With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.

Captain Commander Retsu Unohana sat on her legs upon an outdoor rug with a low table in front of her with a tall cup of tea, and a tea pot on said table.
She sipped her drink softly and then turned her attention to the setup before her.
Tommyco was assigned to sit some 10 yards ahead of her for a better view, and to keep him away from Unohana.
Beyond Tommyco's assigned spot was the execution platform where his gang members were restrained, and forced to into knelt positions by random guards.
The whole scene rested atop the peak of the Sokyoku Hill which was hundreds of feet high, and offered a view of most of the Seireitei.
A simple set up for a simple situation.
The execution of those disloyal to the Gotei 13.
Still, despite the simple set up, security was tight as they expected an escape attempt.
It's here Unohana awaited the volunteer executioners who were brave enough to step forward and execute people in front of her and display what ever killing talent they decided to use.
She didn't have to wait long, however.
Soifon went ahead of the rest, and arrived on behalf of her role as commander of the punishment branch of the Onmitsukido to enforce any laws that might be broken here, and she truly hoped that there were laws broken, especially if she got the chance to kill Tommyco.
She stood next to Unohana calmly in her Captain's outfit which trailed in the wind lightly. Her arms were crossed calmly, and she had an evil smirk on her face as she looked forward to executing one of Tommyco's gang members. It was the next best thing to killing the stupid bastard himself.
She expected quite a few people to jump at the chance to execute someone.
Why was he even here? He didn't really understand the concept. Well, that wasn't true. It was common for captain to be called to perform executions from time to time, a gruesome but neccessary task. Kenpachi Zaraki was often called to perform this duty, solely due to the fact that people believed that he would enjoy it due to his insane lust for blood.
But that in itself was not true. He absolutely hated the task of cutting someone down who had no ability whatsoever to fight back. It negated his ability to have fun in the midst of a good fight.
Because it wasn't a fight to begin with.
Still, it was his duty as a captain of the 13 corp guard squads to punish those who defied the laws of the Soul Society. He mentally shuddered, someday, Yachiru would have to do this too.
Earlier that day he had told her to stay as far away from the hill as she could. It was true, that she had seen tons of blood in the past. But what she hadn't seen was blood that spilt without there being an actual fight. What she hadn't seen was him spill blood when the one on the receiving end was completely hopeless.
He had told her from the beginning that it was something that he despised doing.
Dressed in his usual rags and donned in his 11th squad's haori, the man known as the Demon stood atop the Sokyoku Hill with a rather grim expression set upon his face.
As he stepped up to execution's stand, the man to his place beside Soifon, who seemed unusually happy about the entire situation. Kenpachi Zaraki did not know all the details, for he was not present during the trial, but he did know that all who stood on trial were riff-raff from her squad.
Knowing Soifon, Kenpachi could tell that she had good reason to despise those who were guilty. Discipline had to be restored, these men had to be made an example out of.
Like he said, he despised having to do this. But he had known Soifon long enough to know that she would never hate so irrationally. This was his duty, and he would carry it out on this blood-stained hill like he had so many times before in the past.
Hitsugaya Soon arrived at the Sokyoku Hill after coming to full stop he pauses for a moment to look around at who was here, there were many faces he knew and some he didn’t, looks like people wanted to see someone die, he then goes to the side of the commander, and stands beside her, as he does ten of his division show up and begin to address him saying. “Captain we have arrived as per your orders, what do you wish us to do. With that captain Hitsugaya looks to them and says, “Right I want you to reinforce the Security on the hill I don’t want anyone running riot and as for the rest of you go stand with Tommyco and make sure he watches his friends face the full might of the Soul Society. With that Hitsugaya goes back to looking at the stand where this will take place, staying close to the commander encase someone was going to try something

