With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Samyeru was surprised at the reaction of these two, one was willing to die by the others hand, and he was the stupid one. The shear stubbornness of these two was overwhelming, he almost wanted to smack them, and knock some sense into them. "Fine, I tried to convince you that this wasn't the way but it seems I failed." He said stepping away from Hotaru's way, looking over at Kaki once more.
"For all that it's worth, it was nice to meet you." He gave her a smile while turning away from the sight that was about to unfold.
Hotaru was also surprised that Kaki wanted to end her life. She didn't quite understand it but she would oblige her request. "Then allow me to bring you death, nee-chan." She said grabbing her zanpakuto and walking over to Kaki. She looked over at Samyeru once more, thinking maybe he'll try something to stop this.
Samyeru wasn't going to, he would just end up causing more suffering between the two. He just kept his eye's closed and back turned from the sight.
Hotaru brought her sword up, in an angle aiming for Kaki's heart. It would be a clean strike and would end her sister's life with as little pain as possible. Her sword moved toward Kaki's heart, each second seemingly taking an hour.
Closer and closer the sword came, Samyeru's fist clinched knuckles white and waiting for the Kaki's last breath to escape her. This however wasn't to come.
Kaki was sure that Hotaru would kill her this time; once again she began to murmur, "Gomen, Hotaru, gomen nasai," as she waited for the sword to pierce her heart. She wasn't just sorry for what she had done; she was sorry that she had no means of making ammends. If she was stronger, she would help Hotaru fight off those shinigami. The fact of the matter was, she just wasn't that strong.
She closed her eyes, sure that this strike would finally take her down; sure that it would all be over in a brief moment. Sure that the instant it touched her flesh she would know it was over.
But it never made contact; yet another man entered, two words accenting his entrance. "Spit," he called, "Sanseiu."
The clanking of a flat-ended katana against Hotaru's own weapon rang through the mountains, loudly. An emotionless man, tall, with glasses and oily black hair, tied back into a ponytail, had arrived. He pushed the blade away from Kaki as if no effort was needed to knock the younger shinigami's blade away from the vizard. Normally, he'd let the little traitor be killed. She lied. She tried to delay their search. She tried to hinder Sereitei's justice.
He felt no need to speak to these creatures. To him, they were less than human. They were less than the scum in the seventieth district. They deserved no words, so he would not give them any. Just the release of his zanpakuto.
He lifted a hand, pointing towards Hotaru. "Bakudo number nine, Geki." That flash of red light surged forward; he knew if she was caught in it she was caught. There would be no escape. Not this time.

Daigoro grimaced. Damn that Sanmaru, simply rushing in like that. He sighed, and flash-stepped next to him.
"You are hasty, boy. But you did well, I'll admit that." He looked straight up at Hotaru, whom the kido had been fired at. Finally, he had found his target. Finally, this farce was over. He sighed again, and drew his zanpakuto, holding it in it's usual inverted grip. He held his right hand up, level with his shoulder, and began to focus his Reiatsu into the tattoo on the back of it. The tattoo glowed white, and shattered. From the symbol, grew black tattoos that worked their way up his right arm, and flicked themselves around his right eye. The moment that was completed, his reiatsu grew.
"Seal Release, complete." He then began to watch the scene, keeping an eye on the girl, lying on the ground. She had led them on a wild goose chase before, so he wasn't giving her a second chance.
Hotaru was pissed once more because of another interloper, her sword was blocked once, but this time by another blade. She looked at the new menace, his glasses wearing face annoyed her to no end. She cringed her teeth as she was easily blocked by this strange new man.
After she was blocked, she wanted to yell at him, but that's when he used a kido spell. She didn't want to be caught in the spell, but she couldn't avoid it in time. She closed her eyes as the red light came her way, but she felt something else hit her.
When she opened them, she was in Samyeru's arms, being carried out of the way of the spell. It was only a short distance, just to get her out of the way, after which he placed her down. "I still don't trust you." She said to him adjusting her view away from him, this caused some discomfort on her part. She looked over at Sanmaru, grabbing her zanpakuto tightly in her hand.
"What do you Shinigami think your doing?" Samyeru said, telling off Sanmaru and Daigoro. He was kinda happy that they came and interrupted this shameful act of family killing family, but he wasn't going to allow them to take the sister against their will.
"You have no right to mess with these girls. I don't care about your laws, this is a family matter." He told them while bringing his defenses up. The last shinigami he encountered was nice, helped him out of a jam, but these two smelled different.
"Nani?" mumbled Kaki, opening her eyes. A moment later, she corrected herself. "NANI!?"
Ignoring the tiny vizard, Sanmaru turned towards Hotaru and Samyeru. Not a word was uttered, at first. He looked at them with a cold and calculating gaze. The girl had to be weaker than him, but may be able to hold her own for a little while.
"If you assist this rogue," Sanmaru stated bluntly, "you will be dealt with according to the crime. It is necessary to keep order." Sanmaru took no measures in explaining his words; in a moment his sword would be producing acid. By the time he reached the girl, his sword would be covered in the substance.
He began to step forward, eyes emotionless and stoic. This man would be the death of Hotaru. That's what he thought.
"Matte," Kaki mumbled. She wanted to yell to Hotaru, 'run!' She wanted to scream to the girl, 'escape!' Hotaru wouldn't listen to her. And what if these shinigami were faster? Kaki felt powerless. She was their enemy too, at this point. But if Hotaru was going to die, if she was to lose, couldn't she at least die peacefully?
She acted without really thinking about it. Her hand flew to her face, she clawed her hand and summoned her mask; the ivory sheet materializing beneath her palm. Seven spikes shot up, a crown on the mask.
From behind Sanmaru's back, her hand flung forward as she began to charge a cero, the green energy collecting around her hand. She didn't charge it all the way, just shooting it off at the man's back as quickly as she could. "Stop it!"

