With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Jube held his sword in front of him as his blade extended again and rushed to wards Emiliano. The Arrancar blocked and used his zanpaktou to re-direct the path of, the attack. But as he did the blade turned and returned to stab into the Arrancar's back. Emiliano was unaware and was focusing on hitting Jube with his sword as he charged to wards him. He failed to notice Jube wasn't trying to block of avoid until the last minute, then Jube's sword hit the Arrancar piercing him but not all the way his Hierro had slowed down the diamond blade. Jube's eyes widened as he saw his blade had barely done any damage, Emiliano grinned "hahaha! your going to have to try harder then that!" he said swinging down with his zanpaktou swiftly, Jube's eyes went blank for a minute as Emiliano's sword cut a gash open starting from Jube's shoulder and ending right above his abdomen. The blood spilled all over, Emiliano soaked his zanpaktou and got on Jube's clothing.
But Jube had Emiliano where he wanted him, at close range he aimed his hand at him and Emiliano was just recovering from delivering his attack. His chances of evading this attack were slim, "Hadou 54:Haien" the incantation allowed Jube to fire a blast of purple reiatsu at Emiliano point blank range. There was an explosion of reiatsu that pushed Jube back, he covered his face using his arm from the cloud of smoke. He watched quietly waiting to see what would happen, whether his attack hand landed or not. Blood dripped from Jube's open wound, but he had to move forward and fight on.
Grantz
Grantz was laughing as he looked over his shoulder to see the shinigami captain being shocked by his high voltage attack. But then to his surprise the captain ignored the pain and used a surprise attack a wave of energy at point blank range. Grantz eyes widened as he was engulfed by the energy and sent flying, "GU AH!!!" yell was all Grantz could do as he crashed into the nearby building. Grantz lay there with his eyes closed as he struggled to sit up, but before he did he felt a tug on his chains, quickly he placed his hand on the chains and they dispersed separating. Breaking the connection between him and the shinigami. Grantz back flipped as he landed on head of a gargoyle almost dropping the statue over from the impact, he grinned as he looked up at the captain licking his lips. "This should be fun!, Leventa! Gigante!" Grantz called out as he laughed maniacally, and his chains and shackles all vanished turning to dust, Grantz body began to change as he grew more and his muscles bulked. His body was covered in plates of bone white armor, and his face covered by his hollow mask he had released his ressurecion.
When the transformation was over, Grantz stood at a towering seven feet, his body looked like a tank covered in that armor, he had a warthog like head, but with an extra horn in the middle of his head. He let out a deep chuckle "What do you think shinigami?" he asked the captain as he raised his arms showing his well protected body.
It cannot be denied the 2nd Division Captain, Soifon, has spies and agents seemingly everywhere, and those of their number do nothing to dispel this perception whether or not it is true. The Onmitsukido members who are basically a kind of CovertOps special forces branch in a sense these days being viewed as part of the 2nd Division yet separate from it, since Yoruichi's reign as its Commander and Captain of 2nd Division; and with Soifon at the helm - this still remains. Though, Sayuri currently is acting more out of her capacity as a member of 2nd Division proper than as a member of the Onmitsukido's Executive Militia branch as what she has been apart of for a few decades now, longer than she has been a member of the 2nd Division proper.
There had been a strange movement in the city she had noticed during her patrol assignment she picked up from the 2nd Division barracks not long after her full recovery from her severe fatigue she had suffered a few days prier. There was no doubting it as she traced and followed the reiastu - it was thick and dark, definitely Hollows, but another was powerful - extremely powerful - in one sense also somewhat like a Shinigami's converged with a Hollow's, she recognized it as being an Arrancar's reiastu. This she could not ignore in the least. Following the reiastu levels, even stalking them in a way from the shadows from a far distance, she felt the reiastu of a pair Shinigami amongst them as well. It was a simple matter to deduce from the fluctuating reiastu levels - they were battling each other.
