After gaining her freedom her first priority was to find a change in clothes. Rurou finds herself running through the unkempt parts of Karakura town grabbing anything she can find from the clothes lines. After she has her arms full of garments she finds somewhere secluded to change.
As Rurou looks herself over in the bathroom mirror she notices a woman giving her a odd glance as she enters the bathroom. "something i can help you with." she says showing off her best smile. The woman simple diverts her eyes and rushes into a stall. "now if i was to kick in the door and tech her some manners i would be a bad person." Rurou mumbles to herself before leaving the bathroom and turning off the light. "you are bent on drawing more attention to yourself you young one." the gruff voice of her Zonpakto echos in her mind. "i doubt that lady really wants any problems tonight." Rurou responds as she quickens her pace leaping to a nearby rooftop.
Rurou gets no reply from her Zonpakto as she pushes her hands deep into her pockets looking up at the night sky. "why cant i remember everything from that night." Rurou thinks aloud as she tries to recall the events of the night with the poachers. Rurou sighs heavily as she kicks a pebble from the rooftop and leaps into the air making her way toward a nearby park to collect her thoughts. "they really need more trees around here." She says as she leaps through the night air.
"i think we have some company." Rurou hears her zonpakto say right as she feels the presence of a hollow nearby. Rurou quickens her pace pulling her hands out of her pockets she heads for the hollow she felt. As she lands lightly on the ground in an alley between a laundry Matt and a arcade she stares intently at the back of the hollow in front of her as it feast on the last morsels of the soul it has consumed. "i hope your last meal was a good one." she says with a smile as the hollow turns striking blindly in her direction. Aid me in my hunt Hayai Ryoushi, Rurou says as she ducks out of the way of the hollows wild swing.In the blink of an eye one sword bocomes two. Rurou feels the quick rush she gets when activating her shikai. Rurou reaches to her face about to dawn her mask when a loud angry voice yells in her mind. "are you completely retarded why show all your cards when you could simple defeat this creature now." Rurou's Zonpakto chimes in. Rurou responds "its all or nothing with me you should know that by now."....."must you always tempt the beast inside yourself...or are you trying to lose yourself to the creature in you." Hayai Ryoushi Rurou's Zonpakto simply states
Rurou screams to Hayai "I am starting to think you just want me all to yourself old man." he always seems to chime in and say the perfect thing to piss her off. "Reckless charge" Rurou says throwing the sword in her left hand it spins like a top as it hurtles twoard the hollow. The moment the blade is no longer in contact with Rurou she uses her Shunpo to position herself behind the hollow. Rurou charges the hollows back her first blade still spinning closer to the hollow Rurou swings her blade aiming to cut the hollow in half, she times it so that both blades impact the target at the same time. The hollow tries to evade the thrown blade by jumping backwards only to feel cold steel slice through its midsection. The hollow tries to let out a scream but before the air in the hollows lungs has collected for its death wail. Rurou already caught her thrown blade and is halfway threw the hollows mask cutting it at its mouth. Leaving only some mist and a sick gurgling noise as the hollow fades.
"you must learn something else this simple technique will fail you verses stronger foes." Hayai says in as soft a voice he can muster which still sounds like hes dieing angrily. "when it fails i will make it work." Rurou says as she lifts her head looking into the night sky sealing Hayai in his scabbard once more. "or you could simply listen to me when i try and teach you things." Hayai says not trying to hide his growing anger any longer. Rurou pays him no mind and as she stares up at the sky trying to remember how she ended up with these abilities. "you do relizes i never asked for any of this." Rurou mumbles to Hayai. "Child you did ask for this...when you struggled so hard against death....do not deny your fate now." Hayai says his voice as sickening to hear as always. A shiver runs down Rurous back as she wonders what are these hollows Hayai keeps finding for her to kill...and why must she kill them. Rurou sighs heavily as she begins walking out of the alley her eyes pointed at the sky her hands dug deep into her pockets.

As Rurou stares into the sky, atop the building to her left she notices a figure standing, watching her. The figure has black spiked hair, a yellow tunic, and black clothing under said tunic. This man was Ryu Mizumagi, a member of the 10th Division. He smiles as she looks up at him, impressed with how she handled the hollow.

"Not bad" he says to her. "Come up here, I'd like to speak with you" Ryu says, turning and walking away from the ledge of the building.

