With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Staring off a little bit as she listened to Soifon's suggestion, Sayuri took a moment to think about what she was saying, and while it may not have been exactly what Soifon was telling her, Sayuri concluded, "I see... then I have been failing you as 5th Seat, Captain... I'm sorry... I... I will ease up on my activities."
She then looked to Soifon with an earnest gaze, "It was never once my intention to appear unavailable to you, Captain. Never. If you ask anything of me, I will do it.", she turned her eyes away as if she wanted to say more, but could not bring herself to it.

"I understand that, Sayuri," Soifon nodded slightly, "I know the loyalty you have very well." she smiled a bit. "I'm glad you've heeded my advice. I see a lot of potential in you waiting to come out, and it'd be a shame to see it damaged," she complimented a bit as they rested in the dojo, which was her original plan.
"How do you relax, when you do?" Soifon asked as if she never relaxed, but that wasn't true. She admitted that she relaxed when they met that night. Still, she was curious, and wanted to be humored, or something. Maybe it was a poor attempt at small talk. Soifon always had a problem expressing herself, and well, when she did in the past, she were made to look a fool. She remembered some 100 years ago when she served under Yoruichi, and tried to uncover the laziness of that bum Urahara.
Tittering at the question with a grimace a little nervous to say at first, she scratched the back of her head for a second as she blushed, "Well - uh... I... um... once a month I go to the human city Karakura... uh...", she gulped timidly worried what Soifon will think of her so she was a bit evasive in her answer, "and just wander about the town... for a few hours, then come back...", she tittered again.
In an attempt to get the subject off of her and also learn a bit more about Soifon, she asked with even an unconscious tone of innocence to her voice, "Wh-What do you do to relax, Captain?"

"Karakura town is a good place to visit. I go there now and then myself," where she shops for black cat styled items, and has them delivered to 2nd division barracks which more than a few people noticed, though they were all in boxes.
And she often tracks down cats she think might be Yoruichi... Well, anyhow, that's enough of that.
"I go to the hot springs when I know no one else is there. I meditate," She meant oggle pictures of Yoruichi, but she wouldn't say that, "and now, recently, I try to create exercises for Squad 2, though, I admit, some advice would be appreciated." Did she admit a weakness?
Sayuri's brow furrowed a little bit, "I never been to the hot springs... I often worry there's going to be some... pervy peeping tom, or something...", her head tilted a little bit in curiosity, "What sort of meditation?", she trains obsessively, meditation is not unknown to her and something she does from time to time, though she was completely oblivious as to what she was really asking of Soifon with that question.
Though she was a little taken aback by Soifon's admitting a weakness to her, perhaps taking it more for what it was out of a bit of naivete, she felt a measure of pride that Soifon felt that she could admit such in front of her, "Perhaps a Division wide Hakuda training exercise, like what we do in the Onmitsukido... Nothing technical, just the basic warm up exercises... Kind of like those people in the Karakura park who get together and do what the humans call tai chi exercises. Only we do so with our martial art, Hakuda. Besides, not all of 2nd Division is very proficient in hand to hand combat. And as we both know, only a fool trusts their life to a weapon, an assassin must be innovative."

"You're in my squad, Sayuri. You should be expert in surveillance, and thus aware of potential peepers should they be around." Soifon said, sure it was a reflexive modesty that made her say that, and not incompetence in the area of spying, and counter spying.
"My mediation is something done for personal reasons, and mental clarity," she said calmly keeping her mind blanked so she wasn't hit with pleasant memories.
Soifon nodded in approval to Sayuri as she gave out an idea. She liked the fact that Sayuri was quick thinking, and able to come up with a quick idea. It wasn't an out of the ordinary thought, was it, though? Well, regardless, she came up with a quick, workable idea. Soifon decided not t over compliment the girl, and keep her from gaining any sort of dangerous ego, though.
She'd hope that she could get al of her squad in on this one. This was to be a bonding experience, she hoped.
"Do you want to come with me on a visit to Karakura town?" she didn't say patrol, and she didn't intend it as such, but, well, if trouble came, then it did.
Grimacing a little in reaction to Soifon's comment in regards to peepers, Sayuri found she did not really have a leg to stand on to dispute it, not that she would if she did - she would never dispute her Captain; but even if Soifon were not, it was a reply that sort of shut Sayuri down. Though, Soifon's response in regards to her meditation, she nodded her head passively not wanting to intrude on Soifon any further seeing it as a boundary not to cross even though she did not really understand why. Though, she wound up smiling a little when Soifon approved of her idea for the 2nd Division exercises.
Although, Soifon's question made Sayuri's eyes pop open wide in surprise and immediately replied though perhaps a tiny bit too excitedly, "R-Really? Yes!", she then bit her lip realizing she should take it down a notch, and nodded gratefully to Soifon, "Um, yes... Yes, Captain, I would like that.", the offer was almost a dream come true regardless of whatever capacity the offer is intended for. The chance to go off somewhere, anywhere with Soifon is something she had hoped for, for a long time now.

"Get your Gigai, and meet me at the gate to Karakura Town, then. We'll be going in those. And don't forget your soul candy," she wanted to be certain that there were no gigai left strewn about should they have to fight something.
She stood slowly, and then headed for the door of the Dojo.