Daigoro stepped in front of Sanmaru, standing between him and the other man. He sighed.
"My target is Hotaru. I would simply wish that our job was over quickly, with minimum casualties. If I cannot stop injuries from occuring, and take Hotaru back, then I will be forced to take drastic measures. And that may include me using Bankai. And we don't need any of that happening, right?" He sighed, and held up his sword to the man's throat.
"Now hand her over, with as little resistance as possible. Please." But then he heard it. The movement of the girl, putting on her mask. He turned around suddenly, and saw it. She had fired a cero at Sanmaru, and Daigoro wasn't even in shikai. He grimaced, he could do nothing.
Samyeru wasn't liking this situation, seeing that he was being threaten by some guy who didn't even give his name. He looked at Daigoro with his silver eyes narrowing at the Shinigami. "I don't care whether your job is to have a tea party. No one is hurting this girls while I'm here." Samyeru said, swiping the sword from his throat and punching forward with his fist in one swift motion.
His fist aimed for Daigoro's gut, the force behind this punch has caused many to go unconscious from it alone. He didn't like to fight, in fact he tried to avoid it on several occasions, but something told him that talking wasn't going to be an option here.
Meanwhile, Hotaru was surprised at Kaki's response to the situation. She wasn't going to let Kaki's defending her change her mind about killing her or let her show her up. "Divide, Chika!" Her zanpakuto started to change from a katana to buyoh.
The pale pink parasol in her hands, she looked at Sanmaru and launched her attack. "Kyoushuu no Hana!" The wave of reiastu came from the center of the parasol, starting in a pink wave. If she got her aim right, her pink attack should change to yellow the second it got to Sanmaru.
The cero struck Sanmaru in the back of the head, knocking him forward into Hotaru's attack, just in time for it to turn yellow. "Oomph!"
He did not expect the sisters to attack him. Not like this. The first attack singed his ponytail--it didn't do too much damage but it took its toll on Sanmaru. The second blast was weaker than if the girl had aimed for someone more her level, but it was still enough to cause the man to fall flat on his back, changing directions in an instant. But Sanmaru wasn't done yet. Gasping for the briefest of moments, taking the quickest breaths of air, he leaped to his feet once more, blade in hand.
The timing was just right, however, for his blade to become coated with acid.
"I knew hollows were nothing but trouble," Sanmaru grunted, turning his blade on Kaki with an overhead slash, bits of acid falling to the little girl. That wasn't an attack though, it was a punishment. Sanmaru would merely restrain her for the moment, wait for her mask to shatter. "Bakudo number one, sai!"
The bakudo caught Kaki, and she found her arms locked behind her back. She couldn't break lose of it, so she would have to use her legs. No problem, right? She wasn't about to give up just yet. The man before her looked like he was hurt, so Kaki had to take this chance.
I can't let them take Hotaru... I did this to her. I did this. I need to fix it... but what good is it if she dies anyways? I have to figure something out...
She leaped forward, throwing a kick right at the man's stomach, slamming into it with all the strength she could muster. If she didn't have her mask on, she would likely be distracted by the pain. But for now, she needed that mask. She needed that ivory sheet over her features, helping her stay strong enough to take down this shinigami.
But she wasn't strong enough, she reminded herself. She needed Hotaru's help. But there had to be other ways.

Daigoro felt the fist suddenly go into his gut, and his eyes opened wide from the shock. His breath came straight out of him, and he flew back a couple of feet, landing on his back on the ground. He stayed there for about five seconds, before pulling himself back to his feet and taking a long breath. He grimaced, and stood up straight.
"I had hoped that you would simply give Hotaru to us without violence. Attacking others... annoys me." He sighed, and his eyes narrowed.
"But... you attacked me. And I'm not one to... give up that easily. He looked down, and flicked his zanpakuto to his side.
"Sharpen, Kiba Ookami." Once he had spoke the phrase, his zanpakuto shot out, twice it's length, creting a blast of Reiatsu as it went. He the flash-stepped in front of the man, and sighed once more.
"Look, I can tell from the look on your face that neither of us really want to go ahead with this. Can't we just call it quits? If you're looking for the one who wants to hurt Hotaru, he's over there..." Daigoro motioned towards Sanmaru with another sigh.
Man, this had to escalate into a fight... Daigoro thought to himself, all the while keeping his zanpakuto ready to defend any attacks.
Samyeru kept his eyes on Daigoro as his punch caused him to move backward. When Daigoro stood back up from his punch, he took a defensive fighting stance, and watched him released his Shikai.
Once the man flashed stepped in front of Samyeru, he looked over at Sanmaru, and gave Daigoro a smirk. "They can handle themselves. Besides," He said bringing his attention back to the man at hand. " I'll call it quits when you leave without Hotaru." With that Samyeru shifted from his humanoid form to his wolf one.
Much larger then an average Japanese wolf, he resembled a Grey wolf, but his clothes remained on his body. The process only took a second, but after he did that he began his assault. He started to sonido around Daigoro, leaving at least one after image behind, until he came from behind in a full body tackle.
Hotaru decided to take this opportunity to attack Sanmaru. So she charged him, jumped up for a full strength kick to his back. She timed it just as Kaki kicked him in his gut, hoping to get this guy to quit.
After she finished her kick, she flashed stepped back a few feet. She held her zanpakuto in her hands, waiting to see what happens next. It was at this time that she saw Samyeru during his fight with Daigoro, still kinda freak out that he can shift his form, but had to admit his speed was impressive.