Rurous eyes dart to the man speaking to her. Her mind races asking all kinds of questions as a familiar feeling in the pit of her stomach begins to rise. Rurou watches the man walk away from the ledge as she goes to leap onto the rooftop. Rurou lands softly on the ledge of the roof taking her hands out of her pockets. She walks wearing a dark blue tank top a white miniskirt with blue biker shorts knee high purple socks and some old sketchers. Rurou looks the man over carefully as she walks tworad him cautiously, "Hayai any advice here would be nice." Rurou mumbles trying not to seem like a crazy person talking to herself. "Oh so now you want my council..." is all Hayai replies.
Rurou reaches her hand to this man on the roof as she nears him. "my name is Rurou Kiha..." Rurous legs lock up as she stops instantly as if her feet were glued to the roof. " KILL HIM KILL THAT MAN!!" Rurous inner hollow Shoukou yells in Rurous mind. "Not now go away i don not need this now." Rurou mumbles as she shakes her head and wipes a few beads of sweat from her forehead. "i don not think this is a...good time for us to talk" Rurou says her palms starting to sweat as well. Rurou tells her body to turn and walk away but her legs still wont move. "this is not good." she says sweating more and more as she struggles in her mind to silence Shoukou. "Hayai i need you to shut her up i can not think straight." Rurou says to Hayai not mumbling anymore as she has given up trying to hide the fact that she hears voices anymore. "Shoukou is your cross to bear not mine....besides i have helped you all i can the rest is up to you child." her swords spirit replies. "bull!!" Rurou thinks to herself before closing her eyes to help gain composure she focuses until all she can here are the cicadas in the night.
Rurou opens her eyes taking a deep breath relived she was able to contain the hollow inside her, this time. she takes a step forward her knees feeling weak from the effort of controlling her inner hollow. She walks up to the man in front of her holding her hand out for a handshake with a small smile on her face. "i am Rurou...and i am not crazy." She says holding her hand out looking into the eyes of the man in front of her. Rurou wonders who he is, where he came from and hope's he has more answers than the voices in her head.

As the woman walks toward him he makes a mental note, she definitely looks cute. She stops a moment, and seems to be in deep thought, sweat forming on her brow and her body shaking slightly. Ryu's face becomes that of concern.

"What do you think is wrong with her" Ryu asks Kaminari, the spirit of his Zanpakuto.

"I think she's having a conversation, like us.... but her conversation seems a little... forceful" The spirit replies.

Ryu steps forward, about to ask if she is okay when the woman shakes her head and smiles, walking to him. she extends her hand to him and introduces herself, along with that little line. Ryu chuckles at it.

"It's nice to meet you Rurou. My name is Ryu Mizumagi" he says shaking her hand. "I saw your little... episode, are you okay?" He says, concern obvious on his voice. After her response he would then ask her "What division are you a member of? I don't remember Captain Hitsugaya telling me about another Soul Reaper responsible for this section of the city."

After shaking Ryu's hand Rurou digs her hands back into her pockets her emerald eyes looking back up at the sky. "yeah i am fine i just got a few issues i have to work out." Rurou says sighing heavily. Rurou turns her gaze to meet Ryu as she wonders to herself if she should fill him in on her issues. Rurou shakes her head as she gets a slightly confused look on her face. Rurou rubs the top of her head as she listens to Ryu's next question. Divisions....Hitsugaya...Soul Reaper...? "uh i don't know who or what you think i am...but i have no idea what your talking about....although i have heard the phrase Soul Reaper before." Rurou says. Rurou taps her left foot against the ground nervously "Hayai should i trust this man he seems to know more about whats going on then i do." Rurou says keeping her emerald gaze locked on Ryu. "you trust who you want merely keep your guard up child you and him are the same and different....that is all i have to say." Rurous Zanpakuto replies. "some help you are." mumbles to Hayai, Rurou brushes her silver bangs out of her face "but if you have any information about all this i would gladly listen." Rurou says as she takes her hands out of her pockets and sits down on the rooftop holding her knees close to her chest watching the man in front of her closely

Ryu gives his a questioning look at his sits down, lotus position. He scratches his head and observes the woman for a moment. "so you tell me you are not a Soul Reaper? Then how did you come into ownership with that Zanpakuto?" Ryu asks the silver haired woman. This didn't make sense, only Soul Reapers, Vizards and Arrancar are able to wield Zanpakutos.