With her blinding swift speed she neared the scene and watched it unfold, like a proper assassin she awaited for the best time to strike. Though, she also saw a young boy struggling against three Hollows, fighting them only with a bat. Both of the Shinigami are seated members, one even a Captain, she sighed and assumed the Captain and the other seated member could handle the Arrancar whatever else is with it. As a member of Gotei 13, she was obligated to save the human boy - otherwise she believed the boy will likely be killed and feed upon by the Hollows.
From the surrounding shadows her voice could be heard uttering, "Bakudo No. 63 - Sajo Sabaku", a golden chain of light snaking through the air lassoed itself around the Hollow the boy had just struck upside the head with his bat. The Hollow roaring as its arms were pinned to its sides by the golden chain of light wrapped around it numerous times completely restraining the creature from movement. A Kidou spell, a strong one, she did not even need an incantation for it - definitely the mark of a Kidou Master.
Just as one of the restrained Hollow's allies came bounding for the boy, a young girl who looked as though she were still a high school student and who is a skinny, short little thing, had to be less than even five foot tall; she appeared on top of the charging Hollow, her feet clamped onto its head like a vice. Abruptly she spun around 180 degrees taking the Hollow's head in that same direction so it now faced in the wrong direction. Loud snap, crackle, pop sounds could be heard from the Hollows neck the second she did. A second later she stomped on its head using it as head as a platform to do a backflip off of as it fell to its knees and flopped dead to the ground. As its corpse faded from existence, the girl landed willowy in a sort of frog like squat, she looked to the remaining Hollow while the other was still bound by her Kidou spell. She caught the one she just killed by surprise, the other two may not be so easy.
Karel gazed upon and analyzed his opponent's new form. Judging by his appearance, his defenses seemed to be very formidable. This may prove a bit more of a challenge than he expected. Karel was torn away from his thoughts as the Arrancar spoke to him. He remained quiet for a moment before answering the question. "I think that this will be a wondeful feast!" Karel said excitedly, his eyes possesing a look of pure insanity and blood lust. In an instant, Karel vanished from sight once again. He began moving rapidly in different directions around his opponent in order to ensure that he could not be easily seen or hit. Karel then began to move in and rapidly strike the massive arrancar with his blade in hit and run movements. Each attack hit a different area and was from a different angle. The legs, arms, torso, back, head, Karel sliced at them all. The attack was so fast that every slash seemed to occur simultaneously. Karel finished his barrage of striked with a powerful energy blast to Grantz's mask. He then landed in front of the arrancar, waiting to see if any of his attacks hit a weak spot of some sort.
The cloud of smoke cleared and there it revealed Emiliano with his forearm shielding his face. Smoke rose from his body as he waved his arm pushing away the rest of the smoke with a gust of wind, his face was serious but soon that familiar and creepy grin crept onto his face. "Not bad shinigami, perhaps I underestimated you. But rest assure it wont happen again" Emiliano let out a short yet psychotic chuckle. Using sonido he vanished, with that loud booming sound behind Jube he knew were Emiliano was, but was he fast enough to block. Jube spun around attempting to block, but in an instant Emiliano spun three times rapidly slashing at Jube's back, more blood spilled from the shinigami's body as he stumbled forward. He turned slowly grunting in pain, Emiliano raised an eyebrow "Whats this? you should be cut in half..." he said a bit confused as Jube's blood dripped from the tip of his zanpaktou's blade.
Jube, looked up with a cold stare "Using, my zanpaktou's scabbard I was able to lessen the force of your attack...." he explained as he dashed at Emiliano swinging his sword. When did he fired off the top part of his sword, the sharp projectile flew at Emiliano. The Arrancar easily blocked it deflecting it with his zanpaktou but when he looked up Jube was raising his sword for another attack, the spike was just a distraction. Already having used regeneration Jube's blade was covered in spikes "Annihilation:Kongouseki-Danmaku" Jube swung his sword as he finished this phrase, releasing a barrage of spikes that shot out to wards Emiliano. Thinking quickly, Emiliano flew back using his sword to deflect the spikes by swinging his sword as fast as he possibly could, but it was inevitable some spikes got through, and scratched the Arrancar's skin. One even pierced deeper into his skin then Jube's previous attack.
