The wind blew a steady breeze. It was about 4 in the afternoon. The town was crowded talking could be heard all over as the side walks were covered with people. There were many cars on the rode but there was not bad traffic. The sun shone brightly and reflected off the buildings it was around 85 degrees outside. It was a beautiful day and nothing could go wrong right?...........wrong......
Though no one around could notice an eardrum shattering shriek burst through the town. 60 feet up in the air teeth seemed to from in the air suddenly a mouth like doorway seemed to tear through the very fabric of the air. It tore straight down and out walked four screaming gillian class menos grande. Just after them 10 hollows sped out all yelling or growling and sped towards the humans mouths open. The menos began to smash buildings with their long lanky arms. the lead one opened its mouth and time seemed to slow as a red aura began to form in its mouth. SUddenly a large red beam fired at the humans all around. It was a cero. Something seemed different about these menos they were smarter about what they were doing and did not seem to attack hollows. They even had higher reiatsu. Like something was giving them power.
Simoltaneously Teeth formed 10 feet above the back menos. A much smaller portal opened. Out of this garganta stepped a short being. The being appeared to be 16 years old. He had a dull expression on his face. He had brilliant dark blue eyes that lacked emotion. He had dark brown skater like hair. His skin was a tan complexion. He stood about 5'10" which was considered short by arrancar standards because this person was an arrancar. He had the standard arrancar attire. His zipped up jacket hid the hollow hole on his sternum. A four foot long blade hung on his right hip. The arrancar's named was Haburi Kokkei. Haburi stood seemingly on nothing as he had both his hands in his pockets and stared downward at the hollows.

From the same garganta that Haburi Kokei stepped out of, another figure emerged. This one was a slim woman who was about the same height as the Haburi, but that was to be expected for a female. Her skin was vary pale, and her eyes were a cold, icy blue. Her long hair was cyan in color, the bangs partially covering the left side of her face, completely hiding her left eye. She wore a simple, sleeveless white female arrancar uniform with navy blue and teal trim and long, white fingerless gloves. She looked to be about 20 years in age, her expression seemed both youthful and mature.
She looked over to the younger arrancar, her gaze was cold and serious. "Please re-state the mission objective" she asked in a quiet, yet clear voice. She was sent on this mission at a moment's notice, she hadn't been briefed at all beforehand.

Haburi's gaze remained unbroken as his comrade stepped out of the garganta. The cero collided with the ground causing a huge explosion the pedestrians were screaming and rushing in all directions as the hollows began to eat their souls. They couldn't see what was happening but the cero and the buildings being destroyed by gillians were enough to tell them danger. Haburi thought they were such primitvies. He heard his comrade but kept staring.
"We invaded 2 weeks ago and the shinigami made a stand to stop us.....We are here to test how quickly they can regroup.....and to see if humans can be used as collateral for a quick regrouping.."

Lucia nodded slightly as Haburi explained the purpose of this mission. Lucia wasn't questioning the reason for partaking in this mission, she was loyal enough to the Espada that she didn't need to know why she had to do it, she just wanted to know what she had to do.
"I see" she said quietly. She slowly walked over the carnage below, as if there was an invisible path stretched out before her. She looked over the landscape, searching for any traces of shinigami reietsu. She didn't pay too much attention to the hollow and Gillians who were now attacking the humans, she never cared much for killing. However, she would immediately attempt to end the life of any shinigami she saw, as it was part of her objective.

Maria was sitting at home drinking a cup of tea. She also had a large plate of cookies to enjoy. It was an enjoyable day. She picked up a cookie and raised it to her mouth. She was interupted by a blast that shook the house and made her jam the cookie into her mouth. Maria spit it out. "What the hell was that!" She tried to chew and swallow the treat quickly as she rushed out the door.
She rounded the corner and saw several Gillian and a bunch of hollow. The gillian were blowing up the place and maria needed to stop it. She pulled out here gun and enchanted the gun with Bala Santamente. "Here we go." Maria ran out and charged at the nearest hollow that had attacked the apartment. She jumped over a bench and shot at the hollow quickly dispatching it. She then moved on running downtown fast. "Why do all these arrancar have to attack the city every week."

