"Thanks I will try that." she said and held her zanpakutoh in her hand. She focused her eyes closed. This time she was focusing more on her zanpakutoh spirit then anything else. Her eyes opened slightly revealing a faint glow. Her zanpakutoh spirit spoke but a short phrease
You are getting closer The glow faded and she looked back at Yukino. She smiled gratefully.
"Thank you. I managed to speak to Ekishou for the first time by my choice." she said with a slight happy tone to her voice. "With a bit more practise I might unlock some new skills."

''The more you get to know your zampakutou, the greater the power it posses.'' Yukino said, in her same emotionless tone. Deep done inside she was happy for being able to help a lower ranking member of soul society but her exterior failed to show anything, once again.
[blah, crappy post, Yukino isnt good with conversations. Preharps a spar would make things more fun?]

"I have an idea." she said suddenly. "Perhaps we could test to see if I have become any stronger recently." She looked at Yukino. She rose to her feet and stepped out of the hot spring and picked up her zanpakutoh. "Thats if you don't mind sparring with me."

Yukino yawned, she honestly didnt feel like sparring. Thats why she came to the hot springs after all. However, she was a Vice Captain, and her duties were to help people lower ranking than her. How knows, this spar could make Seki 10 times stronger. '' Fine. '' Yukino told her and then flash stepped into the dressing room. She put her shinigami outfit and came back to the water. Yukino grabbed her zanpakutou and waited for Seki to get ready.

She smiled at her new, for want of a better word, friend and then flash stepped int othe changing room and returned in her robes with her zanpakutoh at the left of her hip. She looked at her opponent for this sparring match. As a vice-captain she probabaly severely outclassed her, but it would still be fun nevertheless. She assumed a standard defensive fighting stance. This would enable her to use hakuda or if necessary draw her blade quick enough to block a blow. "Lets begin."

Yukino wasn't the one to start a battle, nit she didnt really mind. Her zanpakutou was placed in a firm grip on her left hand. This was the enviroment to her, there was lots of water and mist so if she needed to go into shikai she definatly wouldnt have run out of moves anytime soon. Yukino lifted her fingers and with a whisper she casted a bakudo. '' Bakudo 63. Six rods prison light. '' She whispered as six thick bars of light flew towards Seki.
There was no way to get out of that bakudo, thats why it was one of the great bakudo yet to be known. Yukino flash stepped onto one of the rods, now standing on top of it she pointed her zanpakutou to her neck. Obviously she wasnt going to kill her, but Yukino want to know if she could out of it.

There was no way she could avoid the beams by movement and there was no reason to dodge the blow other then avoid pain.. She began chanting under her breath. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claw." As the blade came close she grabbed it with her hand holding her opponent there. The pain was excruciating, but a blow from this close range would do damage. With her free hand she launched the spell. "Destructive art 33: Sokatsui." A large blue fireball shot at her opponent who was unable to dodge due to being held in place by the blade. The shock should release the spell binding her. Her hands had been in place ready to perom this so the paralysation of the bidning would not have stopped this combination attack.

The blue wave of spiritual energy fired at Yukino. She backflipped to the ground, avioding the blast. Impressive, from an unseated officer she must admit. However, Yukino was good at kido, and knew that she was going to preform it from the minute she started stating the incaction. Yukino jumped onto the -now- cold water. Using her spiritual energy Yukino was able to stand on the water, just like she was able to stand on air using Hoko.
The blast of spiritual energy hit the rocks, higher above Yukino and Seki causing them to tumble to the ground. Yukino jumped on one of the rocks as she began to speak. '' Shimiru, Setsugekka. '' Yukino said, jingling the bells on her zanpakutou as a cold breeze along with clouds started to appear in the now cold springs. From the clods snoflakes started to fall. From that flashy introduction, only a fool wouldnt be able to tell that Yukino zanpakutou wasnt an ice|snow one. Aside from the flashy introduction, nothing much changed from her original zanpakutou, the color of the grip changed into a light blue and the strings that were attached to the grip and bells along with the two identacle ribbons changed into a light lavender color.
Beileve it or not, fighting in shikai was the only way Yukino would be able to win the battle without critacally injuring Seki. With a flash step Yukino appeared infront of seki. Using both hands of her zanpakutou she attempted to slash Seki's shoulder. If it did hit, then the cut wouldn't be deep, but within fifteen minutes the area around it will start to freeze untill her entire body freezes.Of course Yukino wouldn't let that happen, because by the time it did she'd be dead.

She was slightly irked that the attack had missed, but was more surprised at the sudden use of shikai. She was freed of the bakudo thankfully and managed to shunpo out of the way of the rocks and with graceful movement managed to dodge the blade strike. She launched a kick at her opponents hands attempting to disarm her. It was a useful technique when used correctly. This was followed up by her leaping back and drawing her blade.
"Turn their hearts to ice, Ekishou." She whispered and her blade barely changed, there was a surge of spirtual energy and the air dropped in temperature slightly more. The blade had only changed in colour and two other aspects. The blade was now pale blue instead of silver and a clear crystal was embedded near the tip. The crossguard had changed from a diamond to a an eight pointed star whose tips curved to point at the blades tip. The hilt was now silver. She smiled in a friendly manner decided not to use the abilities yet. She stepped forward a step and then shunpoed forwards striking diagonally with the blade.

''If you dont use your shikai abalities your surely lose the battle. '' Yukino said, trying to coach her. Yukino jumped into the air, and then flash stepped above her. '' Nadare No Ikkatsu.'' She said in a calm manner as ice and spiritual energy gatheredd on her zanpakutou. Yukino swiped her zanpakutou and the ice and spiritual energy ecaped from her zanpakutou and fired at Seki at almost flash step-like speeds.
When Yukinowas finnished with her attack she gracefully landed on the ground behind Seki. The water was frozen by now, the shinigami who had plans on coming probably werent going to bee too hapy about this.