When the barrage ended, Emiliano looked at the diamond spike stuck in his shoulder. He gripped it and pulled it out staring at the bloodied tip, he tossed it aside. Then exploded with a burst of reiatsu as he looked up at Jube. "Enough games shinigami" Emiliano smirked as he used sonido again. Jube waited as he made his sword expand itself around him creating a defensive swirling sphere with spikes on the outside that would shred anything foolish enough to touch it.
Grantz
Gantz looked up as the shinigami vanished, it was true Grantz sacrificed speed using his ressurecion. But his defense made up for it as the shinigami would soon find out. Grantz felt the shinigami poking at him with his zanpaktou, he curled up into a ball and waited for the shinigami's onslaught to be over. Then when Karel fired his blast, Grantz jumped up over the blast and opened his mouth as he fired a bala, it was not as strong as a cero but it was much faster. The attack would surely have caught Karel by surprise and surely it would hit its mark.
The bala had caught Karel by surprise, and the impact sent him flying through the building he was standing on and hurling out the side of the said building at an angle, ultimately crashing into the ground. "Perfect" Karel thought to himself as he stood up and climbed out of the newly formed crater he stood in. "It would appear that I would require maximum power in order to break through these defenses" he thought excitedly to himself. He finally found a worthy opponent that would push him this far. "Bankai!" Karel yelled.
There was a sudden explosion of red energy, that tore apart everything around him. The crimson energy continued pouring outwards, heavily distorting the air around him. Concentrated sparks of red energy danced across Karel's blade and body. This was Captain Kensai's bankai of destruction.
Emiliano appeared in the distance, staring at Jube he raised an open palm and aimed it at Jube and his, diamond encasing he had created around himself. Emiliano then began to gathered reiatsu at the palm of his hand, finally firing a cero at Jube's barrier. The cero clashed with the diamond barrier, but its constant spin split the cero in half, Emiliano grinned as he fed more power to his attack. Suddenly, Jube noticed his defense began to crack, his eyes widened as he turned the hilt of his sword "Bakudo!" the cero blasted through the diamond barrier, there was a powerful explosion. Jube flew out of the smoke crashing onto the street below, his sudden impact caused a crater the humans who were on the street began to run and yell in terror and confusion.
Jube slowly rose up to his feet slowly, he dragged the blade of his zanpaktou across the ground. He looked up up grunting in pain as Emiliano gracefully landed on the ground "I told you didn't I, no more games" he said as he stepped forward, but he suddenly stopped Jube's reiatsu was rising all around him he rose his zanpaktou pointing it to wards the sky. "Bankai" Jube exploded with a burst of reiatsu, the ground began to shake violently, the Reiatsu made Jube's cloak dance wildly, his hair stood up. From the ground around him and Emiliano walls of pure diamond rose high into the sky and closing themselves, blocking out the moons light. Emiliano quietly observed everything that was happening, he was a bit impressed but not to much. The ground became covered in diamond, they were trapped inside a diamond dome. Jube's zanpaktou had reverted to it's sealed state, he stood there staring at Emiliano 'I have to hurry...' Jube thought in his mind as he dashed forward with a burst of speed to wards Emiliano using his sword to thrust it at his chest.
Grantz
Grantz looked down at the captain as he went bankai his eyes widened, but not with shock or terror but with excitement. The wild, Arrancar banged his chest as he roared "THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN!" he then charged at Karel. His entire body became engulfed in electricity again, as he raised his fist and charged it. He was ready to strike down the shinigami captain and have some fun killing him.
Karel didn't have any time to play around, he was prepared to finish this now. Karel pointed his blade at the charging arrancar and began to charge massive amounts of reietsu. "subete no shouhi hakai !" (All consuming destruction) Karel shouted. The energy stopped flowing out of his blade and seemed to vanish for a few seconds. Then, Karel's blade began to pulse with a massive amount of energy and then released it. Karel fired a huge blast of energy from the tip of his blade, it resembled a grand rey cero, and was possibly even more powerful. The gigantic blast of energy consumed the arrancar and lit the entire city with a red flash.

