought her scarf up to her face, as she did when she was about to get serious. It was a good thing too, as the two Ceros collided, creating a small smoke ball. When it had cleared, somewhat, Samuii saw Ikkaku swing his sheath right up to her face, and his sword at her waist. She blocked the sheath with the back of her hand (which hurt like hell, but at least it wasn't her face), and blocked the sword with her own. Seeing that both her hands were occupied, she brought her right leg up, and kicked straight up, aimed at Ikkaku's chin.
Hyoto saw the small skirmish and, wondering if it was worth it, fired a couple bala. He couldn't see through the smoke made from the collision of the ceros, but if he was correct, the way Ikkaku had attacked would leave his back facing Hyoto, and the girl safely behind him. Or in front of him, to get technical. He shot the reishi bullets from his hand, making small, defined holes in the wall of smoke. He glanced through them, hoping his calculations were correct.
Ikkaku looked down as the foot began to swing up towards him and was going to knock it away with a kick of his own but then he sensed a release of reiatsu from behind him. He was firing bala into a close combat situation, imbocile. Ikkaku pulled away from the girl completely and dived to one side so the bala would hit her instead of him and proceeded to run head-on to the other man.
Samuii looked up and saw Ikkaku about to intercept her kick with his own, but felt another reiatsu coming towards them at a very fast speed. Before she knew it, Ikkaku had pulled away from her, and saw a barrage of Bala coming towards her. She managed to dodge most of the Bala using shunpo, but some still managed to graze her. She shunpoed behind the other Arrancar.
"What are you doing?!" she asked, infuriated, "Didn't you think for a second that he would have dodged, leaving me open!?" In truth, if she had sensed it earlier, she might have held Ikkaku tighter, preventing him from escaping and allowing the Bala to hit him, but she was pretty peeved, and yelling at him was the only way to let it out.
"If you're going to do something stupid like that again, then stay out of my way," she said, holding her sword out. "El Pulso," A dim yellow glow of reiatsu coated her blade, making it stronger and sharper. She used shunpo to appear above Ikkaku, and then dropped, sword aimed and ready to slice off his head.
"Fine." Hyoto said. That was a stupid move, he'd never thought about Ikkaku moving, but he was smart enough to play it off. He saw the girl use some attack, and decided it was time for one of his won. "Defy, Vala." He said, his zanpakuto exploding with his release.
Ikkaku grinned as the female arrancar shouted at the other. They couldn't even work together as a team, nothing about them fitted the other which would greatly reduce their supposed 2v2 'advantage'. The female arrancar spoke but not loudly enough for Ikkaku to hear and her blade began to grow slightly yellow, at the same time the other arrancar spoke and his zanpakutou appeared to be released. When he went to look back at the girl she was gone, just vanished in the split second he had looked at the other arrancar. He stood there, briefly bemused, until he heard metal gliding through air above him and he swung up his katana to block the impact, bracing himself at the same time by bending his knees. As he blocked he swung at the girls gut and if the attack made contact he planned to use the momentum to throw her towards the other arrancar.
