Sitting around (open)

Ureshi was waiting in class, staring anxiously at the clock. She wanted that bell to ring so badly that her usual carefree smile wasn't even on her face. It didn't take to long for her teacher to get freaked out, just a little freaked out, at her staring into 'space.'

"Ureshi, stop daydreaming and pay attention," Her teacher said.

I'm not daydreaming, I'm looking at the clock. Oh well, whatever.

Ureshi nodded and turned her head and her body so she was facing her teacher, just in time for the bell to ring and a bunch of students to spring out of their seats and onto their feet, practicly flooding the halls in an instant. Ureshi's eyes widened and then a slightly embarrassed smile formed on her face as she slowly walked to the door, flexing her toes out of habit. She grabbed her bag from her locker and then started walking outside. Once she got there, she looked around. It didn't look like anyone was there and she shrugged as she sat on one of the railings, pulling a book out of her bag and beginning to read.

After a few moments, she had the sense that someone was coming, and although she had a long mental debate about whether or not she would say anything imediately, she finally decided to mark her page by folding the corner over and closing her book. She turned her head to see who was coming and her usual carefree and pleasant smile was still showing on her face.

Jericho walks up with an angry look on his face which fades when he sees the girls smiling face.

"what are you smiling about." he says.

Ureshi suddenly realized something. This wasn't a human, nor a shinigami. It was something else, something more like a hollow. What was it anyways? She didn't get it at all, but a part of her inside wanted to run, but would that matter? If she ran, wouldn't he be able to catch up? Well, either way he didn't want to chance something like that. If this guy was bad news, she might figure it out and it wouldn't be pretty. But for now, she just kept smiling and started to quote a play she had seen.

"Well, you're never fully dressed without a smile! You know the play that came from was a really popular one too. I liked it, it's got a sweet ending. Really, really good actors in the one I saw..." She started to trail off into another one of her rants, almost forgetting that the being before her could probably even kill her if he wanted.

Jericho gets a slight confused look on his face and under his kind of chuckles.

"Is that so and do you not fear me human even though i am an arrancar." he states this with a grin.

Ureshi tilted her head slightly. She had never heard of an arrancar before. Was that what they were called? Those hollows with swords? Arrancar? Ureshi's smile didn't leave her face even for a second. She didn't really know what to say about that, because the way he was acting he looked like he wanted a fight. Ureshi didn't.

"Why should I? It's not like this is some horror movie or anything... Although a lot of horror movies from the seventies are really cheesey and they're even kinda funny, it's not like that texas chainsaw masacre movie which is really all blood and guts... Why do they even make that stuff? It's just gross," Ureshi said, continuing on with another one of her rants, leaving all fear behind during those breif moments.

Confused again at here seemingly random comment he chuckles then says.

"Your an odd one aren't you well its ok I didn't come to destroy you anyway."

He waits for her response.

Ureshi just looked at him, confusion in her eyes and her smile still there, although it wasn't the same carefree and pleasant smile she usually wore. This one showed her confusion and was much weaker than the one prior to it. Reaching into her backpack and digging around for a moment she started to answer his question.

"That's pretty mean. By the way, what is an arrancar anywho?"

Ureshi wasn't sure if asking that question would bring on any negative reactions but she still smiled her slightly confused smile as she found what she was looking for in her bag: A brown paper bag with an apple she hadn't eaten at lunch. She pulled it out of the bags and took a bite, making a crunching sound as she did.

He looks at her with his red eyes and simply states. "An arrancar is a hollow who has removed there mask and aquired the powers of a shinigami."

Ureshi took another bite of her apple as he spoke. That solved one mystery. A hollow that removed their mask, of course. But what exactly were the powers of a shinigami? She didn't know what those were. She didn't know what any of it is. She was, completely oblivious to the details of this world around her, and she had only just learned about what a shinigami does. She didn't know what exactly they did. It was... Strange.

She didn't understand what exactly was going on about that. All she had ever seen were hollows with masks on, and they looked like animals, or dinosaurs, or some creature from a poorly drawn anime or something.

"So? What's the difference? Having a face? Not being a zombie? Actually, didn't hollows die once? Doesn't that make them zombies? And they eat humans, so I guess you could link the entire, 'brrraaaaaaains' bit to it," Ureshi said, holding her arms out to imitate a zombie... Poorly.

Jericho laughs at here hole zombie imitation then proceeds to anwser here question.

Arrancars can control there urge to consume human souls and are way stronger than any hollow.
