With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
As best she could try tried to make sure she kept in pace with bopping the damned little plastic moles as they popped their heads up. However, Sayuri's face was stern and she held the cushioned mallet as though she were holding a wakizashi ready to strike at the foes before her. Swiftly smacking each one that cropped up before her.
Although, she may have gotten a little bit too into it as at one point, she struck at one of the little moles that popped out out of its respective hole a bit too hard - causing a thud that rang out seemingly across the arcade. She grimaced a little with a nervous chuckle, but resumed in trying to keep up with her Captain as they bopped the moles as they sprung up - picking up the pace as they did.
With the ability between the two assassins, it was simple matter for the two of them to rack up a large number of tickets by the games end. Sayuri smiling pick them off of the machine, and split the long strand of tickets in half first giving one half to Soifon then keeping the other half for herself, and said with a warm, happy smile, "Sense you paid for this one I'll pay for the next. Which game do you want to play next, Soi-sama?"

"I'm curious about what it is you'd like to play," Soifon said as she coiled the length of tickets around her forearm lightly to keep them organized better.
She didn't mind Sayuri's overzealousness in the whackamole game as it didn't bring attention, well people stopped, stared, and were amazed as they scored many "Holy Moly" bonus rounds, but that was it.
Soifon was very pleased so far. Her efforts to know her better, and get her more out of her shell were assuredly working at this point.
Sayuri was having a bit too much fun perhaps, her mood had lightened up quite a bit. She draped her tickets around her neck, but when Soifon told her she wanted to know what games she wanted to play, Sayuri paused for a moment with an uncertainty expressed on her visage.
Gnawing a little at the left corner of her lower lip she thought for a second - her face slowing growing a smile, then pointed a thumb at the Dance Dance Revolution game and said as if issuing a challenge to Soifon, "There's no doubt you're better than me in martial prowess, Soi-sama. But, can you contend against the current running DDR champ in fancy foot work?"

Soifon grinned at Sayuri, "I'll take that challenge. I haven't played the game before though." No underhanded trickery, here. She only knew what she saw.
Soifon got in line with Sayuri calmly, and waited for their go on the machines. She spent the time trying to study it while Sayuri offered what advice she deemed was worth giving.
Yeah, this was a fun little relaxation vacation.
Soifon was also eager to help get some of that uncertainty off Sayuri's face as she gave an assuring smile that she was doing well.
The smile on Sayuri's face grew a little more when Soifon accepted the 'challenge', it warmed her heart a little that Soifon was willing to participate in a silly activity she liked to do in secret on her own personal time. Waiting in the long line for the DDR game, told Soifon still smiling mostly just happy to be with her, "It's simple game. Just hit the footpads with with your feet to the corresponding arrows as they appear on the screen. On the screen once the arrow fills its spot, you hit the footpad. It's all about timing and being quick on your feet. Trick I use is really from training. The techniques for keeping light on your feet in Hakuda, makes it easy."
When Soifon gave her the reassuring smile, Sayuri blushed a bit scratching the back of her head feeling comforted, "Um... Soi-sama... Thank you for... taking me on this outing, I've had a really fun time so far."

"The game sounds simple enough. I'm certain you'll be a worthy opponent," she offered a compliment to Sayuri calmly. Soifon was not going to underestimate the game, and assume she could blow it out of the water. Especially since she never learned how to dance unless it was a combat form.
"It's not a problem, Sayuri," Soifon said softly, and genuinely. It let Sayuri relax a great deal, and that pleased her. As much as Soifon hated to admit it, she felt a bit of an attachment to the girl, too. More so than any other subordinate she tried to get to know. They usually put up shields against social interaction
"I'm enjoying the trip, too," she said calmly as the line shortened, and her aggravation at the line lessened. It was certainly nice to have an excuse to relax like this.
"Have you spotted any prizes that you'd be interested in?" She asked idly as she looked at a big plush cat that sat on a rack behind the counter. She wasn't sure if she asked before, but it was small talk, so it wouldn't hurt right?
As they moved up further in the line... those damn DDR lines in the Japan arcades go seemingly forever... Sayuri grew a touched smile in response to Soifon telling she is having a nice time as well. As been told before, Sayuri never been much for social interaction, and going out and about with friends, peers, and/or colleagues she has never done, this being really her first. Naturally, she was filled with insecure thoughts of screwing up or being dull or a disappoint, even greater the fear of that coming from Soifon - her idol, and the one she secretly holds dear in her heart.
Immediately her eyes gravitated over to the racks of beanie babies like a crack-addicted eyeballing their next fix. She swallowed a little as she stared them for a long moment... so many choices... where to begin... which one to choose?!?!?
She then looked to Soifon and quietly replied, "I have a few in mind."

Soifon smirks, "Then we'll just have to win them all, won't we?" she said in a cool tone. "Our skills will be put to the test tonight," she said, making what ever excuse she could to keep it somewhat business related instead of purely pleasure.
They arrived at the DDR machine, finally, and Soifon took her position on one of the pads, and then waited for Sayuri to set the game up as she likely knew the optimal settings. If Soifon does put in a super DDR machine for training, Sayuri will undoubtedly be the expert in this.
She watched the game's opening screens go by curiously
Swaying and bopping her head a little as she mumbled the words to DDR's intro cutscene and opening music for moment unconscious as she stood beside Soifon on their respective dance pads, though after a moment of this Sayuri side glanced at Soifon and blushed a little in embarrassment, "Errr... Right...", Sayuri stuttered with a titter, she then put in enough coins into the machine for both of them to play.
As if trying to get her "groove thang on" Sayuri begun idly swishing her hips, swaying her shoulders and lightly bopping her head side to side. Though the second the game started her eyes held a steely gaze as she showed her light steps and footwork, throwing in a couple little fancy dance moves here and there. The girl's focus did not waver in the least, and did just as she suggested to Soifon through and through, even using the fancy Hakuda light footwork.
Snickering as she danced, probably even looking like a bit of an idiot Sayuri remarked, "It's all about footwork..."

Soifon started rather clumsily as she were unused to the patterns, but slowly she got an aptitude for the game, but by then Sayuri had a good lead on her.
She focused on the arrows, and began to move about, less dance, more taking it rather seriously, rather focused on it. It took her a bit to relax into it as she began moving her arms at her sides a bit to help her balance, and look more aesthetically pleasing.
Still, the veteran Sayuri seemed to have the upper hand here!
Soifon wasn't too bothered, though. She merely continued her trek to learn the game, and get used to the demands of it.
