"Hey Pachi-san, get your own damn sake," Aoide scowled deeply and then her head was hit with a spatula, she then pouted a little, "So mean to me!" she whined rubbing her head. Luckily the spatula hadn't left a hug grease-mark on her bangs. She refilled her glass, getting one for Kenpachi while she was at it, and handed a pink, flowery handkerchief to Ikkaku to wipe the meat mess off of his head. She grinned at the different Shinigami who were introducing themselves. New friends! She liked new friends, except when they were kissing one another.
"Tche," she said letting a sound out of her lips of disproval, "I guess Ikkaku you should have brought you human girlfriend, looks like making out is on the agenda," she mentioned casually before ducking a stray sake glass, "No need to get huffy, just stating what I see," she laughed before she turned at the sounf of a voice, her eyes widening. That was the coolest robe she had ever seen! It was so pink! and flowery! Aoide almost danced for joy, but stopped herself, last thing she needed was to be teased for dancing.
"Aoide, pleasure," Aoide spoke looking casual.

To the boy's reaction, Satsu, if he had heard correctly... Zaraki could only laugh. Did the captain really leave an impression as hard as that since the battle in the human world? True, Kenpachi did not like the fact that the boy was a vizard hiding among their ranks, but that didn't meant he was going to hurt him. The rules of Soul Society mattered little to Kenpachi Zaraki, which was apparent due to him creating a seperate code of conduct for his squad.
"Che." He ground out, turning his attention away from the white haired vizard and back to his patties. A boy like him wasn't really worth his time.
"Hello, my name is Matsuri Kudo, pleasure to meet you all, baldy, white hair, captain, lady i've never met, and captain Zaraki most people use a spatula to cook on the grill, not in replacement of a sword."
"Eh?" His left eye swiveled to meet the newcomer to the steadily increasing group near his grill. Were people really that hungry? Or were they just all expecting him to burn the food? "I ain't like most people, girl."
Then she had the guts to go so far as to demand a burger. He raised an eyebrow, slowly turning to face the girl completely, towering over the shinigami like she was a midget or a life-size chibi.
"What did you say?" Kenpachi asked, his voice rather low, his hand brandishing his spatula. "I didn't hear a please."
Noticing the sizzling sound that notified him that a piece of meat was done. He quickly turned back to the grill and flipped a burger out. By the time he was done with that, he found that she had dissapeared.
Huh... Kenpachi thought to himself. I guess I scared her off or somethin'.
"Good one Bakabakashii-sama. Maybe you should pay attention to the burning patties. I would like mine well done. And try not to get drunk again like in the training grounds, too....eh?"
He paused for a moment before turning back to the grill. "Did you say rare? I think you said rare."
He smiled maliciously and flopped a fairly bloody piece of meat onto a plate before shoving it into Ikkaku's hands. "And I wasn't drunk, baka."
Yumeji waved at Zaraki with a smile, and some cheer on her face in a big smile. Maybe she wanted to make a good impression on the captain, or maybe she had some other reason.
When the girl waved back at him, he responded with a nod. However, she made no attempt to introduce herself to him, so he simply returned to tending to the grill.
"Ah Zaraki, I see you have brought the sake."
"Eh?" Kenpachi turned, getting a view of the hippie-like captain in his usual attire. "Ah, Shunsui. How you been? Y'know I'm actually surprised that you yourself didn't bring some sake. Don't tell me you'll be drinkin' all of mine."
"Hey Pachi-san, get your own damn sake, so mean to me!"
"Gaki," Kenpachi stated offhandedly, "I wouldn't be me if I weren't mean to you."
When he turned to face her, he realized that she had gone off some distance for more sake. Sighing, he wondered if there was ever anything else on that girl's mind. Probably not.
But then again, there was that nightmare.
Shaking off his thought, the tall man flipped out another burger before passing it to a random Shinigami. Soon after, a random sake cup was passed to him.
"Eh?" He muttered, turning his attention to the source. Apparently, Aoide had been nice enough to get him his own glass.
"Arigato." He muttered begrundgingly, but apparenlty, she was too caught of with dancing about Shunsui's robe. The sight made him laugh loudly.

Ikkaku watched as the robed man made his way up the hill. It was captain Shunshui, and it seemed as if his vice captain had trailed along. He was a bit too interested in the ladies however. Ikkaku made his way to the sake. Ikkaku simpley poured himself some and sat down. He took a sip of sake before slamming it down on the table. Drops flew out the cup and onto the table. Ikkaku looked around noticing what was going on. Aoide was looking at Shunsui and satsu was talking to Matsuri. Kenpachi was all alone cooking on his grill. Ikkaku sat back in the chair and took another gulp of sake. His right hand held the sake while the left hand rested on the table. He looked around. Kenpachi had mentioned something about his human girlfriend which he had no idea of who he spoke of. He scratched his head. At least no one made a deal about it. Ikkaku guessed everyone saw it as a joke. Ikkaku heard as Kenpachi asked him if he had said raw. Kenpachi shoved the plate into Ikkaku's hands. Ikkaku stared at the bloody slab.
He passed the plate to a nearbye shinigami. Ikkaku realized the plate was for him, but he remembered asking for a well done slab of meat. Ikkaku made his way toward Kenpachi still holding the cup of Sake. His drink was still half full by the time he got to Kenpachi. He was south west of the large figure. He could barely see the grill. Ikkaku put both hands behind his head in a relaxed gesture. He still held the Sake tightly behind his head. He waited for Kenpachi to notice him before saying anything. Either way he was still his captain and while they could joke around, loyalty and respect was still needed.
"Captain-sama, I asked for a well done steak. Don't tell me your hearing is going out. It comes with age, I know Captain. I just figure it would be easier to beat you in a fight when your senses are failing you. Anyway, where's the vice captain? I figured she would enjoy a nice bbq. Your shoulders seem empty without her," Ikkaku said grinning looking at the grill.

<"Nanao-chan! Oh Nanaoooo-chan! Hurry up with the blanket Nanao-chan!" >
Nanao cursed her captain, her face hidden by Shunsui's "Blanket." I can't believe he dragged me into this... Another one of his excuses for not doing any paperwork... The blanket weighed far more than it ought to, and she wasn't of a mind to get it to her captain any time soon, so she took her time.
She started breathing slightly. This hill's higher than I remembered it...
Finally reaching the barbecue, she quickly scanned the premises trying to locate her lazy captain--it didn't take long, what with his wearing the most readily recognizable attire out of anyone in the Gotei 13: a floral, pink Kimono. Completely unsurprisingly, he was already among a group of women.
Nanao sighed, the man irked her incessantly, carelessly...
She came right up behind him and pushed up her glasses, looking disappointingly at him, his Royal Majesty's blanket in her arms. She dropped it on the ground and took out her fan, smacking him with it before folding it out and providing her face with some much needed air.
[pink]"Here's your blanket, -Captain,-"[/pink]
