With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Recon... He growled mentally, Who the hell does Recon?
Reconnaissance was an understatement for this particular mission; however, as it bore a little more weight then that dreaded word. Kenpachi's face went slightly grim before his mind flashed back in memory.
Apparently, hollow activity in the area had grown by a significant amount. It was almost amusing, as if the mindless hordes actually had a purpose that went past eating random souls.
Zaraki could not help but feel adrenaline begin to pump through his veins at the sheer thought of it. There would be blood spilt tonight.
The tall and imposing captain made his way slowly down the quiet streets, a couple humans walking passed him on their way home from work, none of which that could see him. Sometimes he was tempted to shove them for the fun of it... sometimes he gave into that temptation.
But that was not the reason he was here, and quickly moved past the simple low-lifes. In an instant, he kicked off the ground and began to look at the contraption that Utikake had given him before he had left.
"It'll keep you from getting lost, Zaraki-san." the sick coot had said.
Che. Kenpachi inwardly grunted. Kenpachi Zaraki does not get lost! ...only occasionally.
Following the blips on the contraptions screen. He finally drew near towards the source of a large amount of reiastu, only to find that it was a small mob of weak hollow attempting to devour a screaming group of schoolgirls.
"Che." Zaraki spat, "I might as well let them get eaten."
He sighed, "But I can't..."
Putting his right foot forward, he barreled into action with his blade drawn.
(OOC: This happense before Gillroy White desert thread) Gillroy was in the school library due to a rumor that in the library was information about Master Tallinn. He was a 8000 year old arrancar with great strength. He fluttered throguht he books making a complete mess. The school librarian was off duty. He grabbed books and flipped throught he pages with his gloved fingers. Not one book had what he was looking for. This book supposedly would tell him the location of the old man. Gillroy threw the whole book case against the wall making a loud noise. There must have been over a thousand books in there becasue when it hit the wall the books fell like rain and pages glided across the room. He was no furious.
He knew he would spend much time here, so he brought along hollows which would delay any intruders. He heard the hollows growl as they found their first victoms, small schoolgirls on a late night meeting for cheerleading. Gillroy shrugged. Human's are imperfect after all. Gillroy was set on perfection and he was content on becoming an espada. A rank that showed off his talent. He picked up another book from another shelf. Stared at it and threw it againstt he wall sendign the pages flying like debree after an explosion. It was getting dark so he snapped his fingers. A small lighter-like flame appeared above his fingers. He looked through 2/3 of all the books already. If it was not in this shelf it did not exist.
Gillroy found it moments after a book that included clues about Master Tallinn's human life. He clutched the book in his right hand and walked out of the room. He thought about taking the hollows back to Hueco Mundo using Garganta but disregarded the idea. He felt a strong reaitsu approach. His eyes jumped at the oppurtunity to fight someone so strong. He walked toward the reaitsu in a trance-like movement. He got to the room to see a tall man with his sword drawn.
"Hollows devour him," Gillroy said motioning his hand so they knew to attack. (OOC: Kenpachi ownage scene alert)
A smile split the elongated scar that ran across the man's face, splitting the scarr that ran down its left side and eye. There was a couple moments before laughter began to split the silence of the night sky.
"Brilliant!" Kenpachi roared between laughs. "I never imagined that I would find a good fight in these parts!"
However, his laughter died down as the large group of hollow began to approach him. His smile faded and eye widened slightly, as if shocked.
"This... isn't right..." Kenpachi said slowly, mind finally registering that the arrancar had sent these lowly hollow after him... after HIM! His eye twitched ever so slightly. "... OUT OF MY WAY WEAKLINGS!"
Turning his sword slightly in his hand, the large man darted forward. With a single cleave, he cut cleanly thorugh the torso of the foremost hollow before turning on the other, splitting it's skull cleanly in half. His movements were so fast that blood didn't even happen to stain his blade nor garments. Moving with speak and accurarcy, he obliterated the group within a full duration of 2.36 seconds. The hollow never even had a chance to react.
Closing his left eye for a moment, he sheathed his sword as he listened to the sound of hollow disintegrating behind him.
"Che." Was the first sound that came from his mouth. "... I hope you're bettah' than those ants."
He opened his eye slowly, a smile starting to crack across his face again.