"Tell me, do the words Vizard or Arrancar mean anything to you?" Ryu asks the woman. "Have you ever heard of the Soul Society or Hueco Mundo?" He asks again. He then looks to her Zanpakuto. "Is that just a sword? or do you know the spirit that resides within it?" He knows he is asking a lot of questions, but Ryu was curious about this woman. This didn't make sense. How could she have all the powers of a soul reaper without being any of the three beings he had said. Was she really a human who managed to acquire a Zanpakuto? He needed to report this to Captain Hitsugaya... he needs to know.

Rurou shakes her head as she listens to the man ask her these questions. "i have no idea what your talking about but i do know a little about my Zanpakuto." Rurou says feeling a relieved that there are others who can help her learn more about herself. "Look all i really know is i have things in my head that give me abilities, and my Zanpakuto Hayai is trying to teach me a few things he says i am not ready for most of it, yet but he has started me hunting hollows i think they are called" Rurou pauses as she debates on if she should tell Ryu about Shoukou "that would be a most unwise choice the Soul Reapers would hunt you down till your dieing breath if they knew about me....and he IS a Soul Reaper." Shoukou says spitefully. "do not trust this creatures words they are filled with lies child." Says Hayai. "i would rather be safe then dead i am not going to attack him....i will defend myself if i have to." Rurou's face turns cold as her smile fades looking deep into Ryu's eyes. Rurou watches the Ryu carefully as she puts her hand on the hilt of her blade drawing it slowly "this is Hayai..." Rurou says unsheathing the solid silver blade making sure to keep her hand tightly around the hilt and trying to be as non treating as possible while drawing a blade. "and yes we do speak but he doesn't tell me much tho. Rurou watches him closely hoping that she doesn't have to use it. "Before we go on i have to ask you...are you a Soul Reaper?"

Ryu watches as she draws her blade. She didn't plan to attack him did she? He had done nothing to her, rather, she had been secretly helping him eliminate Hollows in his area. As he listened to her and watched her face change Ryu knows what he must do. Standing he nods and says "Yes, I am a Soul Reaper. I was given orders from Soul Society, the place spirits go to when they die, to protect this area from Hollows. Hollows feast upon the souls of the living, and put the balance of life and death out of order. It is our job to protect this world from these creatures. Honestly though, I dislike fighting and wish the hollows would just leave in peace" Ryu says placing his hand on his blade. Drawing his sword he shows Rurou it. "This is my Zanpakuto. His name is Kaminari and he's... well... unique to say the least" Ryu says chuckling.

"Tell me, has the Spirit of your Zanpakuto tried to help you access your Shikai yet?" Ryu asks the woman. After a moment of thinking he says "In fact, where did you get your Zanpakuto if you are not a Soul Reaper?" He questions.

Rurou listens and watches the man soaking in his words. "you mean your one of the good guys..." Rurou mumbles aloud Rurou gets a suprised look as she thinks about his words and what she should say. "i am not sure what a shikai is like i said i just kinda woke up like this one day Hayai and Shoukou.....were kinda in my head" Rurou pauses cause her Inner hollow curses her in her head. "i do not know what i am in the least, i just know what Hayai has taught me."

Rurou stands up sheathing her blade. "but for some reason Shoukou wants me to kill you...and shes really loud. I have no clue about anything other than hollows are bad and from what i can gather i either am a hollow or i have one inside myself." Rurou stands looking at Ryu a simple smile spreads across her face ass he looks up into the sky. Rurou traces a finger down the long scar that stretches from her right shoulder to her left hip.

Rurou shakes her head trying to get the voice of her inner hollow out of her mind when her Zonpakuto begins to argue as well. Rurou holds her hands to her ears wincing slightly. the screams in her head getting louder and louder. Rurou stumbles backward catching her footing at the edge of the roof. "BOTH OF YOU SHUT THE HELL UP!!" Rurou screams before slowly moving her hands from her ears. Rurou looks up to Ryu her face looking tired and ragged. "sometimes it harder to make them be quiet than others." Rurou says forcing a smile.

Ryu watches as Rurou argues with the two. She has two inside of her? Zanpakuto spirit and a Hollow? It meant either two things, she was either a Vizard or a Arrancar. But Ryu did not so any fragments of a Hollow mask. Thats means she was a Vizard. Thinking a moment Ryu walks to her and places a hand on her shoulder.

"I know how you feel, sometimes Kaminari can be a little difficult to shut up" He says smiling.

"I heard that" Kaminari states.

"Look, I might know someone who can help you out. But first I want to know whatever you can tell me about yourself." Ryu says. He knows repeating the question might not work too well, but if he can get more info out of her, things might go smoother later.