Hayashi was sent into the human world as part of a routine patrol. He had the choice of staying with pretty much any of the human allies, or even at the Urahara Shoten, but he preferred solitude. Society wasn't really his thing, he found that more often then not he ended up getting in a fight when he was around other people.
His large body was propped up against a decaying wooden pillar that seemed to be bending against his weight and his zanpakuto was laying across his lap. Sleep was beginning to overcome him when the invasion began. The sudden surge of strong spiritual pressure woke him immediately as if someone had dumped a bucket of ice water on him. He rushed to his feet and hurried outside of the warehouse.
Immediately after exiting the warehouse Hayashi found himself face to face with a hollow. Hayashi could feel much stronger reiatsu coming from the heart of the city and he knew he couldn't waste his time with this low level scum. He immediately drew his zanpakuto and slashed the hollow's mask in half causing it to dissipate into thin air. The shinigami hurried towards the incredible reiatsu's source and dispatched multiple low level hollow on the way. When he arrived at the source he encountered a human girl who seemed to be shooting the hollows with a gun. He quickly jumped in and began to aid the girl.

Haburi watched the two newcomers attempt to slow the attack. They would find their resistance futile. The garganta that the two arrancar had come out of released 10 more hollows putting the new total at 16 and these ones would be about at the level of that of Grand fisher and shouldn't be taken lightly. Haburi stood on the sky as the garganta would close behind him. The powered up gillians all opened their mouths and fired ceros sending four powerful beams of reiatsu towards the two resisters. Most of the humans had now fled from the area.
"If you wish to take care of them.....your free to do so....."
Haburi spoke emotionlessly to his fellow arrancar.

Hayashi grinned as the hollows poured out of the garganta, he hadn't had a good fight in a while. He immediately chanted his shikai's release command. The zanpakuto turned bright white and began to form around his hands. When the light dissipated Hayashi's fists were covered in a dark metallic gauntlet with claws coming out of each. A long black chain connected the two gauntlets at their base. The hollow charged up their cero and Hayashi's eyes widened. He wasn't scared for himself, but he didn't know the limit of this human's powers. Most likely she wouldn't be able to handle it. He quickly shunpo'd in front of the human and slammed his gauntlet into the ground and channeled his reiatsu through the earth. A large wall of rock formed in front of the pair just as the cero arrived. The beams violently exploded against the rock, completely destroying it. The shield had absorbed the majority of the cero's destructive power but enough got through to send the pair flying. Hayashi had grabbed the woman and shielded her from the damage, holding her in his large bearish arms as he skid on his back along the ground. "Are you okay?" Hayashi stood up and helped the girl to her feet. "We're going to need help....."

Lucia stared coldy at the shinigami and the human as they fought the hollows. They were strong, strong enough to present a challenge for their small force of hollows. Just as Haburi began give Lucia permission to attack the two, the Menos fired their combined ceros at them. The shinigami released his shikai and erected a large stone wall to shield himself and the human, this gave Lucia the impression that he was stronger than the human, he was a shinigami after all.
"Hai" Lucia said in low, icy tone. She wasn't excited about facing them, but she was bent on completing her mission, and killing them was the only way to do that. The static punctuation of Sonido was briefly heard as she suddenly vanished, appearing behind the stone wall less than a second later.
Without bothering to introduce herself to her opponents as many arrancar would, she immediately dashed towards the shinigami, her arm lashing out at his neck, her hand extended so that her simple attack would cut like a blade.

As Maria was attacking another hollow, someone had ran up to her and was trying to help. "I got this Shinigami" She pointed to herself and to the soft glow of the barrel muzzle "I am not a normal human and as you see this isn't a normal gun." Maria noticed the cero charge up and tried to get out of the way but the shinigami who was now in shikai shielded the attack and then proceeded to grab her. "Watch where you put your hands you Baka!"
Maria scraped her knee on the pavement during the slide. "Geez. Yes I am okay, and yes you need to call your friends..." Maria stood up and dusted herself off. She looked at the shinigami and addressed him in a brash manner "Like I said before I can deal with the minor hollow and maybe a Gillian or two. I am not a damsel in distress. But i am not so sure about the..."
Maria was stopped by the female arrancar who sonidoed into the fight. Maria muttered to herself "Why am i always interrupted at a time like this." She ran to the side and grabbed her gun which was laying beat up from the blast. She pulled it up and took aim at the arrancar. The next second she fired a rushing bullet straight to the head.