Matsori had started running once the girl came and started killing the hollows. He ran and ran and eventually escaped the scene. Dodging over crushed cars and debris, he made it to near the hospital before he tripped.... (This is the end of his involvement in this thread. I want him to go to another thread now.) (PS. Sorry it's so short.)
Jube's zanpaktou hit the Arrancar's skin a single drop of blood spilled to the crystallized ground below. The Arrancar had used his hand to catch the zanpaktou before it could do any serious damage. Emiliano grinned as he chuckled closing his eyes "Your blade is still far to weak to penetrate my Hierro" he said when he opened his eyes, they widened with shock "Whats this!?". Jube's body had been turned to diamond, this copy still held the zapaktou but didn't move it was just a Jube statue. While Emiliano was distracted two hands rose up from below and gripped his ankles Emiliano looked down to see the diamond spread and engulf his legs up to his knees. Emiliano then noticed a flash of blue reiatsu he lifted his head and turned to look over his shoulder it was Jube, he had one hand raised and was gathering reiatsu at the palm of his hand. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Hadou 33: Sokatsui!" he called out as the reiatsu burst out from his hand to wards Emiliano his eyes widened with shock as the attack got closer. The attack engulfed the Arrancar and the beam caused the ground to shake violently, Jube's cloak was being pushed back wildly flowing with the force of the attack, Jube stopped feeding energy to the attack. The beam faded, as the smoke cleared Jube was sure he had hit him but he wasn't sure if Emiliano was dead or not. Although, he highly doubted that he was dead.
The smoke cleared to reveal a figure hunched over, it was Emiliano he was looking over his shoulder at Jube glaring at him. His eyes full of anger, his fists tightened into fist and his zanpaktou tightly gripped. Smoke was rising from his body and it was no covered in serious burns caused by the attacks intensity so much that it had destroyed the crystal Jube clone, and even made smoke come from the zanpaktou itself. Jube was shocked that Emiliano was still standing, Emiliano then released a burst of reiatsu shattering the diamonds that held him to the ground and rush as Jube he used a vicious thrust aimed for Jube's face. But Jube sunk into the ground as if it was made of water avoiding the attack, barely. Jub rose up a good distance from Emiliano picking up his zanpaktou, then raising it to the sky, and thus two walls of diamond formed on both sides of Emiliano. Jube swung his sword down as the walls closed in to smash the Arrancar. But suddenly stopped, Jube eyes narrowed as he stared at Emiliano something was different Emiliano's eyes were glowing with a bright blue reiatsu this was the cause for stopping Jube's attack? the Arrancar grinned as he stepped forward the glow from his eyes faded and the walls crashed into each other. Emiliano stood unharmed by the attack, "Surprised? let me give you a glimpse at my true power, shinigami" Emiliano said as his eyes began to glow again...
Grantz
The massive Arrancar saw the energy beam coming his way, he began to spin, and the electricity around his body formed a drill. He charged to wards the beam, the clash on one side a bright red beam that lit up the now destroyed Northern sector of the city, on the other side a massive sphere of high voltage electricity. A power struggle, as Grantz pushed onto the captains energy beam with all his might trying to pierce it and hit the captain. Sparks of reiatsu and electricity fell out in all directions.
His defenses were incredibly strong, but Karel would defeat this arrancar in the end. His life was one of the sword, his only purpose in life was for opponent's to fall by his blade.
Karel pushed harder, trying to maintain the giant blast of energy that was currently coming from his zanpaktou. The time he could use this attack was very limited, he couldn't continue this for much longer. With one final push, Karel dashed upwards, straight torward the massive sphere of electricity that surrounded the arrancar. As Karel met the point where the two energies collided, he was immediatly greeted with unimaginable pain as the two blasts torw him apart. His Captain's haori disinegrated and his body began to burn and blister as he pushed though the electrical currents. Karel pointed his sword forward torwards the center of Grantz's body. His blade was just inches from penetrating the arrancar's body. Karel focuse all of his reietsu to the tip of his blade, in an attempt to break the arrancar's defense. If karel's sword managed to peirce the arrancar's sheild and enter it's body, then it would explode from the massive amounts of raw reietsu coursing through its body. "Let it rain blood!" Karel yelled as he pushed his body past its limits.
