*as genji notices that shu is daydreaming he clicks his fingers to get him back into the real world*
hmmm sorry to borther you but no day dreaming please geez anys so i gotta use two right and aim for the whole target then for the other target i got it *says incantation hado 31 shakkahou *then as soon as he can* *says incantation* hado31 shakkahou
*they manage to hit both target with enough force but only take out about 3 quarters of them*
oh darn it hmm maybe i need only to attack one at a time aye shu-sama *looks disappointed* but i mustn't give up i plan to be better than you by the end of my training so i mustn't give in to failure

<<Thats not good Enought Genji, you have to learn and be able to pull off aiming two spells now. What if you are out numbered? do you think the enemy will give you the time to go one by one, taking your time? There is no way that will cut it.>>
Shu hopes this change of tactic will throw Genji off making him nervous, he wants to see how Genji perfoms under pressure. Training cannot be all easy and laid back, but there is no way it can be planned for the student.
<<Now do Hado number 1 without the incantation, at that target there, then blast it with Hado 31. Mixing Kidou is an essential part of training and improving so do it now.>>

*Genji shocked at the sudden change in shu as genji starts to wonder "hmmm he is right i want to no i need to get this right in order to show that damned old man i can win and i'm not worthy of death as genji starts to look more serious*
fine i will get more serious if you want theres no way i'm gonna lose no way alright then hado 1 at the target with his left hand then *says incantation hado 31 shakkahou with his right hitting the target clearing it* hmph how was that shu-sama i must be getting better if i'm not i don't know what i'm doing wrong

Ryu had been watching Shu and Genji train for quite some time over the past few days. He was interested in the progression of Genji's abilities in Kidou. Ryu sat safely out of the way, and hopefully, out of sight from the two practicioners on top of a small building nearby. As Genji works to master Number 31 Shakkaho Ryu yawns.
"I wonder if he'll be against a little training with me" Ryu says as he lays back "I'm getting pretty bored up here"
Ryu raises his hand and concentrates, as he looks at it, sparks of electricity travel up and down his fingers. He then points his hand to the sky "Number Four: Byakurai" He says quietly. As he finishes the statement he fires an immense bolt of lightning skyward.
Keeping his hand extended he extends his Reiatsu to control the blast, aiming it downward towards himself. As the bolt nears him he uses Shunpo to fly closer to the Lightning, then faces both his hands forward. "Number 54: Tenran". As the words escape his lips, wind busts forth from his hands, twisting to the shape of a tornado. The large blast of wind slams into the bolt of Lightning, then Ryu changes his hand's angle and pushes the Lightning in another direction and away from himself. The Bolt flies across to the horizon, until it vanishes.
Ryu floats in the air, breathing normally, not even had breaking a sweat. "Well, that was fun..." He begins to talk to himself. His eyes then open wide in realization... he isn't the only one there. "Uh oh... um.... heh heh.... maybe I didn't totally interrupt their training" he says blushing. He then looks back down at them to see if they had noticed.

Shu gave an approving gesture towards Genji, the push had worked like he'd hoped it would and now was the time to increase his level of training. However, as shu was setting up the next exercise Ryu's kidou exploded above them. Having not been expecting it Shu was at the ready looking for the perpetrator when he noticed Ryu there.
<<Hey you there, what are you doing here?>> Shu is confused, he'd thought they'd been alone but it seemed there had been a peeping tom the whole time.

Having been caught Ryu slowly lowers himself to the ground. Rubbing the back of his head he chuckles slightly. "sorry about that, I didn't mean to interrupt your training. I stopped on the top of the building behind us to meditate for a bit when I saw you two." He says as he smiles to them. The wind blows his naturally spiked hair gently. "I guess I got a little bored and wanted to train a little myself" He states, a little embarrassment on his breath.
"My name is Ryu, Mizumagi Ryu" he says before he extends his hand to Shu.

*a little annoyed at the fact of being interupted but decided the more the merrier*
hmmm well you can join if you want it doesn't matter to me i need some person person training don't you think shu-sama and and the names Genji Hanzo its a pleasure so yeah well lets do it.
*didn't shake his hand because he was still annoyed at the fact of interuption but didn't want to show it towards the new arrival and he couldn't cause he wanted to get better so then he could emprove in rank at soul society
*walks over to the side away from shu and ryu then " hado 1 then soon after *says incantation* hado 31 shakkahou as they burst into the targets at a slightly faster rate yes i getting it alot better.

Ryu pouts a bit then looks at Shu. "Sorry for interrupting, if you want a person to train with him, I can" Ryu says a little dejected. He looks to Genji and smiles slightly. "From what I have seen just today he seems to be getting used to performing Kidou at higher levels like that, did you teach him how?" Ryu asks looking at Shu from the corner of his eye. Genji performs another duel attack and Ryu smiles. "Impressive, most impressive".

Shu looks at Ryu a little confused, relaxing bored? this was a most unusual place to take a nap, Shu eyed the shinigami a little before taking his hand with a firm grip and smiling. <<Names Shu Ranpu, and yes I taught him how to do that. I used to be in the 5th division, as well as in the Hadoushuu, I was the vice-general at one time before changing squads.>> Shu looks at ryu again, from that display it is easly noticable that his kidou ability is higher than Genji's, but yet a real opponent might push Genji to the next level. Shu is slightly torn on the best course of action. Quickly coming to a decision, Shu turns to see Genji practicing and yells for him to come over. <<Alright ryu you can train with him. But dont over do it, you are better at him...at least for the moment, so Ill be the judge but keep it clean and below leathal level. You can begin whenever you wish.>> |

Smiling Ryu replies "Don't worry, I wouldn't do anything like that. Honestly, I dislike fighting, but I do enjoy training with friends. The last thing I want to do is kill a friend" He says as he stretches his arms out. Looking to Genji he asks "This is okay with you, right? I don't want to impose." Ryu states, feeling a little bad he had just interrupted their training session. Regardless, He liked these two, they seemed nice. Maybe he had just made two of his first friends in the Gotei 13... well, behind his Captain and Lieutenant. After receiving his answer he asks Shu.
"Only kidou correct? No zanpakuto?"