"Hmph...You did me a favor by killing those hollows, I was coming here to kill them myself," Gillroy said looking at the towering figure. All 2.36 seconds Gillroy had seen. He watched the man precisely and how he fought. Those measley 2.36 seconds gave him a plethora of knowledge.
"2.36 seconds that's a bit slow...eh?" Gillroy said drawing his red and white sword from his sheath on his back. Gillroy gripped the sword hard with his left arm and dropped the book in his right arm on a nearbye table. He then tossed his sword in the air making it do a complete 360 degrees before landing right in his right arm. He put his right foot forward and took his left hand and clamped it on his sword under his right hand. He tilted it a bit left covering his body. The man was reckless and would be easily attacked. He sighed. This man is far from perfect. What a waste of a soul. Gillroy glanced at the room. It was too compact and filled with objects. He used sonido to get behind Kenpachi. tapped him on the shoulder with his left hand and used Sonido once more to get on the football field outside. This was much better, he thought to himself.
The field was vast. The posts were golden in color and the scoarboards were computerized with new technology. The field was real green grass. Gillroy brushed his feet across the grass. It was a bit thick most likely due to footbal being over. The field was surrounded by bleachers all 360 degrees around the field. The grass was marked by white paint markings that humans used to regulate the game. The school was rich and the field showed it. Everything was new and fresh. He brushed his grey hair with his left gloved hand and then put it back on the sword tilitng it the way he did in the room. He put his best foot forward, his right. He slightly increased the temperature about 3 degrees celsious more than before. His heat abilities were great at wearing down opponents with heatstrokes. He was in a completely defensive stance. He knew this man would be the first to make his move.
"You coming?" Gillroy said looking at the big man still in the room.

A young Shinigami, no not shinigami. A young Vizard watched from the highest row on the bleachers."Very interesting wouldnt ya say?" He spoke softly to himself. "Everything interests you." Kinoshin responded. "Yeah but thats Zaraki Kenpachi captain of the 11th squad, he's supose to be very strong, and yet doesnt even know his Zanpakuto's name." A grin grew on his face as he watched the captain and Arrancar. "This shall be exciting." He said almost enjoying not fighting down there,
Whether or not he was shocked by the arrancar's quick actions, one could only guess. As he turned towards the arrancar, a shadow hid his facial features.
"You coming?"
"Eh?" Came a voice from behind the arrancar. "How long are you going to stare over there?"
Apparently, the arrancar was not the only one who could move quickly. Though he hardly did it, the tall man had used a form of shunpou, easily appearing behind the arrancar. The voice sounded as if it were inches away from the arrancar's ear, but if he had turned around, he would see that the captain was already some good distance away from him.
A large smile split across his features and his left eye widened with amusement. So this arrancar was looking for a fight. In the back of his mind the man registered another pulse of reiastu, but decided to pretend like he didn't know about it. If he got lucky, the onlooker would choose to get involved and he would have a real fight on his hands.
A smile still etched on his face, he slowly drew his Zanpaktou, raising it high above his head.
"You want to fight?" Kenpachi asked, eye focusing on the arrancar in front of him. "Well come, show me the power of an Arrancar!"
Laughing, he charged forward at seemingly inhumane speeds, swinging his sword downwards in a deadly arc with enough force to cut through industrial concrete.
Gillroy turned around noticing the giant dashing toward him. He snickered. The man was fast for his size, but Gillroy was smaller and perhaps more agile. He used his signature High Sonido to dodge the death strike. This sonido was faster than a regular sonido. A normal sonido would not be fast enough to avoid the powerful blow. He appeared in front of the bleachers where the spectator was. For a split second he glanced at the man. Gillroy was about to use a cero and blast him to dust, but decided it a waste of energy. He watched as Kenpachi crushed the floor of the field with his almighty strike. The man's power was strong, more than that, almighty strong. The captain had a smile on his face. What a crazy guy, Gillroy thought to himself. He recognized the captain patch on his shoulder. This man would become quite a troublesome foe, he was sure of it.
Gillroy looked around. The sky was getting dark and a storm was sure to come and find the fight. Clouds overtook the sky. The plentiful grey clouds looked as if they were ready to bring a storm. They didn't however. Gillroy was sure by the end of the fight the clouds would burst and the storm would come. It wasn't night time, but the sky was already dark blue. The sun must have ran away, because it was out of sight. He then cleared his mind of those thoughts and concentrated on the fight.
