Kaito walked through the roughest vilest parts of Rukongai his shinigami robes abandoned for a red coat with a brown shirt jeans and his zanpakuto strapped to his side, his short silver hair rustled as the wind flared up slightly. Making hid way through the town he moves without ever taking a wrong step as if the path had been burned into his mind. Reaching the very outskirts of town he stops in front of a broken down three story building, rats ran in and out and spiderwebs clogged the windows. Slowly he opens the gate a soft creaking sound echoing through the silence, he walks to the center of the path looking around, and then down at his hands. There had been twenty of them living in this building back them, few of them liked each other but they were young, alone and angry, simply sticking together to survive. Except for Haji, he was a friend a true friend, a friend he let die. Kaito walks forward his hand resting on the hilt of his blade. "It wasn't your fault... Burn this place burn it to the ground" Kaito stood reminded by his spirit how he had dreamt about destroying this hell hole when he was young getting out and never returning. He got out most didn't.

Tommyco is seen not wearing his shinigami robes at the time.He has on a brown robes and he is playing with a group of kids in the area.Young kids like like they are from the ages 8 to 13.Tommyco is playing with a young boy and girl running around with them on his back.
The kids said to Tommyco{what are we going to play now big bro}Tommyco smiles and said to the kids I have this.He gave the kids a kick ball.He then looked over at Kaito and ran over to him.Tommyco said to him do I know you guy whats your name.He then looked over at the kids and one kid kicked the ball and it hit a man in the head.The man said{hay kid you will pay for that}6 other men stand in back of the guy as he takes out a sword.Tommyco then shunpoed back over to the kids. hay punks get away form the kids or else.Tommyco did not have his sword with him.So he was the only thing keeping the men away from the kids.Tommyco then yelled hay you would you like to help.He said to Kaito and got into his fighting stance.

Kaito turns walking slowly towards the men, his eyes seem to burn with fire. Reaching the men he begins to speak, his voice calm but firm "Gentlemen, My name is Kaito Orez I am a Vice-Captain of the Gotei. I will give you this one warning sheathe your sword go home and count your self lucky I am in a forgiving mood. Take another step towards the children and I shall burn the very flesh off your bones." Kaito then places hand on his sword. One of the men steps forward wearing a white shirt and black slacks, he is roughly Kaito's height and build. Pushing Kaito back a little he says "Your not so tough I bet your still an academy punk.". Kaito's hand flashes out gripping the man by his neck he raises him into the air. Kaito's spirit flashes into his mind "Hold Kaito, your anger has nothing to do with this man let him go". Kaito holds the man up his eyes flashing with anger and then becoming calm, he then dropped the man speaking in a sad and melancholy but contained voice "Go home".

Tommyco sees how Kaito took care of the one man to take care of the kids.Tommyco smiles and says I am Tommyco chizu of 2nd division.I am 3rd seat of 2nd division so go away or else.Two men run over at Tommyco with there swords in the air .Tommyco jumps into the air and flips over them.The men look back and tommyco spin kicks one man into the other.Tommyco then said go away.Then the boss a big fat man with a pink robe and a big hammer close to as big as him on his back.{the boss man said don't talk to my guys like that.Now you punks and you brats are died,get them boys!!}The group of men then starts running at Tommyco,Kaito and the kids.Tommyco gets in a fighting stance lets go then.Tommyco said with a smile on his face, kids i think you should run. The kids ran away.

Kaito shunpos among the men backhanding four of them at the 7th vertebrae knocking them out cold, and appearing in front of the fat man with a hammer. Pulling out his Zanapkuto and slamming the hilt of his blade into the mans gut, then spinning with a round house kick to the mans face. "Kaito enough, You are a soldier of the Gotei act with some respect. Haji is dead and there is nothing anyone could have done about it. Now contain yourself before you kill someone.". Kaito glares angrily at the man torn between guilt and rage he flexes his hands around the blade his anger screaming for him to kill the man while his guilt burned at the idea of having to feel responsible for another death.

Tommyco sees the men coming and he shunpos over to the guys and start knocking them out cold with fast elbows,kicks,knees,and punches.He took out the last 8 guys when he sees kaito get to the boss he could see how anger he was.when he let the boss go Tommyco smiled at kaito.Tommyco then said you did the right thing. But the boss got his hammer and yelled {i am going to kill you} he was bringing his hammer down on kaito. When Tommyco yelled get out of the way.Tommyco shunpoed and blocked the hammer from hiting kaito.Tommyco was hit in the left part of his back and said and then upper cut the boss sending him flying into a wall.Tommyco then falls to the ground holding his left arm.

Kaito sees Tommyco take the blow for him, running over to the shinigami on the ground he kneels down looking at the arm, "Are you alright, I think this might be broken come on lets get you to the fourth division". As Kaito helps Tommyco to his feet he feels a deep sense of guilt people always seemed to get hurt trying to help him. As they stood flashes of Haji's death run through his mind the angry charge against that hollow, the second one waiting in ambush, and the feel of Haji's blood as he died in his arms.

Tommyco said its ok Kaito.I just need to put ice on it,Tommyco smiles as he sees the guilt in Kaito's eyes.It is ok I have a small home out in this part of town lets go over there.Tommyco shows the way to his house.Tommyco looks at Kaito and asked what are you thinking about Kaito?What ever it is don't let it eat away at you like this.Tommyco put his left hand on Kaito's right sholder.Its ok see or is it not about me.Tommyco sits by his door and said the boss man with the hammer.Him and his gang killed a member of my family.I did not even think about killing them.That is just not who I am.My mom and dad was also killed by a hollow but I killed that hollow a long time ago.I feel bad but what happened to you.What is it family friends or did something happen to you in this place?Tommyco has tears in his eyes but trys to keep from crying.So what was it Kaito, what happened to you?

Kaito stares at Tommyco a thick silence hung in the air as he saw tears glistening on Tommyco's eyes, ".... I killed everything that ever mattered to me". Spinning around Kaito silently made his way back to the broken down house pushing the creaking gat and standing in front of the broken down building, drawing his Zanpakuto. It was dusk now the last sliver of sunlight fading on the horizon, "Rise from the ashes, Drazzel". Kaito's blade elongated into a gaun dao, spinning the weapon by it's pole the sword like blade at the end swirling with fiery winds, before they erupted around Kaito. His face could be seen in glimpses as the fire swirled around him, the wind blowing the tears from his eyes as the flames surged to the base of the building. The hungry flames lapped at the dry slightly rotting wood, the fire tore through the first floor the dry furniture and rugs scorched in the blazing inferno. Kaito simply stood not saying a word, his eye glistening with the tears he would not cry, his Zanpakuto sheathed at his side as the fire reached the second floor, Kaito didn't say a word he sat and watched the fire for hours in silence. As the last of the flames began to die he turned to see if Tommyco was near.

Did they die by your sword?Did you try to end there life.Tommyco smiled and said, if I died helping you I would not feel angry at you at all.Your a good guy and a good vice-captain.People look up to you Kaito. so how about we go to a bar.Tommyco smiles at Kaito so how about it.
