With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Some of you may have heard this, and some of you may have not. But appearently...
Warner Borthers is going to try to create Bleach into a live action movie. I've heard that it could be rater R since they're going along with the Manga, but what do you guys think? Is this good or not?
I hear a lot of NOS! from other places I've checked, soo I'm not so sure. Comments on this anyone?^^
Lol are you not American? Well, if they made is as good as the transformers movies then I'd like it, but if it sucks as much as the death note then i gues..not. I'm not sure yet though, I'm still interested to just see, it's not going to ruin my perspective of animezness ^^

Meh, most anime movies are automatically pretty fail when they get adapted into live-action. The first Transformers was good, but that also had completely normal humans, and the action was done by CGI robots. I can't say I really liked the musical all that much either. Dai, I think you have a little too high expectations. I mean, you don't see Japanese movies made entirely in English with English actors (Some exceptions, probably, but I doubt they were very, very big movies). If that's the case, why not just make it in Japan, under a Japanese label? It wouldn't sell in theaters in America, or hell, any other country that doesn't speak Japanese.
So in conclusion, they would be hard pressed to make a good movie out of it. Not even if it was, hypothetically, made entirely in Japanese. It's not their fault... it's just near impossible to make a good adaptation. An okay one? Maybe. But it could also end up "Dragonball Evolution" bad. Not worth the risk.
Votes Halle Berry for Yoruichi, though. Seriously, Berry is friggin 43 and still hot as hell. *Insert Catwoman joke here*
I would want them to keep all the Japanese terminologies the same, IE, Taichou, Fukutaichou, instead of, 'Captain,' 'Lieutenant.' Also, if they base it off of the English manga, I shall be sad. The English Manga butchers all of the Japanese terminologies. Hell, I doubt they'll even call 'Zanpakuto' a zanpakuto. They'll probably call it a soul cutter. And they'll probably call the divisions 'company.'
Those are the objections I'd have, but I'm also curious to see the special effects. IE, if you look at the new Avatar movie... Fuck I wanna see that. xD
As for Dai, you're missing the point. American companies in general are trying to make money, and most people don't speak Japanese here, nor do they like subtitles. It's the same way in Japan, hence the fact that they really only use their own language. I tend to prefer them keeping the terminologies the same as the Japanese.
...
Us poor Americans. We didn't even know that Ichigo's name also means strawberry until we jumped into google. <.<
Anywho, Dai, don't write it off just because it's American, that's sort of racist/regionalist/stereotyping. Let's go with that last one. <.< Pirates of the Caribbean was made by Disney for God's Kyra's sake. o.o
Anyways, if it has good special effects, I'd say yes.
Character List "Let's eat, Grandma!" "Let's eat Grandma!" Commas save lives.
My apologies. I've just seen too many good anime being ruined by companies like Warner Brothers before, and I don't really want to see it happen to Bleach.
Lol Well, now that I think about it, it might not be such a good idea at all. I just got done watching the live action movie for Blood..and that kinda really sucked, and the acting was pretty terrible and the blood looked like marbles spilling out of a bag...so unrealistic lol

I thought Blood was made in like, early nineties with that sort of CGI... but copy-written 2009? Probably produced and edited and all that crap in 06-08... still, should have had FAR better graphics than that.