"You should leave....Vizard...Unless you want to join the fight," Gillroy said not looking at the spectator. He could feel that nasty reaitsu that only a vizard could have. He didn't need a nuisance distracting him from the fight. Gillroy thought of vizards as reject shinigami. He had only seen a vizard once before, and it was patheticaly week.
"If you don't leave. I can gaurantee if you don't you will be killed," he said focusing on Kenapchi but directing his question to the vizard. Gillroy let out a burst of reaitsu that shook the ground. It created a small impact crater in the ground. The burst of air rushed around Gillroy racing one another. He darted his eyes at the giant man. His focus needed to be spot on in order to pull off his next attack. A small orange ball which radiated brightly formed in his right arm. It glowed a bright orange and got bigger slowly. The bigger it got the more it radiated. He raised his right hand, fingers over palm. The ball got large enough to fill Gillroy's whole palm. Another burst of reaitsu occured and shook the ground once again.
"Cero," Gillroy said as he pushed his arm forward sending an orange burst straight at Kenpachi.

Satsu laughed slightly also realesing rieatsu that easily rivaled a capains. He stood up to adress them. "So should I start slow or give it all I got right from the start?" He asked as his reiatsu contiued to rise slightly. He usually wasnt one to use everything he had all at once, but as he did he found he liked the surge of power from it. He used shunpo to move to the first row of bleachers. "My name is Satsu, member of squad ten. Pleased to meet you." He said drawing his Zanpakuto.

Missed? Kenpachi blinked, once... twice. No... no that's not right. He ran.
"Che." Kenpachi almost spat, moving his sword to his left hand and lifting it up, gently allowing it's blunt edge to sit on his shoulder. He was dissapointed, to say the least, if the man never parried a blow he would never be able to tell just how strong the man was.
However, dodging the blow meant one thing, he was probably rather physically weak in comparison to the captain. Otherwise, the arrancar would not have run. Kenpachi sighed, it meant that this fight would probably end up like a game of tag.
Whis was boring.
"You should leave....Vizard...Unless you want to join the fight."
Now he was addressing the bystander. Vizard? Vizard eh? Usually Vizards hated Shinigami to the pit of their souls. He smiled at the thought, maybe this would change into a three-way battle.
"My name is Satsu, member of squad ten. Pleased to meet you."
His smile dissapeared immediately. What was that white-haired little kid thinking?! Letting a Vizard into the ranks? Well, to be honest, he was really only angry because that meant that the boy was an ally, as opposed to a prospective opponent.
In Kenpachi's line of work, allies that weren't strong only meant that he would have to spend half of his energy making sure that they didn't get their butts kicked.
He hoped that wasn't the case here.
He was immediately brought out of his thoughts when a ball of orange reiastu began to form at the hand of the arrancar. This could only mean one thing. His left eye widened with interest and his smile got bigger. This would be fun.
"Cero."
He made know attempt to dodge as the ball of pure soul energy flew towards him. If anything, his smile got larger as the man stuck out his right hand. With what seemed like ease, the captain of the 11th squad caught the arrancar's cero in the palm of his hand, holding it momentarily before thrusting it to the side of him. The sphere ended up landing in the middle of the field where it detonated and took out half the field.
"... Brilliant!" He roared after a moment, before throwing his head back and laughing. The bells on the tips of his hair sounded by his head movement. "But you're still holding back! C'mon! I want you to hit me with everything you got!"
Without another word, the large man shot forward, swinging at the arrancar with a wide, sideways arc, aiming for his torso.
She silently opened the garganta open, not wanting to alert the captain immediatley. She had sensed some strong reiatsu's in the area and had decided to come check it out. When she arrived she seen an unknown captain, an arrancar, and that putrid vaizard,Satsu. The captain was about to attack the arrancar so she whipped out her zanpakuto, used sonido to get down there and blocked the attack. The captain was pressing pretty hard and she knew she could only hold him back for a few minutes. "Hello, fellas my name's Nene, pleased to meet...well one of you." She pushed back on his blade and flew off towards Satsu and fired a cero right in his face. Then began to giggle she knew it didn't kill him it was only half power, but hopefully it had annoyed him.