Satsu, who was running late, appeared behind his captain panting. "Hitsugaya Taicho," He said making sure to properly adress his captain while other captains were around. "Forgive me for my lateness. What would you like me to do?" He asked looking around at everyone there.
Judgment day, she wished it was Tommyco on the damn platform for her to execute personally, but one of this traitorous comrades will have to suffice... this time. Traitors die, those who do not follow Captain Soifon's will within 2nd Division are nothing shy of traitors. Sayuri seldom ever feels anger or rage, it is a base emotion that must be garded against - it destroys the focus an assassin requires to do their job right, but in this case she was infuriated by the sight of those who betrayed Captain Soifon - they earned their fate thoroughly.
As per her usual when with her Captain, Sayuri is out of the way but near, ready to act upon Soifon's will the second she utters it. Silently she stood behind Soifon to Soifon's right side, so if Soifon wished all she had to do was look over her right shoulder and Sayuri would be right there to receive whatever Soifon commanded of her. On top of which, this is the execution of Shinigami, precisely what the Executive Militia of the Onmitsukido are utilized for - to hunt down and assassinate - execute - Shinigami criminals. Traitors certainly fit the mold for those to be executed by the Executive Militia, and Sayuri firmly believed Tommyco as a traitor himself should be up there with the rest of the soon to be executed lot.
Sayuri with her eyes front stood as though she were at attention, with her heels together and her petite frame rigid, though her arms were casually crossed under her chest. Patiently waiting for Soifon to give her the word to execute the traitor she has been assigned to kill.
Ikkaku went up the hill. The news was widespread. Everyone knew about it. You could hear the chatter in the streets as you walked through them. Ikkaku made his way to the top and found Kenpachi. He made his way toward Kenpachi. Ikkaku new protection and loyalty were not why he joined the 13 Gotei corp gaurds. Kenpachi came for the figthing. Ikkaku could see the nervous and upset face he had. No way in hell could Ikkaku see Yachiru doing this. She wasn't the type to slaughter those who were defenseless. Ikkaku had heard Kenpachi had told her to stay away. Ikkaku as the next highest ranking officer decided to accompany his captain. He would not have trouble doing this task, but a better alternate for him would be to have a duel/fight to the death. At least then it would be fun and not slaughter. Ikkaku's mind drifted away from the topic.
"Hey Captain," Ikkaku said with a slight waving gesture. It wasn't wierd for VC's to follow their captain around to events such as these. Since Yachiru was not there and Yumichika was busy with Yachiru, Ikkaku decided he would come. He looked around to see a full security barracade. The executioners would be stupid to run away with people like Hitsuguya around. Ikkaku looked around and found Hitsuguya with another white haired kid, most likely of the same division. He seemed busy so Ikkaku did not bother, to bother them. Ikkaku got as close as he could to Kenpachi. He straightened his posture and waited for the events to come.
Aoide walked quietly up the hill, most of the Shinigami ran past her. She was silent as she walked, a few Shinigami shoved past her as they ran. Her lips were a thing sharp line as she crossed over the bridge. Normally an event like this she stayed away from, usually drinking sake alone in her room, ignoring the jeers from her Zanpaktou to join the bloodshed, and betting if she asked they'd let her do it herself. No, she wouldn't allow herself to cut down someone without a weapon, perhaps a weakness or perhaps a strength, she never questioned her actions to find out. She came to the end of the bridge and looked up, spotting her Captain she walked over to him. When was the last time she had just walked anywhere. She had always taken pride in being a fast Shinigami, wanting to prove it constantly, but today her heart was not into it.
Was it right to kill those who followed their masters orders and let the master live? These men seemed like nothing, small sparks in a sea of vast Spiritual Energy. But still they were to die because they made the mistake to follow the wrong person. Were they all that bad? Did they not also have friends, mothers, fathers brother, sisters, wives, and children. But this was the way of the Soul Society, where making the wrong choices would lead to death and its laws were life. Aoide squeezed her hands open and shut as she came up to her Captain.
"Captain," she spoke, oddly enough for a few seconds she put her hand on Captain Hitsugaya's shoulder, almost needing that contact to reasure why she was there. She was with Squad Ten, they were her family, and she would follow orders from her Captain, "I am here, what do you wish me to do?"
The soft swishing sound of shunpo announced the arrival of another Shinigami coming to attend the execution. Karel Kensai, captain of the 13th division appeared next to the rest of the Captain's suddenly, in an abrupt manor. The man's golden eyes coldy scanned the scene of the execution, carefully looking over each prisoner along with Tommyco. Karel had no grudge against any of these men, nor did he really even know any of them. Yet he was probably more excited about being her than any other shinigami. What most people would incorrectly assume about Kenpachi, would often prove true for Karel. While he did prefer to fight an armed opponent, Karel was almost just as happy killing a defenseless one. Just to draw blood, thats all he wanted. Karel was a man who was no different than the sword he wielded, his only purpose was to fight and kill. Despite this single minded insanity, he was a very intelligent person, and in his silence, he took every detail of the scene around him into account, despite the fact that it was unlikely for any actual fighting to take place.
Karel's reietsu rose along with his blood lust. On the outside, he seemed cold, uncaring, but calm. However, on the inside, he was impatient, he was anxious, he wished to draw their blood, to make it spill all over the ground, to make it fall from the sky........
Karel stood by Unohana, his expression still seemed calm despite his growing excitement, there wasn't any doubt that the other Captains were perceptive enough to pick up on this. Karel waited silently beside the Captain-Commander, waiting for her word to execute the prisoners.

Tommyco Chizu was being taken to the top of the hill to see the men who was going to be killed for treason. There was 2 men from the 2nd division taking him up to the hill and one of the men said," Are you ready to see your friends be killed for your treason?"
Tommyco looked at the man, " 1 they are not my friends. 2 I did not tell them to help me they did that of there own free will. 3 They are going to die not me, not today, and 4 I will not even see them die."
The man then said " They where fools to fallow you Chizu." Tommyco was then taken to the top of the hill and took a seat. He could see his captain looking over at him like she was looking for him to try and help them. One of the men who came up with Tommyco walked over to SoiFon and told her everything he said.Tommyco then looked at the men who helped him and closed his eyes.

Daigoro looked up at the hill, and then he shook his head. He had no reason to watch these men die, he wasn't going to anyway. He had more on his mind than this execution. Tommyco was just an idiot. The blind follow the blind... I see that the saying is indeed, true. Daigoro turned his back on the hill and walked away. If they need me, I will be there...
